Drama is not Vice forte, wag na ipilit, ang cringe nga nung drama scenes sa Breadwinner eh... focus na lang kung san ang strenght nya which is Comedy, di naman pede lahat ng genre eh kailangan andun ang presence nya.
ReplyDeleteI think Vice can do decent drama. For me lang naman, ang chaka ng script ng Breadwinner. Ang babaw. Napaka slapstick ng comedy pero marketing nila is drama. Sana wag ganyan ang Call Me Mother. Pero baka hintayin ko na lang yan sa streaming.

DeleteHindi ako na cringe dun sa breadwinner, na disapoint ako sobra. With all the hype and iyakan sa social media, nung napanuod ko, very meh, its very pilit, especially yung mga patawa scenes saka ung iyakan scenes na ang daming sinasabi ng character. Masyadong spoon fed. I miss yung movies before na pa one liner one liner lang mga sagutan pero makakagawa ka ng interpretation mo sa isip mo while watching. I think un ang kaibahan ng dati sa ngayon. Dati art pa talaga ang mga films kase art makes people think and interpret and feel the visuals and sound, while yung mga movies ngayon, mababaw na masyado, very slapstick drama. If you know what i mean..
DeleteRooting for VG na pang heavy drama. Konti pa. Sana lang ilayo yung style ng movie nya sa mga past movies nya. I expected na yun yung mangyayari last mmff nya pero may hint of ganun pa din talaga
