As a man who lives abroad, I admire Sarah for being so strong for uplifting her independence from her separation. Clearly, it shows that modern love shows that no gender is safe from a failed fairytale. Evidently, she's in a power imbalance from her husband's well-heeled family which has made her leave their home despite the consequences of what that means for her entertainment career. Her proactivenesss to relaunch her career after such difficult circumstances and live separately from her ex show that she would rather protect her and her son's future over any material thing. Regardless of the gender stereotypes, she's really showing encouraging behaviour among other Filipinos who could never break their family apart for pointless and immature reasons like 'saving face' and 'delicadaza'. No point in staying in a marriage if everyone's unhappy. Sarah is doing the right thing for her and her sons.
