OE parin?

    1. Ganda kasi ng term niya. Excavated, Centuries Old.. o diba?! Nakaw pala in simple words. Benefit of the doubt kay Beauty.. mukhang wala siya alam sa history ng alahas na suot niya. Basta sabi lang sa kanya Antigong
      ginto yan.

    2. 11:49 same thoughts. Di sa pinag tatanggol si merlat, pero di rin talaga ma de deny na may stylists sya at publicists who should've known better.

To save face kahit onti, feeling ko dapat i-donate na lang yan sa museum or somewhere na mag bebenefit ung community ng napag nakawan

    3. Hala! Nega vibes wearing accessories of dead people. Let them rest in peace. Diosme!

    6. Anong benefit of the doubt, sa kanya naman nanggaling yung term na 'excavated' -- so alam nyang hinukay.

      Delete
  5. There's something wrong nga, ancestral jewelry kahit sa ibang bansa they don't wear those, they're preserved and put on museum di yan accessories na pwede irampa nowadays, it's just bad, even in Egypt bawal gawin yan

    ReplyDelete
  6. Why would someone wear eye and mouth covers of the dead? These are looted pieces or if they were take legally still its not something that should be proudly worn.

those are death masks!!! and i agree, they have desecrated the graves of the people from where the death masks are from. such artifacts should not be worn as an accessory. so tacky.

  9. Ang tanong saan nya nakuha yan? Maybe she got it from her art collector/curator husband

  10. Its jewelry from dead people. Pano man nakuha sana di na lng ginalaw para gawing kwintas at hikaw. Respeto na lng sa mga namayapa.

Medyo tacky for me because these are items used by dead people. Kinda creepy, mamaya may sumpa pa yan

  20. Trying hard artsy kuning kuning

    ReplyDelete
  21. I like her look actually. Pero yikes, kaloka naman ang origin. Those pieces belong to a museum. Pero kahit antique at historical pa yan, I still find the act of grave digging very disrespectful. Kung gagawin sa akin yan in the distant future, kukuyogin ko talaga yung gumawa. 😄

    ReplyDelete
  22. Alleged art collector yung husband niya so ayun hindi pala sila knowledgeable about the back stories behind each piece.

    ReplyDelete
  23. What if ilagay si Beauty sa National Museum ng buhay since excavated at old centuries ang gold na suot nya? ahahahahha

  27. To think na art collector/curator ang husband nya. Napaka-tacky and horrible. Imagine, graves were desecrated to steal those death masks.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Di ba art curator ang hubby niya or involved sa museum? How did they come upon to own those pieces? They really do belong in a museum.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Grabe na call out na nga nung unang post nya pero nag post pa nang same pic following the first.. walang pake ang lola basta maka awra lang at parang proud pa kasi pinasuot sa kanya ang alahas.. kaloka

    ReplyDelete
  35. My lola said that the artifacts and 'kagamitan' ng mga yumao na carry with them remnants of their soul, especially if their death was not welcome. Kumbaga, such items can be 'haunted' no matter how long ago na namatay ang may-ari. How much more these items, dahil ancient sila, kagamitan ng mga ninuno natin. Time nila, sobrang luxury ang gold. Careful when handling the things of the dead, they can carry a curse.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Totoo! Depressing and nakakatakot ang surroundings nila. Sabi niya they get moved or they influence mga visitors at staff. They even caught on cctv mga kababalaghan - moving chairs, shadows, doors opening and closing, things flying off the shelves, etc.

These items carry the memory of the dead. They can also carry curses. Mag ingat. Kung may haunted house, merong ding haunted items. Kung namatay silang matindi ang resentment, prepare for poltergeist activities in your house and around you, Beauty G. And when it happens, you can only blame yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Respect the dead. Death masks were made for the dead by their descendants as their last measure of respect before their burial. By desecration and looting, dahil sa ninakaw ang gamit nila, you are inviting them to retaliate. Beware the anger of the spirits of the dead. They do not bow down to money or power, just the need to assuage their resentment. Call a priest, asap and return these items with the deepest apology and respect.

    ReplyDelete
  38. di man lng natakot na baka cursed yan? may mga ritual kaya ginagawa during burial for those things. natatakot ako for her ha

    ReplyDelete
  39. Great example of "think before you click".

    ReplyDelete
  40. Maiba lang, mukang maganda gown nya. Bakit kaya di napansin.

    ReplyDelete
  41. mayaman lang naman kasi si beauty pero hindi siya cultured kung ibabase mo the way she talks. siguro maganda sa pandinig nya yung words na "excavated", "centuries-old" kaya ginamit nya. akala nya nakakasosyal. di nya alam ibig sabihin.

    ReplyDelete

  43. Ay mamsh, wala ako paki kung collector ka & you're fascinated by these kinds of things, pero as in sinuot mo pa talaga, gamit ng patay yan! Hindi ka natakot coz it might be spell bound?! Some of these kasi nilalagay to help guide the soul to the next life & serves as protection againts evil elements. Gosh katakot yun ha! Yung hinukay nyo na nga ,katakot na at disrespectful tapos sinuot mo pa, hundred years na nakalibing yan! Some rich people talaga, hayst!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Tama! Hindi pa rin nakinig ang mga robbers - and the families they belong to were cursed for generations. Umabot hanggang Europe. There was a book about them - cursed objects.

    1. 7:03 True. I had no idea na may mga eye and mouth mask until I read the what the historian/curator said .

      Delete
    2. Try visiting museums po if i may suggest.

The fact na ganun yun ung history non & sinuot Pa nya di ba kakilabot ?

It is creepy and kinda scary.

maybe ok rin kay beauty na one day in the year 2500 ay i excavate siya at nakawan ng kung anu ano.

  51. I actually liked her look pero yun sana i return nila, shouldnt her husband know this kasi he’s in the art industry

  54. Those pieces belong in a museum atleast man lang. And I thought she was a smart one.
I believe burial coins were given to the dead as tokens to be used by them for their journey to the underworld aka pamasahe nila to their final destination according to myths.

Scary. Ghosts with a grievance can be very difficult to get rid of. They can latch on to you, for generations of your family.

Lol. So, pag-aari yan ng mga patay na. Scary naman to wear that lalo't di mo knows mga owner nyan.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ewww, I just can't. Yun neck piece mo po, lumapat na sa lips ng corpse, to seal their lips. So ilang lips ng corpse yan?! Eww!
