  2. ON POINT! HAy.

  3. Based on his tweets, parang pinapatamaan niya ung Walang Forever and Buy Now, Die Later. Iisa lang pala producer nun? I love Walang Forever and deserve din manalo pero di ako makapaniwala sa Buy Now. Mas okay ung Nilalang or Haunted Mansion.

  5. I admire Eric Matti, but mas hahangaan ko siya kung di na lang niya tinanggap ang award from MMFF para maipakita niyang talagang di niya nagusthan ang naging patakbo nito

    4. Kailangan niya tanggapin para makapunta siya sa stage at mailabas niya ang saloobin in front of MMFF bigwigs na walang magawa kundi makinig at ngumanga

      Delete

      Delete
    2. Okay na yun kesa lumaking Nega at Ampalaya katulad mo. To each his own, respect that. Just because they do pabebe and jeje doesnt mean they're less better than you are.

give the paying moviegoers real movies yung me kabuluhan,

    2. Its their choice

    3. You cant force moviegoers to watch your film. Its my money and gusto ko ng mababaw na movie, entertainment nga diba?

    4. yung mga makabuluhang pelikula, ang nagdya-judge noon Gawad URIAN so don't expect too much from MMFF, Famas, Star Awards, etc.

  9. At the end of the day, it's not only about the quality of the film, it's just one of th ingredient to generate profit and to encourage the people to watch it. It's what people wanna watch, it can be a trashy or low budgeted film. One good example is That thing called tadhana, simple Lang ung film and low budgeted pero it managed to capture the interest of the people. Same thing with General Luna. And for the cinema owner, it's about business so they can put more cinema for HTF but if nobody watch it, then lugi lang.

    1. Well said. When there are films na umaapaw ang pila? Supply and demand.

  10. Sorry i dont get it. Pag ba may prepared speech ang winner, for example this one si direk. Alam na ba nya before hand na nanalo na siya bago pa magstart show kaya nakapag prepare siya? Thanks :)

    1. He prepared an acceptance speech whether he wins or not.

Micheal Keaton had a speech prepared for the Oscars but unfortunately he lost to Eddie Redmayne. Michael was caught in the camera putting back his prepared speech inside his coat.

      Delete
    3. hindi. naghahanda sila IF IN CASE n manalo lng.

  11. Beastmode si direk pero i couldnt agree more. We deserve better. Mabuhay ka direk

I will surely watch HTF dahil I was so amazed by how great a film OTJ was. It was not a Filipino caliber type of film. That says alot about our local films! Tsk tsk! We are engulfed by too much politics even outside politics. Philippines is slowly crumbling down and is losing all its glory. Tao ang may problema because they compose the system. Battle of the networks and other outside influence are the name of the game in our decaying mmff.

    2. oh my god ipahinga mo na yan

    3. Okay, let me get this straight.

  15. Might sound too harsh but, I don't think MMFF is that credible as an award-giving body, I mean no offense sa ibang artists and movie outfits as I am sure they all worked hard for their movies, but there is not much to complain about kasi ever since, MMFF's most known for "commercial-type" of movies. Yung bebenta sa tao. Yung formula na subok na... the "indie-type" of movies though, they belong to other award-giving bodies, ung talagang tututok sa talento hnd lang ng artists kundi production people, at sa content ng movie as a whole.
Just an opinion from an avid moviegoer. :)

    1. it's not harsh because it's the truth. ang hirap kasi sa iba kapag totoo ang sinasabi, ide-describe as bitter, ampalaya, sinungaling, etc

  17. Kung ako sa kanya. Gahawin ko yung speech tapos I will drop the mic, and leave the award. Karma, siguro sa unprofessionalism nya kay Dingdong.

    1. What I read the lead role was not offered to DD.

    2. Paano naging karma e nanalo n sya? Tard

      Delete
    3. I think DD was considered pero very busy siya to accept it so napunta ang role kay JLC. Let's just keep DD out of this topic. Unfair na i-drag pa ang name niya.

Im sorry pero i did not like it. A usual Vice Ganda's stint and walang sawa niyang sarcastic style na pagpapatawa.

  19. What does he really want? Is it better films or change? The problem is, a lot of people want better, nobody wants change.

    1. People want entertainment. Better for him might not be the same for others. Kanya-kanyang trip yan.

THREE best pictures? Now more people will want to see it, at magkakaron sila ng awareness na kayang kaya naman ng Pinoy filmmakers na gumawa ng pelikula na may kabuluhan.

  21. Most MMFF movies are garbage.

    ReplyDelete

    1. He did it to prove a point. Not giving up on the industry

  24. You'd have to check on his post whom he didn't tag. That looks fishy.
