DENR temporarily Stops Construction of Monterrazas de Cebu until the issue quietly dies down, Developer Issues Statement :D :D :D There, i fixed the title ;) ;) ;)
12:28 DI PA SA NGAYON. PERO MAY NANGYARI NA DING PAGBAHA DAW DYAN ACCORDING SA MGA TAO DYAN KAYA TINUTUTULAN YANG PROYEKTONG YAN. AT DI MALAYONG BABAHAIN ULIT DYAN NG TODO DAHIL WALA NG KAKAPITANG MGA PUNO ANG TUBIG ULAN.
DENR washing their hands and throwing the construction company under the bus, as if they weren't directly involved in this fiasco. Welcome to the Philippines!
Well, i think i've seen this episode already, they'll continue once the issue die down. Next headline nyan, sustainable naman pala so tuloy ang project! LOL
700+ trees are false. The original developer/ owner of the land is a heritage and restoration artist/architect who was very keen on protecting the trees, etc. there are total of 12 trees in the area and still alive and not cut down. Only cleared were shrubs, grass, etc. no trees
I doubt. Laking pinsala yang ginawa nila, we'll see that in the next coming years, lalo na palala na ng palala ang climate change and unpredictable na ang mga bagyo.
Paano naman nangyari yung 700 trees eh hindi naman maraming puno sa bundok na yan even before the start of the construction.
Completely stop, not temporary.
This is the reason why it's difficult to invest in the philippines. Imagine you spent hundred millions and then suddenly DENR will tell you what you did was illegal because DENR didn't do their job in the first place. Mahirap talaga mag invest pag ang gobyerno ay corrupt and cannot be trusted.
Why? Floods in the area is not caused by Monterrazas. They have 5 detention ponds in the area. The one contributed to the floods are those smaller subdivisions in the hills before monterrazas. That’s fact
Ang dami di nagbabasa dito. Mga taga Cebu ba yun nag cocomment dito? The flood in Cebu was not caused by Monterrazas.

ReplyDeleteThat's it? Shouldn't the company give compensation to the people that were affected by their ignorance and negligence. Shouldn't they be sued?
