Its true! Pal sucks. My sister bought a roundtrip ticket kasi 3 weeks siya jan sa Pilipinas. They just emailed her to tell her na return ticket nya is cancelled with only 5 days left nalang in her stay. They didn’t help her rebook or anything. Nkahanap nga ng return flight pero sobrang mahal! They didn’t refund her the money pa for the cancelled return flight until after 4 months! Pahirapan pa bago na return. Kaya never flying pal ever again!

Normal ang overbooking sa mga airlines to maximize profits. Kung babasahin nyo yung fine print na nakasulat sa ticket, may nakalagay dun na pwede ma overbook. Usually mga 10% more yung ibbook nila kasi may mga no show. Pag nagkataon lahat sumulpot, maghahanap sila ng volunteer na kumuha ng ibang flihht tas bibigyan ng compensation. Kung walang volunteer, mang ooffload sila.

Yes, we were offered compensation + new tickets when our China airlines flight was overbooked. We didn’t accept the offer, so I guess they just tried with someone else. To be fair, medyo rough yung weather noon, that I guess smaller airlines couldn’t fly so nasingit mga VIPs.

4:20, Yes, this is true. All airline companies overbooks their flights for last minute no shows and offloading problems.. Wala pa mga staff tickets dito. This is a standard procedure, nothing you can do about it. Nasa diskarte na lang ng ground staff yan how to resolve such overbooking problems.

Dito sa US covered ng travel insurance or cc insurance ang cancellations pero kailangan for a valid reason. If you purchase travel protection directly from the airline, same rules apply din.

Hindi naman mag bawas ng gas pag less pax, might as well fill the plane with pax from first class down to economy. I've worked for 2 foreign airlines. My 1st airline boss explained to me re: Overbooking. Something to do with Revenue Management. Example: 200 seat capacity ang aircraft. They will oversell 5 seats. On the day of departure, meron dyan magno-No Show meaning passenger didn't cancel booking in advance, or may na-Offload due to visa problems, etc so sayang yung 1 or 2 seats or my boss used the term "butas yung flight" (ng 2 seats). Kaya nag o-overbook to utilize all seats.
What if all 205 passengers will show up that day? Patay tayo dyan, so ground staff will ask for any volunteers na mag give way. Pag wala, sorry talaga mamimili ang staff aka involuntary.
Kaya pls pls pls always do Online Check-in. Your ticket coupon status will change from OPEN to CKIN. Once this is done, this is a guarantee na hindi ka na puede ma-offload. Versus yung mga hindi nag Online Check-in, sila yung may risk. Sorry if this is very technical with my airline lingo.
If you cannot travel, pls pls Cancel your booking early or latest 24hrs before departure, to avoid No Show. It's on the Fare Rules. When you book online, nakalagay yan under Category 16 - Penalties. I just know where to read and find it. But most people don't pay attention, so I hope makakatulong itong shine-share ko. Usually ang clause pag Economy ticket or lalo na super restricted "Non Refundable in case of No Show".

That being said, I'm more inclined to believe na baka nga nakitang hindi serviceable yung seats nila but sana it was handled better like may spare sila or at least premium economy man lang ilipat. Also, from experience, laging may aberya pag lumilipad ako ng PAL. From grossly delayed flights to cancellations on the day itself, to lost luggages, to seats with defective entertainment systems, to no available infant lapbelts, no motion sickness bags and crappy literally panis na pagkain. As in consistent sila na may problema each time I fly with them and I just brace myself each time I fly PAL para hindi ma disappoint. Minsan for entertainment na lang binabasa ko comment section ng promo and sponsored posts nila sa fb at laging may reklamo from customers.
6:59pm yung route ng Manila-Honolulu sila lang meron kaya hanggang ngayon sumasakay pa rin kami. Madalas kami doon kasi may relatives kami dun. Naalala ko dati may flight ako sa kanila Honolulu-Manila tas delayed yung flight tas hindi namin alam kelan lilipad. 11am dapat flight tas naghihintay kami sa airport hanggang 5pm sinabi na cancelled na tas next day na lang kami sa ibang flight isasakay. Juskolord. Doctor pa naman ako and I missed my 24h duty sa hospital sa kanila that time.
Other destinations hindi na kami sumasakay ng PAL.

This airline is indeed sucks..they have atleast 20 counters at NAIA and guess what, 3 counters are only working. All passengers heading to different destinations are all queuing up for check-in until its to board, hindi ka pa nakaka check in. The last time i was there, I saw a staff (middle aged woman limping) taking money from passengers so they can skip the queue like i have been queuing up for 2 bloody hours and when it’s my turn, bigla sila sumingit. i called her out and the family that I will report it as i took a video. She even game money to the girls at the counter. I reported it. i hope she’s gone.

Kahit naman sino maiinis sa ganitong situation but overbooking is a common practice ng mga airline companies anywhere in the world. Malas ka kung very late ka dumating sa airport without a reserved/assigned seat. Kaya if your airline allows for early online check in, you should do it. But I must say, I highly doubt PAL will even respond to regular individual if sila ang nagreklamo sa tweeter.

Worst experience ko din yang PAL juice colored kasumpa sumpa. Naubos ang galit ko dyan last time ako umuwi ng Pinas last July. Sorry share ko lang. First leg ng flight ko yan from MNL- Haneda flight namin is supposed to be 8:05. 8am na di pa nagboboard taka kaming mga passengers ugh non pala wala yung plane na sasakyan namin ginamit sa domestic flight di pa bumabalik. So dinala kami sa PAL waiting area so they can rebook our flights. May connection kami halos lahat. My layover is almost 3hrs going to Seattle. My gulay 1pm na bago ako naikuha ng flight di ko alam ginagawa ng mga masusungit n ground staff ng PAL. Aalis at may check daw sa supervisor then hours bago bumalik. Perhuwisyo pa ang luggage we need to recheck it in again kasi iba na itinerary namin. Nakakaiyak jusko naubos talaga inis ko sa mga yan yung flight na binigay sa akin is Honolulu- Seattle 5pm ang alis that same day. 2pm na di pa nila nahahanap mga luggage namin. Ayon saktong 3 nakuha ko na so check in na ulit sa flight. I thought ok na wala ng aberya kasi they boarded us on time. 5pm nag move na plane so akl namin aalis my gulay wait daw muna may passengers pa from Laoag mahigit 100 people na nasa domestic airport pa. Samakatuwid 7:30pm na nk nakaalis and I missed my connecting flight again going to Seattle. Imagine 2.5hrs kaming nktengga sa runway kasi late yung domestic flight nila according sa mga passengers na sumakay. Ayon pagdating ko Hawaii wala na yung flight ko going to Seattle. They will help us daw pagdating sa Hawaii naku wala naman din. Kaya naiwan na naman ako ng plane because of them being late. I had to spend a day in Hawaii. Yung oroginal flight ko na less than 20hrs naging mahigit 2days jusmiyo marimar PAL maawa kayo sa mga passengers nyo.
Tapang ng PAL ha. Gaslighting ang peg. Kahit sino naman, magbayad ka ng business class, now u have to be downgraded sa economy. Ganun na lng? Dapat yan rebook sa same class on the next available flight or bigyan ng compensation for the hassle. Yang PAL talaga, pa-nget ng serbisyo. kami noon, nag refuel sa Hawaii (from SFO), sobra ang na-ikargang fuel, delayed ng 3 hours kasi hinintay pa mag open ang Manila office. then ini-off ang aircon, sa sobrang init sa loob ng plane nag nose bleed anak ko. Humihingi ako ng extrang tissue kasi ubos na yung dala ko. wait lang ng wait ang narinig ko sa flight attendant. ang ending, yung jacket ko na lang ang ginamit ko. palibhasa economy passengers lang kami, walang nag-check after. oh di ba, bongga talaga ang PAL sa pal-pak na service.

Ako din I fly Korean Air or JAL or minsan Delta kaso last flight ko this July namalasan ko first leg was PAL. Ayon cancelled kasi walang plane. Then nung nag rebook delayed ang flight so I missed my connection again. Na stuck ako for a day ulit sa airport yung supposedly 19hrs ko naging mahigit 48hrs. Never again!
I work in the airline industry and yes it's legal to overbook flights depends on the country. They do this to maximize profits. Kasi minsan may mga no show at offloaded sa flight. Ground staff will ask for willing pax who can give up their seat in exchange of compensation like hotel accomodation and free roundtrip tickets if overbook ang flight. Some airlines nag oofer din ng upgrade to business if you will take the next available flight. Ang problema kasi dito minsan ang marketing ng airlines sobrang mag overbook ang ending ang ground staff ang mag sa suffer kasi kami yung nasisisi at mag hahandle pag nag show up lahat ng nasa booking list on time. Nag re released lang kami ng seat ng pax if closing time na at binibigyan ng 15 mins extension ang mga naka online check in (depende din ito sa policy ng airline). Hindi siguro maayos ang pag handle ng flight controller jan kaya na mismanage ang seats. Dapat may backup plan na agad ang counter pag ganito na booking.

As our flagship carrier, PAL needs to be held accountable to high standards. Luckily, I haven't personally experienced these woes but I've had plenty of friends and family experience this with PAL. I hope they can improve para mapasama naman tayo sa best airline rankings of flagship carriers.
Buti pa ang other Asian air companies, maganda ang services from check-in to deboarding the plane. my experience with China airlines, tulog ako nung nag serve ng meal but as soon na nakita nilang gising na ako, they asked kagad kung ano ang gusto kong meal. EVA naman if restricted diet ka, ikaw ang unang bibigyan ng meals. Korean Air, ang babait ng flight attendants.
True sa pal lalong lalo sa cebu pac grabe rude ng mga FA when i was asking them for assistance as in "hello" pa lng nasabi ko taas kilay sabay sabi sandali with a rude tone. Yang respond ng kahit saang Customer Service gaya ng respond ng PAL kay Vice Ganda ay sobrang common. Most of the time pang uuto na lang yan para di na mas lalong magalit ang customer pero ang totoo nang uuto na lang yan. Kunyar kunwarian nag care.

On point ang reklamo ni Vice eh!
Same sa experience namin last aug. Papunta din sa thailand and pauwi. Overbooked si PAL, yung seniors namin reserved seats pero hindi naman ganun nangyari. Hayy nako PAL-PAK talaga.
Kung maraming beses na pala silang naperwisyo bat paulit ulit pa rin sila nagbobook sa PAL. Ika nga, once is enough, twice is too much, thrice is a poison that can kill a person.
20 years ago ganyan na ang gawain ng PAL esp pag December. mag ooverbooking tapos they will entice the customers like 5K pesos to give up your seats! we promised ourselves hinding hindi na kami lilipad via PAL! SQ na lang kasehodang mas mahal. what Government should do or the DOTC is fine these airlines for their pangit na serbisyo. dapat may KPI sila bec they serve the Public!
Here in the Middle East, PAL flies directly going to the Pinas. Convenient when you avoid layovers. Also, when do you get to book ahead before your date of travel? you can get the best deal tickets online too.
However, nothing is guaranteed with PAL now. Even if you purchased the most costly tickets? that doesn't matter unless you are mindful of doing your online check-in on time so at least you can rest assured of your seat's availability as a priority.
I don't understand why airlines still overbook. THE SEATS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. So why does it matter if a few passengers don't show up?
Ang di ko gets pano ba nagiging unserviceable ang upuan sa eroplano? Eh upuan lang naman yun like… ano kaya klase pasahero nagkaron bago para masira ng ganun? Kung tulo ng aircon or medyo may lubog ang upuan man parang sa bus, mas internal arrangement yun between passengers at mapapansin at magrereklamo lang sila or lilipat lang sila pero di aabot na muna magpapasakay sa eroplano? Kaya tama talaga na inexpose sila of giving conflicting explanation kay Vice at sa statement nila. Ang laki ng effort ng mga pasahero wag ma late sa boarding at ang laki ng gastos at abala sa mga wrong name at changes sa booking kaya dapat lang mas maging strict rin at marevisit ang policy at punishment pag Airline naman ang nakaabala ng ganyan kahit isang minuto lang sa pasahero. Kulang yung pabiscuit lang. Di talaga fair.
Palagi tayong at the mercy of these airlines. Yung wala ka na lang magagawa sa pang aabuso nila especially Cebu Pac.
ReplyDeleteIts true! Pal sucks. My sister bought a roundtrip ticket kasi 3 weeks siya jan sa Pilipinas. They just emailed her to tell her na return ticket nya is cancelled with only 5 days left nalang in her stay. They didn’t help her rebook or anything. Nkahanap nga ng return flight pero sobrang mahal! They didn’t refund her the money pa for the cancelled return flight until after 4 months! Pahirapan pa bago na return. Kaya never flying pal ever again!

DeleteNormal ang overbooking sa mga airlines to maximize profits. Kung babasahin nyo yung fine print na nakasulat sa ticket, may nakalagay dun na pwede ma overbook. Usually mga 10% more yung ibbook nila kasi may mga no show. Pag nagkataon lahat sumulpot, maghahanap sila ng volunteer na kumuha ng ibang flihht tas bibigyan ng compensation. Kung walang volunteer, mang ooffload sila.

DeleteYes, we were offered compensation + new tickets when our China airlines flight was overbooked. We didn’t accept the offer, so I guess they just tried with someone else. To be fair, medyo rough yung weather noon, that I guess smaller airlines couldn’t fly so nasingit mga VIPs.

Delete4:20, Yes, this is true. All airline companies overbooks their flights for last minute no shows and offloading problems.. Wala pa mga staff tickets dito. This is a standard procedure, nothing you can do about it. Nasa diskarte na lang ng ground staff yan how to resolve such overbooking problems.

6:55, Mismo, eh di doble ang kinita ng airline company. Kaya nga naniniguro sila to always overbook a flight. Hindi naman mag bawas ng gas pag less pax, might as well fill the plane with pax from first class down to economy. Kasalanan ng ticketing, mamroblema ang ground staff til boarding, ang kawawang cabin crew ang minumura all thorough out the flight.

DeleteI've worked for 2 foreign airlines. My 1st airline boss explained to me re: Overbooking. Something to do with Revenue Management. Example: 200 seat capacity ang aircraft. They will oversell 5 seats. On the day of departure, meron dyan magno-No Show meaning passenger didn't cancel booking in advance, or may na-Offload due to visa problems, etc so sayang yung 1 or 2 seats or my boss used the term "butas yung flight" (ng 2 seats). Kaya nag o-overbook to utilize all seats.
What if all 205 passengers will show up that day? Patay tayo dyan, so ground staff will ask for any volunteers na mag give way. Pag wala, sorry talaga mamimili ang staff aka involuntary.
Kaya pls pls pls always do Online Check-in. Your ticket coupon status will change from OPEN to CKIN. Once this is done, this is a guarantee na hindi ka na puede ma-offload. Versus yung mga hindi nag Online Check-in, sila yung may risk. Sorry if this is very technical with my airline lingo.
If you cannot travel, pls pls Cancel your booking early or latest 24hrs before departure, to avoid No Show. It's on the Fare Rules. When you book online, nakalagay yan under Category 16 - Penalties. I just know where to read and find it. But most people don't pay attention, so I hope makakatulong itong shine-share ko. Usually ang clause pag Economy ticket or lalo na super restricted "Non Refundable in case of No Show".

For me lang, kung international ang flight mo, usually may itinerary ka dyan, hotel booking and everything planned na tapos di ka makakasakay, aba di nacocompensate ng airline ang stress na aabutin mo. DeleteGawain talaga ng airlines mag overbook although not sure ako if they do that sa business class. That being said, I'm more inclined to believe na baka nga nakitang hindi serviceable yung seats nila but sana it was handled better like may spare sila or at least premium economy man lang ilipat. Also, from experience, laging may aberya pag lumilipad ako ng PAL. From grossly delayed flights to cancellations on the day itself, to lost luggages, to seats with defective entertainment systems, to no available infant lapbelts, no motion sickness bags and crappy literally panis na pagkain. As in consistent sila na may problema each time I fly with them and I just brace myself each time I fly PAL para hindi ma disappoint. Minsan for entertainment na lang binabasa ko comment section ng promo and sponsored posts nila sa fb at laging may reklamo from customers.

Delete6:59pm yung route ng Manila-Honolulu sila lang meron kaya hanggang ngayon sumasakay pa rin kami. Madalas kami doon kasi may relatives kami dun. Naalala ko dati may flight ako sa kanila Honolulu-Manila tas delayed yung flight tas hindi namin alam kelan lilipad. 11am dapat flight tas naghihintay kami sa airport hanggang 5pm sinabi na cancelled na tas next day na lang kami sa ibang flight isasakay. Juskolord. Doctor pa naman ako and I missed my 24h duty sa hospital sa kanila that time.

Alam ng maintenance issue, ginamit pa din ang airplane. PAL ang may kasalanan ng lahat ng ito. I should know. I used to work in the airlines before. Some things never change... Tsk3.

So don't be late for your flights.
My flight was 8am and I arrived at the airport 4am. Guess what? Walang plane yung plane ang PAL ginamit sa domestic kaya our flight was cancelled. So ayon I missed my connection.

DeleteThis airline is indeed sucks..they have atleast 20 counters at NAIA and guess what, 3 counters are only working. All passengers heading to different destinations are all queuing up for check-in until its to board, hindi ka pa nakaka check in. The last time i was there, I saw a staff (middle aged woman limping) taking money from passengers so they can skip the queue like i have been queuing up for 2 bloody hours and when it’s my turn, bigla sila sumingit. i called her out and the family that I will report it as i took a video. She even game money to the girls at the counter. I reported it. i hope she’s gone.

ReplyDeleteKahit naman sino maiinis sa ganitong situation but overbooking is a common practice ng mga airline companies anywhere in the world. Malas ka kung very late ka dumating sa airport without a reserved/assigned seat. Kaya if your airline allows for early online check in, you should do it. But I must say, I highly doubt PAL will even respond to regular individual if sila ang nagreklamo sa tweeter.

Even Scoot, grabe din experience namin in Singapore airport, also a US airline n LA, 5 hours delayed flight naman, etc, etc. Nakakainis naman talaga pag hassle ang flight. But Im surprised though na business class, ma bump off kasi priority passengers sila eh……….

So, the FA instruct those seat grabbers to go to where they belong! Kajirita. Kahit maganda gising mo, kapal ng mga taong ganun! The airlines din. Para ano pa at my seat no. ang ticket mo?! Kung ang mangyayari e, uunahan kalang din ng iba?! Gigil much lang Lol!
ReplyDeleteYup, i never fly PAL. ALTHO i didn't experience cancellation, i have had unpleasant experience with their flight attendants. It's just not worth the long flight.
ReplyDeleteMabuti pa ang Etihad. Dahil overbooked, kinalabasan, my husband and I were upgraded to Business Class going to Malaysia from Abu Dhabi. Hehe
ReplyDeleteWorst experience ko din yang PAL juice colored kasumpa sumpa. Naubos ang galit ko dyan last time ako umuwi ng Pinas last July. Sorry share ko lang. First leg ng flight ko yan from MNL- Haneda flight namin is supposed to be 8:05. 8am na di pa nagboboard taka kaming mga passengers ugh non pala wala yung plane na sasakyan namin ginamit sa domestic flight di pa bumabalik. So dinala kami sa PAL waiting area so they can rebook our flights. May connection kami halos lahat. My layover is almost 3hrs going to Seattle. My gulay 1pm na bago ako naikuha ng flight di ko alam ginagawa ng mga masusungit n ground staff ng PAL. Aalis at may check daw sa supervisor then hours bago bumalik. Perhuwisyo pa ang luggage we need to recheck it in again kasi iba na itinerary namin. Nakakaiyak jusko naubos talaga inis ko sa mga yan yung flight na binigay sa akin is Honolulu- Seattle 5pm ang alis that same day. 2pm na di pa nila nahahanap mga luggage namin. Ayon saktong 3 nakuha ko na so check in na ulit sa flight. I thought ok na wala ng aberya kasi they boarded us on time. 5pm nag move na plane so akl namin aalis my gulay wait daw muna may passengers pa from Laoag mahigit 100 people na nasa domestic airport pa. Samakatuwid 7:30pm na nk nakaalis and I missed my connecting flight again going to Seattle. Imagine 2.5hrs kaming nktengga sa runway kasi late yung domestic flight nila according sa mga passengers na sumakay. Ayon pagdating ko Hawaii wala na yung flight ko going to Seattle. They will help us daw pagdating sa Hawaii naku wala naman din. Kaya naiwan na naman ako ng plane because of them being late. I had to spend a day in Hawaii. Yung oroginal flight ko na less than 20hrs naging mahigit 2days jusmiyo marimar PAL maawa kayo sa mga passengers nyo.

DeleteTapang ng PAL ha. Gaslighting ang peg. Kahit sino naman, magbayad ka ng business class, now u have to be downgraded sa economy. Ganun na lng? Dapat yan rebook sa same class on the next available flight or bigyan ng compensation for the hassle. You should not be forced to just give up your seats and get lesser service than what you paid for.
ReplyDeletePalala lang ng palala nangyayari sa atin. Mahal bilihin, palpak na sebisyo at ikaw pa sisihin like pag naiwan ka ng aeroplano sa haba ng pila sa immigration. Bat daw hindi mo inagahan. Ang masaya lang mga oligarch at mga cronies nila mula noon hangang ngayon. Laging may celebration, events trip abroad na ouro pledges lang nama . Kung saan yung mga gastos nya tinulong na lang sa mga kababayan natin. Never naman nila inamin mga kasalanan nila. Feeling nila sila mayari ng Pinas.

ReplyDeleteYang PAL talaga, pa-nget ng serbisyo. kami noon, nag refuel sa Hawaii (from SFO), sobra ang na-ikargang fuel, delayed ng 3 hours kasi hinintay pa mag open ang Manila office. then ini-off ang aircon, sa sobrang init sa loob ng plane nag nose bleed anak ko. Humihingi ako ng extrang tissue kasi ubos na yung dala ko. wait lang ng wait ang narinig ko sa flight attendant. ang ending, yung jacket ko na lang ang ginamit ko. palibhasa economy passengers lang kami, walang nag-check after. oh di ba, bongga talaga ang PAL sa pal-pak na service.

Deletenaka-off talaga besh, kung sa car - fan lang ang naka-on kasi nasa ground kami ng Hawaii airport, nasobrahan ng paglagay ng fuel, it took them 45 minutes or more before kami pinapunta sa terminal.

If paulit ulit kang flying on PAL pero di ka satisfied sa service, maybe 3:00AM it's time to try other Asian carriers - like Asiana, Korean Air, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, etc na maganda ang service vs sakit ng ulo sa PAL. For senior citizens, they can request WCHR (wheelchair) service sa booking. Para di mapagod sa kakalakad.

Ang swerte namin kasi may SIA ang country of origin namin. Last uwi namin late yung plane namin from other City but mukhang hinintay tlaga kami kasi kami yung pinakalast na nagboard papuntang Singapore. Pero wala na yatang direct flights papuntang DC.

ReplyDeleteThis is why local airlines suck. IF long haul, I fly Emirates, Etihad or Qatar lang talaga. Turkish if gusto ko gumala in Istanbul. Pero kahit direct flight ang PAL to the US, I'd much rather waste an extra one day flying Emirates. Sobrang perwisyo lang talaga si PAL / CebPac and always nangyayari to.
ReplyDeleteAko din I fly Korean Air or JAL or minsan Delta kaso last flight ko this July namalasan ko first leg was PAL. Ayon cancelled kasi walang plane. Then nung nag rebook delayed ang flight so I missed my connection again. Na stuck ako for a day ulit sa airport yung supposedly 19hrs ko naging mahigit 48hrs. Never again!

DeleteI work in the airline industry and yes it's legal to overbook flights depends on the country. They do this to maximize profits. Kasi minsan may mga no show at offloaded sa flight. Ground staff will ask for willing pax who can give up their seat in exchange of compensation like hotel accomodation and free roundtrip tickets if overbook ang flight. Some airlines nag oofer din ng upgrade to business if you will take the next available flight. Ang problema kasi dito minsan ang marketing ng airlines sobrang mag overbook ang ending ang ground staff ang mag sa suffer kasi kami yung nasisisi at mag hahandle pag nag show up lahat ng nasa booking list on time. Nag re released lang kami ng seat ng pax if closing time na at binibigyan ng 15 mins extension ang mga naka online check in (depende din ito sa policy ng airline). Hindi siguro maayos ang pag handle ng flight controller jan kaya na mismanage ang seats. Dapat may backup plan na agad ang counter pag ganito na booking.

ReplyDeleteAs our flagship carrier, PAL needs to be held accountable to high standards. Luckily, I haven't personally experienced these woes but I've had plenty of friends and family experience this with PAL. I hope they can improve para mapasama naman tayo sa best airline rankings of flagship carriers.
ReplyDeleteButi pa ang other Asian air companies, maganda ang services from check-in to deboarding the plane. my experience with China airlines, tulog ako nung nag serve ng meal but as soon na nakita nilang gising na ako, they asked kagad kung ano ang gusto kong meal. EVA naman if restricted diet ka, ikaw ang unang bibigyan ng meals. Korean Air, ang babait ng flight attendants.

DeleteTrue sa pal lalong lalo sa cebu pac grabe rude ng mga FA when i was asking them for assistance as in "hello" pa lng nasabi ko taas kilay sabay sabi sandali with a rude tone. Dito kasi sa pinas pag sinabing FA like wow taas. Di siguro matanggap ng mga pinoy FA na taga assist,serve at taga kuha ng basura work nila kala nila fly here and everywhere lng sila mga feeling exec.

ReplyDeleteYang respond ng kahit saang Customer Service gaya ng respond ng PAL kay Vice Ganda ay sobrang common. Most of the time pang uuto na lang yan para di na mas lalong magalit ang customer pero ang totoo nang uuto na lang yan. Kunyar kunwarian nag care.
ReplyDeleteAkala ko ba recommended ang PAL instead of Cebu Pacific. Yung kasagsagan ng issue ng Cebu Pacific, ang ganda ng sinasabi sa PAL. Ngayon naman lumabas ang nagcocomment na pangit ang PAL.

Pero pag normal na traveler lang, hindi kilala, hindi public figure, deadma ang mga kumpanyang katulad ng PAL. SQ na lang kasehodang mas mahal. what Government should do or the DOTC is fine these airlines for their pangit na serbisyo. dapat may KPI sila bec they serve the Public!
ReplyDeleteHere in the Middle East, PAL flies directly going to the Pinas. Convenient when you avoid layovers. Also, when do you get to book ahead before your date of travel? you can get the best deal tickets online too.
ReplyDeleteHowever, nothing is guaranteed with PAL now. Even if you purchased the most costly tickets? that doesn't matter unless you are mindful of doing your online check-in on time so at least you can rest assured of your seat's availability as a priority.
I don't understand why airlines still overbook. THE SEATS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. So why does it matter if a few passengers don't show up?
ReplyDeleteAng di ko gets pano ba nagiging unserviceable ang upuan sa eroplano? Eh upuan lang naman yun like… ano kaya klase pasahero nagkaron bago para masira ng ganun? Kung tulo ng aircon or medyo may lubog ang upuan man parang sa bus, mas internal arrangement yun between passengers at mapapansin at magrereklamo lang sila or lilipat lang sila pero di aabot na muna magpapasakay sa eroplano? Kaya tama talaga na inexpose sila of giving conflicting explanation kay Vice at sa statement nila. Ang laki ng effort ng mga pasahero wag ma late sa boarding at ang laki ng gastos at abala sa mga wrong name at changes sa booking kaya dapat lang mas maging strict rin at marevisit ang policy at punishment pag Airline naman ang nakaabala ng ganyan kahit isang minuto lang sa pasahero. Kulang yung pabiscuit lang. Di talaga fair.
