I remember ABS and OD only had good wishes and good things to say about her when she left and then out of nowhere she threw shade at them & even at the whole Filipino showbiz industry itself. Many of her coworkers like in Dolce Amore were hurt. They thought she treasured the time she worked with them like they did with her.
Ang daming non-American celebrities sa Hollywood na they were able to have both. Parang si Lee Byu-Hun na meron career sa Korea pero he can do movies sa US, saka sila Zhang Ziyi (during her prime years) pati si Lea Seydoux. Dahil kung talagang magaling ka yung mga casting directors, producers at directors pa ang hahabol sa'yo.
Ginawa niya kasing clout yung pag burn ng bridge. Kaso negative ang naging feedback. Hindi niya naisip na mas iingay siya or may chance sa hollywood if she has kapamilya fans rally behind her. Maling mali talaga ang desisyon niya sa buhay.
3:40 naisip ko rin yan. Naisip nya pampaingay. Nagulat ako sa kanya non kasi tahimik lang naman ABS and Ogie. Like, where did that come from? Must have been for the attention. Wrong move though cause it boomeranged.
Nag-aral na lang sana sya ng Filmmaking or Theater Arts if she was serious about her chosen craft, lalo na't sagilid sya sa talent at ganda lang ang puhunan. She wasted years and a lot of money.

Pang ilang rebuild na ba ito ni Liza? The consequence of choosing the wrong people to handle your career. She wasted her time and her youth. Almost four years ang nasayang nya and baka more years pa. What she needs right now is a project that will result to a box office hit. Liza Frankenstein was a super flop.
Hollywood is down at the moment, theynlost 1/3 of their business and those in the industry - actors, studio staff,writers, production, directors - are laid off or without projects for years now. AI is cheaper and woke hollywood scripts and rehash stories do not make going to the theatre palatable. Better stream, personalize your entertainment consumption. Many turn to kdrama and prefer productions outside of hollywood. HOPE has to compete in this environment, therefore it is extra hard to find hollywood work.
I remembered G Toengi at the peak of her showbiz kasikatan in the Phillipines, she was the It girl of showbiz, laman ng TV ads and billboards, umalis, nag Holywood, nag waitress doon while auditioning for parts, walang nangyari... as in nalipasan na lang ng kabataan nya at nag asawa ng matanda. Ganito din ang road map ni Liza... sorry, pero mailap sa pinoy ang Holywood Cinderella pathway.
Wala namang deadline ang pagrerebuild sa sarili. Just because di sya naging successful sa mga previous endeavors nya doesn't mean wala na syang karapatan to keep trying. She's young, she made mistakes (we all do) and she will learn from them. Her family life growing up wasn't very ideal so it's even harder for her to navigate now that she's on her own. Give her a break. Di sya masamang tao, she is actually very kind despite everything that she's been through.
Yung ibang commenters dito as if naman ni minsan walang nagawang kamalian or maling decision sa life kung makapag-comment. Hayyssttt... mga ibang tao talaga feeling perfect and holier-than-Thou🙄
Yan na naman yung "holier than thou" eh kayong faney ni Hopia nagpalaki sa ulo nya inaway nyo pa nga yung dating manager at panay twist ng mga sinasabi nya para umayon lang sa gusto nyo. Kayo yung panay palakpak pa din at enjoy lang sa life dapat si Hopia sa Walwal life kahit di na balance ang pamumuhay at kahit hirap na sa Hollywood eh panay pa din kayo push para makapagyabang sa lang comment.
