Love Over Career

Was he distracted? That question was pondered upon when Promising Talent (PT) failed miserably during a rehearsal for a project. PT and Female Contemporary (FC) were cast together as part of their break in the industry. PT and FC are being built to have a career together and the project was the perfect vehicle.
PT, who is not a newbie when it comes to acting, seemed distracted, as he could not get the right emotion required for the scene. The production was delayed due to his inability to let out the apt emotions needed in front of the camera. As the cause of delay, PT tested the patience of the team and resulted in him being screamed at. Subsequently, PT walked out and never returned.
A few days later, PT apologized for his immature action and said his anxiety was triggered. After all, the production team comprised the best in the industry and perfection was demanded. A known fact is that acting is not for the faint-hearted and sensitive, as some directors do not to mince their words nor speak in low tones at someone showing lame acting. PT could have been intimidated. Thus, he said he was too afraid already.
While the excuse seemed acceptable, as mental health is a prime consideration, the grapevine had another theory. Allegedly, PT is seeing Another Talent (AT). PT feels that AT might be jealous when she sees him with FC. To avoid that scenario, PT might have intentionally played being distracted and citing anxiety so he would be removed. Perhaps, love is more powerful than one’s career for PT.

Gong Yoo‘s agency Management SOOP has promptly denied the sudden rumors involving the actor and American pop star, Taylor Swift.
On November 26, Gong Yoo’s label shared on their official website that the actor’s ongoing “dating rumors with Taylor Swift are groundless. They are just rumors.” The agency also revealed in their official statement that the actor “has not travelled internationally recently” due to his busy schedule with his upcoming series, The Silent Sea—further squashing the baseless rumors.
Management SOOP’s response came less than 24 hours following the sudden dating rumors involving Gong Yoo and Taylor Swift. It all began when DeuxMoi, a New York based anonymous gossip account, posted a photo with a tip that alleged that Taylor Swift grabbed lunch with Descendants of the Sun actor, Jin Goo. However, the error was later “corrected,” as DeuxMoi shared it was actually Gong Yoo that Taylor Swift supposedly dined with.

And while the original rumors began as a potential project collaboration between the two, it quickly turned into abrupt dating rumors due to the alleged “coziness” between Gong Yoo and Taylor Swift—despite the singer’s ongoing 5 year relationship with actor, Joe Alwyn.
As the rumors took over the internet like wildfire, Taylor Swift’s current relationship status didn’t seem to matter to different media sites. Dozens of headlines began to pop up online regarding Gong Yoo’s alleged “lunch date” with the American singer.
What originally began as a potential collaboration rumor between Gong Yoo and Taylor Swift abruptly turned into a gossip tornado that spiraled out of control—and all it took was one photo by DeuxMoi.
And Management SOOP was absolutely done with it all. Not only were the dating rumors squashed, but it looks like a potential Gong Yoo feature in a Taylor Swift music video is also not happening. After wreaking absolute havoc online, the anonymous netizen responsible for the DeuxMoi tip has a whole lot of explaining to do.
In related news, Gong Yoo’s upcoming series The Silent Sea is set to make its grand premiere on Netflix, creating excitement in the K-Drama sphere. The series has a star studded cast, including Bae Doo Na, Lee Joon, Squid Game‘s Heo Sung Tae, and more. The highly anticipated sci-fi thriller will mark the Gong Yoo’s first small screen return since his 2016 work, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, adding onto the overall anticipation for the K-Drama.

A surprising, but not shocking, rumor that is only quietly moving around is the alleged interesting stage of a Well-liked Actress (WA). WA and HM have long ended their relationships prior to committing to each other. No one can accuse them of being third parties and ruining relationships. The two were single when they met and hit it off. If WA were indeed carrying their lovechild, only time can tell. These days when actresses are pregnant, they prefer to hide the good news, and others even deny their condition until someone comes up with proof.

Finally, the grapevine is in jubilee as Female Celebrity (FC) seems to have found the man who is making her heart happy. Over the years, the public has watched the triumphs and letdowns of her heart. Allegedly, Accomplished Actor (AA) is the source of FC’s happiness. Like FC, AA has been followed by the public in most of his activities.
