Not Welcome

Social media is a vital influence in creating the image the owner desires for himself/herself. The type of photos or uploads indicates the owner’s character, values, priorities, and interests. What cannot be denied is the importance of social media in conditioning netizens to believe everything that is posted. Thus, many netizens acquire their idea of the social media owner simply based on the posts.

Given the freedom to post anything on social media, gone are the days of keeping private matters away from the public eye. Hence, no one gets spared from being seen when flaunted in social media. When Industry Practitioner (IP) posted photos of a Controversial Child, people started questioning why IP seems to be flaunting. These days, IP has been going around trying to clear up her image that seems to have been affected by her involvements. Nonetheless, IP’ social media seems to project that all is well.

When IP opted to share a landmark event in the life of CC, netizens thought of how CC’s day would turn out. In particular, someone asked if A Sibling (AS) had been invited. IP gave an affirmative answer, and as far as IP is concerned, was fine.

However, the affirmative answer IP gave seemed to have been slammed because someone posted a photo that indicated AS was meeting with certain Family Members (FMs) on the same day as CC’s celebration. FMs were expected to be at CC’s as well as AS. Netizens continued to wonder if FMs and AS were able to see CC. If AS did not go, then the absence is perfectly understandable. However, if FMs did not, then is that a sign that they are not that warm and welcoming towards IP and CC?

  2. The one who tried but can't really clean her image. Compared to ehem, the very proper past, you come across as someone very obnoxious.
