  2. I'd rather suggest you bring your deceased pet to BAI in Visayas Ave., they have Pathology laboratory there and can give you comprehensive examination of what has happened to your pet (blood exam for parasites, virus, elisa). I'm so sorry about your lost.

    1. My heart was broken by reading the first page, seeing how cute Trudis was made it crushed to pieces. IF YOU ARE READING MY COMMENT, condolences to your cute chow-chow. Also, YOU CAN BRING THIS CASE TO PAWS AND THEY WILL HELP YOU. To tell you honestly, some licensed Vets are LENDING their license number to Vet students that didn't pass the board exam. True story, bro! So i hope that the Vet who injected the drug to your dog is not just a student that didn't pass. If the vet is legit, OH NO! He need to surrender his/her license for this malpractice.

    2. 1:18 magsusurender pa yan ng license nya eh di bawas na nman naghihingalong population ng vet sa pinas. 15yrs nako nagaalaga ng pusa si muning, ni di pa ako nakakakita ng vet!

    3. Anon 2.00 e di ipadoctor mo ung muning mo Kung gusto mo mkakita ng vet. Hirap sayo pagpkiramdam mo konti lang vet Di pwede di sila ireklamo. This is a case that the vet is definitely not qualified so dapat lang naman na mwalan sya ng lisensya.

    4. So hwag mag surrender ng license nya
Ang gusto mo? Tuloy lang ang practice kahit may mali?

  10. Such a cute dog. I would not have paid that fake vet P1050 for killing my dog. You should have used the money for the services of a lawyer.

  11. Heartbreaking! I get teary eyed when I read posts like this. My dog, a shih tzu, is a rescued dog. She has bad teeth, had undergone surgery twice, may go blind and has several issues most likely because of her previous owners but she is most loving and cutest dog in our eyes. I pray that your family and your dog will get justice. Hay naku, I think naman even a lay person can tell if a dog is pregnant just by feeling the dog's belly.

    1. I agree. It's not rocket science to know if your dog is pregnant especially if you are a dog lover or more so a Vet. The fact that the brother told him the dog is pregnant, he could have taken it from there. This us negligence. Sue the dog killer!

  13. There are two sides to every story. I think it's fair to hear the side of the vet too. Let's not be too hasty in making judgements.

  14. Sana hinintay nyo na lang mag open ang clinic ng talagang vet nyo. My dog had a hard time laboring during Habagat and we're flooded. She delivered her first pup, 5pm then ayaw na lumabas ng next pup, we can't do anything but pray. Binantayan na lang namin sya ng magdamag. The next day, 9am dinala ko sya sa vet. She underwent CS. She still has 2 pups, the first one is dead then the last one is healthy. And my girl is still alive. Anyway, fault talaga ng vet na pinuntahan nyo. Dapat nakinig sya sa inyo na preggy sya dahil kayo ang parati kasama ng dog.

  16. Yay, i know that clinic! I live in imus lagi ko nakikita yan! I'll share your story in fb to warn people not to take their pets in that clinic.

  17. Cnong vet yan? Tagasan? Hanapin ko yan para turukan ng isang galon na anti poison! Nasayang yung cute at inocenteng aso dahil sa katangahan ng veterenario na yan!

  18. I'm sorry to hear this. But, correct me if I'm wrong, you have no idea that your dog is pregnant? or you don't know the signs of a pregnant dog and when she was about to give birth? If so, then, you should insisted to that DAMN and Crazy Vet that your dog is pregnant so she must have her take a medicine pampahilab ng tyan para mabilis nya mailabas ang mga puppies. Talagang may mga incompetent na mga VET.. I just lost my 2 puppies and it was heartbreaking, I know the feeling..

  20. Heart-breaking story! :(

I went through a similar experience last year. The Animal Clinic here in Zamboanga City deserves to be mentioned in this blog for being incompetent and negligent. Our 10 year-old male shih tzu was brought to this clinic when he was sick and not eating for a few days. After merely glancing at our pet, the "vet" immediately injected something into him. When asked what she injected and what's causing our pet to be sick, the "vet" just shrugged and said "matanda na." We left the clinic yet there was no sign of improvement on our dog's condition. He expired the next day. :( At first we thought maybe it was really too late to save him and that he was really that old. But, we later learned from other pet owners that their pets also did not survive after visiting this clinic when sick. They also said that the "vet" did not give specific reasons/findings as to why their pets are sick. The "vet" also did not make any other tests nor check at their pets before administering the shots.

If you are from Zamboanga, and reading this, please avoid Animal Clinic at all costs. You might not want to go through the same horrible experience that we pet parents had went through.

  22. Ask for full medical report and post it here. Specify wat anti poison drug was given so people will have an idea and prove if its really detrimental to ur pet or not. And to everyone who lost their pets dont put all the blame to the vets. Ask urself first y? Pets dont just die for no reason. Did u bring ur pets to the vet for vaccination? Deworming etc? Having a pet does not limit only to adoring ur dog because of its cuteness. U also need to keep in mind that they need medical attention and that means u have to spend money for them. And dont bring the dog to the vet if its been sick for few days already!

I never said that a CS could have saved the dog and her puppies. As I told the owner, I have no way of knowing since I was not the one who initially checked on her dog. It really is unfair for Dr. Doods, as well as for Animal House, when she made a statement that did not come from us."

  24. These stories are always gut wrenching. Hope justice prevailed. As far as not knowing how to tell if your dog is pregnant, there are plenty of articles such as this one that give good info about it.
