What are Chia Seeds?

Harvested from the salvia Hispanica plant, which is a type of sage in the family of mint, chic seeds are high in Omega-3 fatty acids. It has been the staple food of the ancient Aztec and now they are commercially grown in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico.   9. I love chia seeds! This is included in my daily diet along with Quinoa.I mix this with yogurt, protein shake, salad, etc. Helps a lot with giving you energy and aiding in muscle recovery after a workout.
