You Don't Know Me?

After all the passengers have boarded this international flight, the son of this high-ranking politician spotted many vacant seats in the business class section. He stood up, left his economy seat, and transferred to the business class section.

When one of the flight attendants noticed his move, she politely approached him and requested that he goes back to his seat. He was offended that she called his attention. He spoke to her in a loud voice, saying "You don't know me? I am the son of . . . . . . . .  I have the right to choose where I want to sit."

The stewardess did not want any trouble so she went to the cockpit and told the pilot about the incident. A few minutes later, the pilot came out and approached this passenger. He told him that the plane will not depart unless everyone is properly seated. At that moment, he realized that the pilot was darn serious. He swallowed his pride, stood up and walked back to his assigned seat.

Do you know who is this passenger? Apart from his parents being politicians, he was also recently elected into office.

  1. Is that guy serious? If he's gonna make yabang he's a son of a politician, he should have at least back his kayabangan up. He just made a fool out of himself. Haha

  2. ANO BA?! i really dont get this people! if you are a famous celebrity or son of a powerful politician chances are you have money! so if gusto pala nila mag business class why dont they just buy business class ticket instead of assuming they will get a free upgrade just because in their head they are "somebody"! I just find this annoyingly arrogant and stupid, Sorry!

  3. The last comment killed it. Haha. I think I know who.

What's the deal with this celebrities/politicians claiming seats in the business class? Is this such a trend? LOL!

  4. Hi Mike,

Is he the younger or older son? If the older, I'm not surprised. He's a jack*ss. In the few times I've seen him in malls, he walks around as if he owns the place.

  5. nooneenooneenoo - I think it's the younger, based on the clue.

  6. i think he's name starts with letter J? am i right? i didn't know he's like that. duh?! i'm also a flight attendant, passengers have to sit on their respective seats talaga, because that's for the weight and balance of the aircraft during take-off and landing. there's nothing wrong naman if you'll ask permission with the FA's na you'll transfer to another seat. BUT, switching to business class from economy? that's too much. tsk! or if you're willing to upgrade and pay for add'l fees then that would be ok. =)

  7. I know who this is na! ang yaman yaman nila why didnt he just buy business class ticket? He can even afford first class!! i saw him shopping in a high-end department store in makati the day after election he was with his bodyguards. i distinctly remember him buying a very expensive D&G leather jacket and some pants and shirts. HIS BODYGUARDS PAID IN CASH!!!! the jacket alone is 6 digits na! Victory shopping spree, since they sweep the election?

  8. One time I was on the same CX flight from Hong Kong to Manila with Jude Estrada and he was in the economy section. He did not have any issues about it. In fact, he was even very friendly with the other passengers.

  9. So this is a trend, huh? People thinking they can get upgrades on their seats based on their/their parents' name? Haaaaay.

Although the paparazzi coverage in the US is sometimes horrendous, it's things like this that made me wish we had a Philippine version of TMZ. So that things like this get publicized and people get to see what their favorite actor/actress/politician is really like.

  10. They have amassed so much wealth from winning political posts in their province for 3 or 4 generations. The actress/politician mom is known to have an angelic face but it is all just a front as she has a major attitude problem - guess the young father son who is an actor turned politician took after the mom in that aspect. Tsk tsk. I know so many people from affluent families who earn their money the honest and decent way - they do not carry their weight around. Shame on these actors / politicians who shop till they drop when in fact more than 90% of the Filipinos do not eat 3 times a day! Shame! Shame! Shame!

  11. who ever he is, a passenger is still just another passenger whatever his status is and whoever he is. he is just another life to save in the event of an emergency. and the nerve of him to raise his voice at an attendant! passengers as such are categorized as unruly pax and should be immediately offloaded! if not, a special glass of water seems just about fine ;)

*remember to be nice to the people who serve you your food ;)

  36. Why do these people think an airplane is like a bus that you can transfer from one seat to the next at will?

I've witnessed the humiliation of some passengers on a plane who move from their assigned seats to "premium" seats only to be told off by an FA or, worse, announced on the PA that they have to move to their assigned seats, as premium seats have extra charges that should've been paid at the ticket counter. Ah the walk of shame...

As for this lawmakers' son, he's an ignorant idiot with an unbelievable case of self-entitlement. But I think we're even bigger idiots for electing their ilk into office.

  37. B is the eldest as per wiki

  43. @dontaskmetosmile

I agree with your TMZ suggestion. We should have something EXACTLY like that. I think QTV has a show like it, called Tweetbiz. But it isn't as smart-aleck and rowdy as TMZ. :p

And I was able to guess via the comments! Hehe, ang sarap awitan yung taong yan ng isang kanta mula sa APO Hiking Society :)

  44. no he's not. the eldest son is B. i know the guy, he's really nice and down to earth.

    ReplyDelete
  45. No, B is the oldest son. Anyway, J goes gaga over pretty single moms. He once dated or is still dating a single mom of two (different dads) who was involved with a carnapping mastermind.

  46. ever since naging strict na yung pag comment dito, di ko na mahulaan kung sino yung nasa blind item. hahahaha.

  47. their family is from a town in my Province (our province is not far from Metro Manila) and they are very, very rich. He was a kid when he had a kid. I hope I got that right. :D

  48. Got it! OMG hahahahah good one revealed! Their mom was my hs batchmate. She's nice, but then of course we're not close. Who knows what politics (and showbiz) does to people.

  49. The father is aiming for higher office in the next elections. Let us pray hard that he will not win. So help us God....

    ReplyDelete
  50. i know him, eww talaga ang attitude nyan even the mom, buti nlng the pretty girl turned him down...kahit daw sa shooting ng film or tv show lakas sumigaw ng guy na to...

    ReplyDelete
  51. The son "J" wanted to enroll in UP years ago to take up film. So the dad called a former cabinet member who graduated from UP to help "J" get a shot of, at least, taking the UPCAT. Former cabinet member pulled some strings and "J" took the UPCAT.

"J" never made it to UP.

  60. too late for a reaction... pero masasabi k lang kasalanan yan ng Philippine Airlines kc lagi nila ina-upgrade yung mga politicians and celebrities to business class kaya ayan economy ticket lang binibili...sorry di sila uubra sa ibang airline... flown w/ a senator recently ayun dun lang sila ng anak and old mother nya sa economy, pero infairnes binlock nman yung 2 rows of seat for them..and binigyan sila ng blankets, wines and nuts from business class. goodluck skanila kc balita ko after ng 9 hrs flight namin n yun eh tra-transfer p sila to New York which is another 13hrs flight...
