Blood is thicker than water doesn’t mean family gets a free pass from accountability. Malaki na ang nawala sa business, may employees pang nadadamay, so this isn’t simply an away magkapatid na dapat palampasin for the sake of family.
DeleteKung walang accountability, what’s stopping it from happening again? Aside from the business money allegedly being taken, may allegations pa that Kim’s properties were being sold without her knowledge. She has every right to protect herself and what she worked for. Being family is not an excuse to avoid accountability.
Papa Chiu was there. Nahihirapan din siguro ang papa nila sa sitwasyon nilang magkapatid. Hay ang lungkot nito para sa pamilya nila but justice must be served.

malamang nasanay silang mabait at generous si Kim to a fault, kaya naging mindset na somehow, she’ll always fix things and eventually mababawi rin niya dahil may showbiz career pa siya.
DeleteBut that’s not fair. For almost two decades, Kim has carried and helped the family far beyond what should have been expected of her. Hindi porke’t kumikita pa siya ngayon, unlimited na ang resources niya to absorb everyone else’s losses. And there are legal obligations involving money taken by Lakam, those don’t simply disappear because Kim is still working. Family should mean accountability, not treating one person as the family’s endless safety net.
People don’t understand na hindi lang si Kim ang may ari ng business. She has other people’s money invested sa business and if there’s no accountability sa nangyari, si Kim ang mananagot hindi naman si Lakam dahil kay Kim nakapangalan ang business.

If Kim didn’t pursue the case in courts, do you think Lakam would stop? Yung theft that was charged was related to her business pero personal theft, hindi naman na count. We only knew bout the business theft pero hindi yung total na nawala kay Kim.
