Pageantry is so last century. Imo, dapat tanggalin na lahat ng pageant. Bakit ano bang magandang naidudulot nito sa atin? It endorses superficial beauty, yun lang naman. Sure may mga matatalino at magagaling na contestant with a substantial cause, but they also have to be beautiful, sexy, nice to look at. At yun mismo ang nakakapagpababa ng self esteem ng ibang mga babaeng magagaling but not that physically attractive in society’s standards. If only we invested all our pageant time in education and sports…
