  2. The tournament now basically a irrelevant in the tour, like it's happening the same time as the second week of the French Open. Pero syempre Penoys will act like she won a grand slam or something.

    1. 1:46 the f*ck is wrong with you? Why are you diminishing her accomplishment? It may not be a grand slam title but a title nonetheless. She worked hard for it and bested all the other athletes. Kung natalo sya for sure mas malala pa insult mo sa kanya. Are you ever happy for anyone or ganyan na talaga kapait ang buhay mo?

    2. Why does someone else’s win bother you? Pinoys are celebrating. A win is a win. Cry about it.

You are what's wrong in this world and your country. People like you ang mga dahilan bakit di umaasenso ang bansa mo. Be Kind, It's free.

    5. Basura ugali yarn?

    6. It's an accomplishment. It should be celebrated. If you don't want to celebrate her, just move along. No need to undermine her worth.

    7. 146 toxic ka to the core. Why can't you just be happy that your kababayan actually won in a competition.

    10. If you even watch tennis, ang daming seeded ang naglaglagan sa French Open this year. Pegula, Rybakina, Fernandez etc. even sa men’s singles. Meron ngang surprise finalist sa French open who did not expect to be in the finals. Bottomline, and point is bilog ang bola. Stilll, you can’t ignore the fact that these names worked hard and started from the bottom before they get to where they are now, big or small events man yun and that includes Alex Eala. The ITF, WTA, ATF ay dominated by, sa totoo lang mga countries in Europe, North America, Czechs, Russian, so si Alex naligaw sa international tennis kasi nagpa cute? Hirap mo naman pasayahin 1:46AM

    11. How can it not be relevant? It's part of WTA and it entitles the winner points to increase her ranking.

    13. @1:46 You're the irrelevant one, it's her achievement not yours! STUPID!

  4. Sorry, pero there’s still an ongoing Grand Slam event. This tournament is not relevant in the grand scheme of things.

  6. Looks like she’s fit to grass and hard courts even she was trained in Spain known for clay courts. Hope she can slide and slice in clay court like Nadal. She’s following footsteps of Steffi Graf and Pete Sampras, excellent in grass and hard courts, sucks in clay.

But she is only 21, and hoping one day makasungkit sya.

    3. taas ng expectation mo ante! i am not sure if you are really a follower of tennis. JPEG has been in the tennis world and she is already in her 30's but she still hasn't won Grand slam yet. Victory belongs only to the most tenacious. kaya before ka kumuda, mag isip muna

  10. Tignan nyo ang ranked ni Maja Chwalinkska from 114 to 21 in just days dahil she made it to the French Open final. Naungusan pa nya si Alex Eala. Like it or not, kung gusto tumatak ni AE ang pangalan nya sa mundo ng tennis, she needs to at least win ng isang grand slam. Too much pressuer nga lang. I think mauuwi din ito ng katulad kay Canadian Eugenie Bouchard, na reached nya ang Wimbledon final, na hyped, then wala lang. But good luck Alex. We are rooting for you kiddo!

    1. How about win a couple of matches at slam level first? Her best result was reaching Round 2. Di maganda ang record niya when it comes to the most important tournaments sa totoo lang. She needs better preparation for slam events, dun dapat siya mag-concentrate. If she reaches the second week of any of the four majors, yun yung talagang masasabing she achieved something noteworthy in her career.

    2. ante it's a climb and years of hardwork! for now, let's celebrate her wins whether it is small or big. susme na predict mo na destiny nya agad agad. madam auring peg?

    3. don't flatter yourself! even Sascha only won slam yesterday even so he won a lot. ATP finals, ATP 1000 to name of few. don't pressure the kid who is just started. let her enjoy the journey. she is still young. exposure is more important

    4. may bawi ka pa na "we're rooting for you kiddo" matapos mo idown ng todo. ahahaha. nasa fp tyo anonymous ka nmn d naten need magplastikan

    5. Sige, keep bashing on me , pero isipin nyo, she needs to reach kahit isang single grand slam.

    6. The thing with tennis -you cant take time for too long- cause as you get older the more it is a disadvantage - cause as you age you becone slower- physically and with the reflexes.

  13. Bitter si anti kasi not an iota of talent and achievement you’ve become compared to a bright future champion like Alex. Dami inggitera ampapangit ng puso and fez.

  14. Grabe na tong mga bashers ni Alex. Don’t dismiss her achievements. Napakahirap ng ginagawa niya. Tong mga bashers akala mo marunong mag tennis or malamang, di pa nakahawak ng tennis racket or maglaro man lang ng racket sports.

  15. Congratulations girl.

  16. The ranked tennis players are all good kaya nga sila nasa ranking, they all get better in time and they all reach their best moment at one point in their career. It’s a competirion, some may qualify, some have to joint little leagues before they can even qualify and be recognized. Alex was a 2022 US OpenJunior grand slam champion hanggang sa magkaron ng place sa WTA ranking as a professional.
