Tenant Uncertainty

Changes can no longer be ignored as a business entity needs to respond to the times. Ordinary shoppers only see the physical manifestations, such as name changes, stores closing, new ones opening. They have no idea of how store owners have much to think about other than daily sales.

According to rumors, present tenants of a hometown complex are living in uncertainty. Because of a change in management, which is a normal occurrence in business, tenants are allegedly wondering if they will have an important form of security soon. Allegedly, lease contracts have yet to be given.

Current tenants are left to wonder if they will be presented rental terms under the new management. Another speculation is that the lack of binding terms is a way of sending the message to just close down operations. Many shops have indeed shut down or already moved to other locations.

The long-term tenants do not want to be caught off-guard as they do need to plan. If they suddenly will be asked to leave their present location, they need to inform their loyal clients and employees and hope they will continue their patronage and service wherever they will go.

Hopefully that the lease contract issue involving the new management and current tenants will be resolved as of press time.
