America doesnt care about Oscars anymore
ReplyDeleteGreat decision!
ReplyDeleteAng shugal pa. Juiceko
DeleteBecause network tv is a dying industry.
ReplyDeletePeople are moving on to streaming.
Pag YouTube, sa Oscars org. lahat ang kita, walang share si tv network.
And they will continue to earn habang may nonood pa rin online.
True! That is happening here in the US and GLOBALLY! TV is DEAD! Advertisers and Brands have moved to online!

DeleteOscars = Harvey Weinstein
ReplyDeleteThe Oscars died years ago :D :D :D
ReplyDeleteTV is dying na...MTV nga nagpaalam na din eh... konting years pa lahat nsa streaming platforms na lahat
ReplyDeleteNobody really watches traditional TV anymore. Even my own relatives my 80 year old mother my aunts and friends diyan sa Pinas are now watching almost exclusively on YouTube. That shift says everything. Television as we once knew it is no longer where people live their daily lives.
ReplyDeleteThat is why celebrities who refuse to adapt to YouTube and digital streaming risk fading into irrelevance. Audiences have already moved on. Attention has shifted. The platform has changed. If you are not where the viewers are you eventually disappear from the conversation!
Bakit hindi na lang 2057?
ReplyDeletehahahaha! kaya nga excited pa naman ako tapos sa 2029 pa pala!?
DeleteThe oscars have lost around 75% to 80% of it's viewership since 2015. It has become nothing but a virtue signalling platform with movies that lecture rather than entertainment and with celebs that pontificate. Hence, because the viewership problem, networks both freetv and cable have given up carrying it . The last ratings was dismal that people actually turned to watch the hallmark channel more.
ReplyDeleteThe Oscars are boring to watch in any platform.
ReplyDeleteMas enjoy pa ko sa golden globe especially with ricky gervais as host!!!
