@ctvnews New South Wales police have confirmed that the two suspects in the Bondi Beach shooting travelled to the Philippines last month, before the attack. “I can confirm that they did travel to the Philippines. The reasons why they went to the Philippines and the purpose of that and where they went when they were there is under investigation at the moment,” New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said during a press conference Tuesday. Lanyon said he was not aware of any security alert being triggered when the pair travelled to the Philippines. “I don’t believe it was an intelligence failure at all,” he said.
