Kundi, nasa integrity and prinsipyo. GL is a legend w/ pure soul. SY is a greedy and egoistic engineer.
10: 08 DDS! Don’t be clueless. She never really had Duterte’s full support. That appointment was mostly for show. Alam naman natin lahat, panahon niya halos one man rule. If he really wanted her to stay, she would have. So let’s not romanticize that era as if it was some noble fight against the mining giants. It wasn’t!!!
5:04 Oh please, stop embarrassing yourself. Duterte appointing Gina Lopez was political theatre. He hated the Lopez family, shut down ABS CBN, and let his allies in the Commission on Appointments kill her confirmation after mining tycoons paid their way. If he really wanted her to stay, no one could have stopped him. Keep worshipping your Tatay Digong while rotting in the corruption and chaos he left behind!
8:57 He only hated abs dahil sa video campaign against him, remember? Election time pa lang, puro paninira na ang abs kay duterte in favor sa manok ng abs for the president. And can you blame him? Tsaka fyi, paso na ang prangkisa ng abs during his tenure, sa halip na tutulong si duterte, he lift a finger sa pagpaso ng prangkisa, dahil na rin sa black propaganda ng abs against him. And Maam Gina was so ill, until she died, so Duterte has no cboice but to let her go. Maski si Maam Lopez, walang paki jan sa abs mo dahil nasa kamay ng mga pamangkin nila and all. Wag dagdag bawas sa mga claim mo
"When exposing a crime is treated as committing a crime, you are being ruled by criminals." --Edward Snowden :D :D :D But then again, penoys will always do penoy things ;) ;) ;) Papa dutz replaced her with a more "agreeable" retired general and former chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) :) :) :)
We don’t always agree, Smiley but this time you nailed it.😅That Snowden quote hits like a sledgehammer. When truth tellers get punished and thieves get rewarded, you’re not in a democracy, you’re in a syndicate with a national anthem. Gina Lopez wasn’t replaced because she failed, she was replaced because she threatened the business of the untouchables. And of course, Tatay Digong brought in a retired general to babysit the crooks and call it leadership. Classic move, brilliance silenced, bootlickers promoted!🤡👏👏👏
Kudos to the late GL. But, we don’t need the daughter of the rich and powerful to preach what every Filipino already knows. Taking care of our environment is basic common sense. It’s been taught in schools since grade school, plastered all over the internet, and repeated endlessly. The real problem isn’t lack of awareness, it’s corruption. That’s the disease eating this country alive. Fix that and half our problems vanish overnight! The bigger question is do we Filipinos really have the courage and conviction to fight it head on and go the distance? Or hanggang postings at internet lang?
Everything you said is right, its common sense but is not the reality not only in Philippines but also in other countries. We all know environment isnt top priority of every govt. Its part of consideration among other things but economics is at the top and sad to say whatever generates more money wins. Most of the time the environment is compromised for industries that will bring more economic progress and thats proven, thats why we need people who are headstrong, has influence and would stand by their convictions no matter what and do their job and be protective as head of their department. Someone like GL she is one of a kind.
2:55 gurl, common sense is no longer common since the 90s.
As if wala na karapatan mag voice out pag rich and powerful. Di hamak na marami yan naambag kesa sayo. Just appreciate the efforts dear regardless of status in life!
no, we need rich , elite class people like GL. May malasakit sa mahihirap. Sabi nga sa spiderman. With great power comes great responsibility.
@6:41 I understand your point, and you’re absolutely right that economics often takes priority over the environment. That’s the sad reality everywhere, even more so in a corrupt third world country like ours where most Pinoys lack proper housing, and garbage and waste systems barely exist. Worse, many corrupt politicians connive with greedy businessmen for money instead of protecting the people and the environment from destructive projects. But that’s exactly why my point goes deeper. Awareness and conviction aren’t the problem, CORRUPTION is. You can have someone as strong and principled as GL, but if the system is built on greed and corruption, she’s fighting a losing battle from day one. That’s the real cancer, a rotten system where money talks louder than integrity. GL was rare, but the FACT that she was removed for doing what’s right proves the point. Until corruption is crushed, even the best people get chewed up by the machine!
Boom..someone send this to the sellout slater effin young.

ReplyDeleteDu30 appointed her. And "maybe" he replaced her coz she got sick. Coz she passed away in 2019. Just maybe.
DeleteShe was not replaced, if you did your research hindi siya pinalusot ng CA, PRRD wants her to lead but she has to be approved, gets mo?

She's born rich and brave to fight the richer and more powerful people but natalo sya
Delete2:55 the difference between GL and you is that she took actions. And she really fought for it.
