11:44 She may not have a M.S. but what she has is notches higher than learning from the books. Don’t get me wrong I have both my B.S. and S. from UP. Trivia: BS as we know is Bullsh*t; MS is more sh*t ; PhD is piled high and deeper; This was a joke in my hubby’s grad school in the US. Di po nagyayabang. Just sayin that di nya kelangan nang MS. She is qualified to teach. Alam nya yung ganito dapat matutunan.
Being a Bachelor’s degree holder is the minimum educational attainment needed to become a teacher/instructor and she is. I think ang may requirement ng Master’s and/or PhD in most colleges/universities ay ang higher ranking roles like Associate Professor, Professor, Dean etc.
In fairness kay Hidilyn, sinseryoso pa rin nya ang pag-aaral. I remember she was being offered scholarships (even before becoming our first Olympic gold medalist) and yung iba honestly ay wag di makatapos ka lang (diploma mills, easier requirements). Pero she really chose the school and the course she wants. Kahit nga yung school na yun was offering her a course perceived as ‘easier’ (fewer units, requirements and the like), but she insisted on her course.
And sis, the things I said and her becoming an Olympian make her clearly qualified to teach - check sa education and check rin sa practical application. Kung student pa rin ako na interesado sa weightlifting, I’d definitely enroll in her class at magiging tiwala ako sa curriculum that she co-created. 😊
This comment is so toxic and ignorant. Human kinetics really benefit from hands on learning and demonstration. She is teaching weightlifting not calculus. I’m saying this as someone who has a BS and doctorate in the same field from a US university. Some days it feels like all I got from school are student loans…
Napaka-arogante naman ng "so" mo, Anon 12:43AM. The commenter was just saying he/she was not familiar with the PE classes before and was asking if they offered weighlifting before. No need to be rude.
Ooooo!!!!! Great opportunity for the students! When I was a freshman iska, I failed my PE class diyan - I was very bad at table tennis. 😅 buti na lang may tap dancing class at nakabawi ako.
Penas, the connection capital of the world :D :D :D Does she even have a masters degree in Human Kinetics? ;) ;) ;)
ReplyDeleteQualified naman siya. Of all disciplines, this seems to benefit a hands-on approach instead of just theory based learning.
DeleteHindi naman niya nagtuturo ng physics or medicine. Weightlifting and tinuturo niya.
Sige pa, hatak pa, lumalabas ng crabby nature mo
Huy! Gold medalist sya ng Olympics. Yung experience nya at discipline combined more than enough sa may Masters degree in Human Kinetics.
Delete11:44 she is an Olympian . She applied human kinetics studies to herself. Malamang may knowledge sya
