i can afford that as well, but I am not going to buy that. pag sinuot mo yan di naman malalaman ng mga to na tig 2k yan. daming magagandang ganyan sa quiapo at divisoria. gawa ba sa ginto ang tela nya? di bale na. yung 2k ko maraming mabibiling bagay.

But if you look at the bigger picture, it's not an issue of whether you can afford it or not. She's obviously selling it to rich people under the pretense na it's promoting Filipino culture and at the same time helping local communities/NGOs in the Philippines when the reality is singkwenta pesos lang naman ang mapupunta sa donasyon for every item na mabebenta. Pero if yung raw materials naman ay galing mismo dito sa atin at yung mga worker ay Pinoy at kumikita sila ng tama, then walang problema.
Sp sino ba target nya since she used the name BAHAY KUBO to promote her brand? Alam kya nya na bahay kubo means simpleng bahay - a nipa hut actually - where low class Phil citizens lived? How can you connect that to her overly expensive items na di naman kilala? DTI should look at this matter seriously.
Funny that they are saying na target market is “rich” pero gamit na gamit ang “bahay kubo” which is associated with a simple pinoy life haha! How contradicting! Auntie naman, tsismisan site kasi ito. Some people would rather talk about showbiz instead of politics. Ibigay mo na samen yun. Kung sagad sa buto talaga yang pagiging rebolusyonaryo mo, ilagay mo sa tamang lugar yang paninindigan mo. Sumali ka sa mga grupo o alyansa against the government, sumama ka sa mga rally at protesta. Gawin mo kung anong gusto mo at hindi ka namin pipigilan. Pero yang ganyang energy at dedication mo, walang lugar dito yan.
