    6. Duh? Napaka impokrita mo.

    7. i can afford that as well, but I am not going to buy that. pag sinuot mo yan di naman malalaman ng mga to na tig 2k yan. daming magagandang ganyan sa quiapo at divisoria. gawa ba sa ginto ang tela nya? di bale na. yung 2k ko maraming mabibiling bagay.

      Delete
    8. I sure can afford that. but why buy that if it's the same scrunchie sa shoppee and does the same thing?? utak mo ha

      Delete
    9. Gurl I can buy a set or 2 but I would rather buy the 50 pesos scrunchies sa bangketa ang give livelihood sa totoong gumagawa at nagbebenta nito. Laking insult ng $1 donation sa ₱2000/pc price.

Try again!

    11. Afford ko nman and yet this is still insulting. Like, kung gusto ko tlaga makatulong sa Pinas by buying local goods, eh punta and buy directly na lng ako sa mismong source than buying this sh*t bahay kubo store.

    12. 12:29 and 12:50 idol. May gumagamit p b scrunchie ngaun? Naaalala k dati free lng yan pg bumili ka shampoo at 30 pesos lng isa

    1. Kahit designer pa yan, a piece of cloth at elastic band. Kahit ikaw makakagawa niyan. Gamitin ang brain cells, sayang naman.

    2. So kung Chanel yan bibilhin mo kahit nasa 5-8k ang price? I mean what’s the point kung isisipin naman ng ibang tao na nabili mo yan sa Divisoria? Ang sakit lang sa dibdib di ba? Hehe

    3. I bought lots of it because i can afford.

    4. sobrang mura nyan sa Amazon or Shein, wholesale pa and velvet and silk at marami na for under $10

Ano yan bahay kubo? Ano kunek? Parang masabi lang na unique or something. Nakakasira sa image ng mga Pilipino.

    1. Actually I did a quick search about her business. She was clearly using her roots to promote her business. She’s Fil-British based in NY.

    2. Pano nasira image ng pilipino nyan?

      Delete
    3. 8:21 Bahay Kubo pangalan eh tapos overpriced. Parang abusado mga Pilipino sa pera.

  4. T@nga lang bibili niyan. Ginawa niyo pang issue. Wala namang bibili niyan

  5. Magkano lang gumawa ng scrunchie at bentahan. Kapal naman ng mukha ni seller.

  6. Is this made of pure silk?

    ReplyDelete

    1. 11:34 pure scrap cloth

    2. Made up of good quality silk but still overpriced

    4. According to the product description: The color material for the gold colored scrunchies was mixed with gold dust; platinum for the silver colored scrunchie; ivory for thw white one; and copper for the brown/copper colored scrunchie. As such and because of the intricate and painstaking effort in the design and production which is hand made by art courtesans in China and Southeast Asia they come up with these products that will satisfy the upper fashonistas around the world.

    1. 11:38 if LV ok lang na mahal kasi luxury brand name.

    2. 12:22 remove that brand name and makikita mo n their products re really not worth it. ✌️✌️

  8. Yung gamit na gamit niya ang Filipino culture and the local groups pero ang donation is P50 from a P2,000 worth item na mabebenta? I'd rather buy directly from a local artisan.

    ReplyDelete
Hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  10. anong meron bakit mahal?? serious question.. if its from well known luxury brand maintindihan ko pa kasi you are buying the brand name. eh ito hindi naman kilalang brand so it must be the materials used.

    1. Pangpondo ng luho lang ng owner yan. Narc n nga si ate owner, user and pinoy baiter pa. Kasuka

  11. Kung namamahalan kayo, obviously you’re not the target market. Though nothing special sa tinda nya, might as well, sell it sa international market mas magkaka chance sha.

    ReplyDelete

    1. But if you look at the bigger picture, it's not an issue of whether you can afford it or not. She's obviously selling it to rich people under the pretense na it's promoting Filipino culture and at the same time helping local communities/NGOs in the Philippines when the reality is singkwenta pesos lang naman ang mapupunta sa donasyon for every item na mabebenta. Pero if yung raw materials naman ay galing mismo dito sa atin at yung mga worker ay Pinoy at kumikita sila ng tama, then walang problema.

    2. 1:38 THIS!!!

      Delete
    3. Sp sino ba target nya since she used the name BAHAY KUBO to promote her brand? Alam kya nya na bahay kubo means simpleng bahay - a nipa hut actually - where low class Phil citizens lived? How can you connect that to her overly expensive items na di naman kilala? DTI should look at this matter seriously.

  12. I understand if its handmade medyo mataas presyo. But these scrunchies?? Hala, taz bahay kubo ang brand eme ? Wala sanang bumili sayo!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Correct its just a scrunchies!!! Tpos 50 pesos lang ang donation out of 2k!? Im really not a target market if this bs dahil hndi ako st*pida

      Delete
  13. Funny that they are saying na target market is “rich” pero gamit na gamit ang “bahay kubo” which is associated with a simple pinoy life haha! How contradicting!

  14. Pwede ata yan isanla eh

    ReplyDelete
  15. Catering to the higher class mga Alta. Kung me social climber, ito naman under the pretense na nag papadown to earth sila to use locally made/sourced item na mukhang cheap only but ridiculously priced since their target market can afford.

    1. Auntie naman, tsismisan site kasi ito. Some people would rather talk about showbiz instead of politics.

  19. I can buy the same scrunchies from Amazon for 14 bucks and 3 pcs na silk na un handmade din and good quality. Heheheh

  20. Yes AND? A lot of designer items cost less than $10 to make but people buy them for more than $1000
