Former MMDA Chief Bayani Fernando passes away due to an accident. Allegedly, the former Marikina mayor fell off the roof.

Fernando served as Marikina mayor from 1992 to 2001, DPWH Secretary under GMA's administration, and representative for Marikina's 1st congressional district from 2016 to 2022. In 2010, he ran but lost in the vice-presidency race.

Fashion PULIS expresses condolences to the family of the late Bayani Fernando.

Marikina is really a clean city.

    3. 2:39 when it's your time, it's your time. that's why, every day is precious. you never know when your time is up. he was given 77 years to do good things. something to be thankful for. RIP Mr. Fernando.

  5. Rest in Peace! Mayor Bf, it's done.
You're such a significant figure in Marikina, my former Hometown. Even becoming one of the prominent cities in NCR during his helm as Marikina City Mayor.

  7. Noooooo! I really admire this man. I grew up in Marikina. Yan ang palaging nangungunsensya sa akin whenever I am tempted to throw something at walang basurahan. He really was a man of service and he knew that discipline would really make a huge difference. Sad...

    1. Lol. I wouldnt be proud of a place a known as bahain. Pwede naman kasi maayos thru proper drainage etc.
Nothing against kay Bayani pero im talking about the baha na di masolusyunan.

    2. 11.41 nakita mo na ba yung floodgates?

      Delete
    3. 11:41 there was a result of a study that said, many areas in Marikina are not livable. The land are good for agriculture but not habitable due to the kind of soil that is really prone to flooding.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. Why do I need to see the floodgates eh halos naman yearly nasa balita na baha sa Marikina.

      Delete
    6. At 11:41, lol ka dyan have you seen the baha in the whole metro? At least in Marikina you know the floods came from the highlands overflowing the river and not from the trash blocking the drainage.

      Delete
    7. 11:41 Good for you you weren't from a City na bahain pero shame on you na dahil lang sa baha hindi ka magiging proud sa sarili mong lugar. I am from Malabon na "dating bahain" and I am proud I grew up and still living in Malabon for 41yrs.

      Delete
    8. 11:41 bahain due to its natural geography and still it's more livable than most cities in the Philippines due to good governance. Kung inggit, pikit.

      Delete
    9. 11:41 you may have a point but is it necessary and kind on a dead person’s post? Lol mo mukha mo.

      Delete
    10. @11:41 Marikina, Miami, Venice, the Netherlands, etc..

    1. Because the pretend Mayor is also a good Mayor.

Pero evident naman ang effort nya talaga to do his job.
