  1. Nice to see Bruno again in the Philippines
Sad to say some of the half blooded foreign Filipinos only recognize that they have a Filipino blood is when they have something to gain from it.

    1. Ngayon na lang. Dati halos di nya masabi na may Filipino blood sya.

    2. So you want him to go back to the Philippines and serve the poor? Just to be Filipino enough for you? Maybe he doesn’t actually go to the Philippines cause he’s busy and doesn’t actually resonate with the culture since he wasn’t born in the Philippines. Don’t be such a crybaby cause people like us have lives outside of the Philippines. I personally can’t imagine living there. Specifically because of people like you.

    3. 12:31pinagsasasabi mo?

    4. If I remember correctly, yung earnings or part of ng earlier concerts niya dito, he donated sa Bantay Bata Foundation.

Kasi the talent speaks for itself, di na need ng gimik pa.

    7. Kahit noong buhay pa mama nya sinabi nya na proud sya bilang half Pinoy at hindi pa sya ganun kasikat nun. Eme Karin eh

      Delete
    8. Nuon pa nya sinasabing pinoy sya no. Nung bagong-bago palang syang sumikat, nung B.O.B. collab na una syang napansin.

Even back in hawaii alam sa community. Huwag kang hilo.

    10. wow nagmagaling ka na naman 11:39 he is proud of his roots matagal na, alam ng majority ng fans na Filipina ang mother nya. tagal na akong fan ni Bruno kaya alam ko yan at naiintindihan ko din kung westernized sya dahil don naman sya lumaki kaya unfair din na magexpect ka too much from him.

    11. May old videos sila saka mom niya nung umuwi dito proud sila na Filipino sila. Yung mom niya bata pa lang 6yrs old nasa US na pero connected pa rin sa Filipino roots niya nakakatuwa panoorin ung vid na yun

    12. 11:39 maybe u are not a real fan kaya d mo alam na proud pinoy siya and he loves his Filipino mom so much na nung mawala mom nya sobra siyang naapektohan. Kya di nya makakalimutan ang Filipino roots nya. Raised by Filipino mom. Lets stop making issues please. More importantly he excels in what he does. Very talented regardless kalahi natin or hindi lets just celebrate we have Bruno Mars in this lifetime…giving us the best entertainment.

  3. I'm proud of Bruno. He never skipped Philippines every world tour niya. And he recognized his roots, Puerto Rican and Filipino. pero yun ibang kapatid niya di nila recognized pagka Filipino heritage nila.

    1. dont take it against the younger sibs, ganon talaga they didnt grow up in the philippines at baka may iba pang reasons. one day they will reconnect.

Paano kung hindi naman nila kinalakihan ang kultura at tradisyon ng Pilipino, do you still expect them to recognize it? And most importantly, kailangan ba present sa family reunion every year? I don't blame them if they stopped attending kasi the only reason why they go is because of their mother. Walang mali kung hindi na sila pumunta after their mom passed away.

  4. Sa first SNL appearance he embraced his Filipino heritage with his opening monologue. Nabili na ang tickets, the venue was filled to the gills, hindi niya kailangan i-promote and show niya, he was just happy and grateful for the reception that he got.

  5. His mother is actually a Cebuana. When he was not yet popular, I saw him performing at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel.

    2. This..... tsaka hindi siya mahilig magpa interview malalaman mo na lang pag nandyan ulit siya kasi may sumisikat nanaman siyang kanta. i really love this guy napaka professional sana ganyan din yung ibang western celebrity, hindi personal issues ang binebenta tapos biglang may ilalabas palang kanta. πŸ˜‚

    1. Totoo.
