  2. For a luggage that expensive it should only be a carry-on and not checked in.
Hayaan na lang natin sa mumurahin pero durable na luggage ang check in kasi you cannot control talaga how they handle the luggages. This is a fact sa lahat ng airports all over the globe.

  4. I don’t understand bakit kasi need pa ganyan kamahal ang luggage.
Hindi po ako mahirap, I can afford that but I always choose yung practical especially check in yan.

    2. 10:52 ang totoong afford di na kelangan magsabi ng ‘I can afford that, but…’ kase it just shows hindi afford talaga. And yes, I have 4 of that brand. Bumili lang ako without saying afford ko naman but.

    3. First- I have a friend na nag work sa Changi Airport as check in agent sa airline counter. She told me na di advisable ang luxury luggages kasi daw maloloka ka at hinahagis hagis lang ang mga ito. Saka kahit anung tibay pa ng luggage mo- kung babarubalin din naman, masisira din in the end.

    2. 11:11 di ka ba nagbabayad ng insurance when flying? Kasi if babasahin mo yun, saklaw ng binayaran mo pag may damaged sa luggage mo. Sayang din yun. Sana nag-claim ka.

      Delete
    3. 2:17 wala akong insurance that time kaya pag uwi this summer bumili na ko agad ng travel insurance. I learned my lesson.

      Delete
    4. 2:17 the thing is, insurance is an option, not a must. handling luggage with care is literally a part of their customer care.

      Delete
    5. 11:11, I admire your humbleness🙂

      Delete
    6. 4:55 nasasayangan lang ata si 2:17 just in case nagbayad sya ng travel insurance tapos di nagclaim si 11:11. Also, kahit pa optional pa yan. Always pay your travel insurance.

  10. Actually kahit mahal yung Rimowa marami akong kilala nagka issue dyan like nasisira yung zipper pag na overpack, nasisira yung wheels, etc. But at least you can bring it over to them for repair.
That being said, marami din issue si PAL. Pinoy ako but sorry, di ko talaga gusto si PAL and I always have bad experiences with them. From international flights delayed by 8 hours, to cancellations the night before and the day itself (tas wala silang solusyon, ikaw bahala maghanap) to bad/seemingly spoiled food. May route lang sila na monopoly nila like yung Manila to Hawaii kaya ako sumasakay sa kanila but if may choice na iba, dun ako sa iba.

    2. I will never ride PAL again.

    3. 1:41am We frequently fly Manila-Honolulu coz we have family there and I have a toddler kaya I don't like stopovers. Last time we flew dapat dating namin Dec 31 4pm but the plane was so delayed we arrived near midnight, saw the fireworks na lamg sa airport with my kid and missed media noche. Buti kami ganun lang yung nakasabay namin na foreigners missed ther connecting flights to Bali and yung isa to Siargao. Nightmare talaga si PAL and an embarassment as a Filipino.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Nope, Aiko. You are wrong. Airlines never handle the luggages with care, ever. Hagis dito hagis duon sila literal. And that’s why Rimowa made heavy duty luggages bec they know how airlines handle luggages. Rimowa also offers service where they can fix your luggage at your hotel. Just take advantage of that service. And dont fly PAL, one of the worst airlines and customer service. They business class is no class compared to other carriers.

Pagpunta mo don sasabihin na no choice sila dahil kelangan ma load ang baggage at such time para di madelay ang flight. Sue all you want but sadly, yours is not an exceptional case.

  32. Airports and airline management should require handlers to wear a bodycam.

  33. Rimowa naman, madali lang ipaservice. It's one of the things you pay for. Nothing to stress about.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wala din siguro sa brand yan, yung luggage ko hindi naman kamahalan Pero nakaka survive from seattle to manila. So far tuwing nagbabakasyon ako wala pa naman nangyayaring ganyan.

  35. Madami pa ba nawawalan sa NAIA? I watched a vlog ng isang Pinoy ang dami nawala sa gamit nila last December.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Di ako masyadong bothered sa damaged luggage. I don’t own expensive luggages.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Happened to me on a US flight (not Pal)ganyan din sa rimowa ko wala e balibagan talaga lucky if you have warranty... Pinalitan nila ng brand new yung Rimowa ko kasi beyond repair na sya.. ganyan din nangyari nag crack and wala na wheels .

  44. You can’t expect ANY airline to handle your luggage with care, unless you pasted ‘FRAGILE’ there. I’m sure that’s why travellers try to find heavy duty luggages (for them to last) or cheaper luggages (to not waste money since they will break at some point anyway), whichever suits them. If you opted for the former, then complain to the maker of your luggage as it was not as heavy duty as they advertised. It’s a different story if your luggage got busted and lost something inside.

    ReplyDelete

    1. that's not true, there are many airlines that take care of passengers' luggage extremely well, most of them European airlines and some big airlines in Asia.

    2. 10:56 Japan airlines and Korean they will handle your luggage properly. Ibabalot pa nila sa plastic if mag check in ka ng car seats and if u asked them to wrap your small luggage they will do it too.

      Delete
    3. korean air and air nippon takes good care of my luggages - been travelling every 2 years since 2006 from dc to incheon/japan to mnl. domestic flights naman southwest air. 2x pa lang ako nagpalit ng luggage but that’s because i wanted to, not because they messed up. they follow international policies and regulations, as PAL should.

PAL should not take these complaints and viral videos lightly - this could cost them a lot later on. recession pa naman.

    4. 5:49 maliban nalang king baka private jet but kahit s US at London May nagrereklamo din about s luggages na sira o nawawalan ng items. Madaling buksan nag luggages kahit sabihin mong Mahal kapag kita ang zipper, ballpen lang nabubuksan. Pinakita ng TSA yan s documentary

Last Jan 7 lang yan. Mla to KL.

  47. I used to worked at abu dhabi airport and i remember we had a vip carrying LV luggage as in like 5 pcs. Yung work nila is to ensure na maload yung bagahe mo.
