    6. 11:24 It is a thing for UK schools ang 1 year break for the students to figure out what they really want in life.

    7. @804 nakakasakal para sa walang budget. Pag may kaya di kailangan magmadali. They can afford to take a gap year before entering college kahit naman sa Pilipinas. Mapapasana all na lang talaga ako.

    8. Common yung gap year even for US students. They go backpacking or work for a year para makapag-isip ano talaga gusto nila sa buhay.

    9. My son took a gap year. Unless you have saved up funds for it or nakakuha ng scholarships/grants, a lot of kids apply for student loans. So now he's working full-time, saving up enough money for tuition. Ibang friends niya, working part-time rin. Others naman, ang purpose ng gap year is to figure out what you really want to pursue dahil mahal nga ang education. Sometimes, thru sa work, dun mo pa lang nalalaman yung direction na gusto mong tahakin, as what happened with my son, who is now applying to get admitted to university. Yung mga ibang Pinoy, di nakakaunawa. They thought my son was just wasting his time or bakit di na lang daw kumuha ng kurso na gusto namin for him. Well, its his life, his own path to carve out for himself.

    10. Sa mga nag gap year or kilala nyo na nag gap year, anong ginawa nyo? Kahit afford namin wala naman akong maisip na gagawin ko sa gap year and the natural course of things for me is mag college kaya diretso college na. Travel? 16 ako nag graduate (wala pang K-12 nun) and di naman ako pwedeng mag lamyerda mag isa and keri naman ng summer vacation ang travel. Work?

  2. 10:27 and 10:46 The point is, Sharon is feeling sentimental that Miel already finished high school. And how difficult it is to set out precious children free to experience life on their own.

  3. Sharon may lack maturity sa words niya often, but the sentiment is very genuine. It's hard to let go of your kids talaga lalo pa kung abroad na lahat

    1. Mas tipid nga kung magyear off muna para di sayang yun tuition kung after 1 sem or 2 sems biglang ayaw pala nung course. Year off meaning, no tuition, no allowance, may time makapagipon for school ang parents. Pwede rin magpart time ang bata during gap year.

Quesehodang the real rich eklat…. mahirap pa rin so if na bigyan ng opportunity to study abroad, do good, finish quickly. Congrats sa lahat ng grads.
