    1. Kim could have said a short reply sa misunderstanding ng netizen.

She could’ve just ignored the comment.

      Delete
    10. 12:06 humble?

    2. Nope. Sbunga lng tlga si basher!

      Delete
    3. Of course not. Hindi lang naman patay ang ibig sabihin nun, it could also mean you are in a better disposition mentally, emotionally or financially. Very obvious na hindi well read, well educated at kinulang sa vocabulary ang nagpaviral nyan.

      Delete
    4. You are in a better place is like saying his/her soul is now in heaven. As we presume that heaven is a better place than here on earth.

      Delete
    5. She should have said you are in a better or happy situation now.

      Delete
    6. 11:25 yes. Yun ang conventional interpretation ng phrase na "you're in a good place now." Ibig sabihin, RIP Kimmy

      Delete
    7. 140 no. Iba ang in a good place sa IN A BETTER PLACE. google is the key.

      Delete
    8. 11:25 “You’re in a good place” vs “You’re in a better place”.

      Delete
    10. wow may conventional interpretation ka pa mali mali ka naman... libre lang google... magkaiba ang in a good place at in a better place... ang lungkot naman ng buhay mo kung masasabi mo lang na in a good place ka kung patay ka na

      Delete
    11. If u use GONE IN A BETTER PLACE pang eulogy talaga yun

Pero ginamit ni leni UR IN A GOOD PLACE meaning CONTENTED

      MY GOSH MGA PEOPLE

      Delete
    12. @1:40 no, it is not. You're in a better place ang ginagamit if you are talking about someone dead. Magtuturo ka na lang mali pa.

      Delete
    13. 11:25. You are in a better place: RIP / You are in a good place - the person is in a good state of mind.

      Delete
    14. 1:14 girl, very wrong ka. Very literal na good place kailangan heaven.

"I'm in a good place" is commonly used to indicate a good emotional well-being.

      Delete
Being in a good place connotes being well emotionally. Usually ginagamit yan kapag galing ka sa isang emotionally stressful na sitwasyon, like yun mga may mental health problems before, or kakagaling sa divorce, or dating nabully.

    16. Jusko daming officers ng department of explanation dito

      Delete
    4. 9:44 You’re in a good place can be used for the living. You’re in a BETTER place ang usually pang eulogy. And you’re in a good place ang sabi ni Leni.

      Delete
    5. "Good place" ang sinabi at magkaiba po yan. Dyuskopo naman.

    6. Pag ibang tao ang nagsabi sayo nyan parang iba talaga ang dating.

    1. What is ugaling squammy?! Very derogatory!!!

      Delete
    2. Tagalog translation of "squammy" is "gawaing skwater" per Mr. Google. People who live in the slums are usually mga totoong tao...something that Kimmy is too on top of her being kind, decent, loving and generous.

      Delete
    3. 1133 squammy agad?? Teka sikat at mas may Pera naman Yan kesa sayo

Pati “you’re in good place” ginagawan ng meaning na masama?

    ReplyDelete

Ikaw? Fact check please, magbasa ka.

      Delete
    5. 1:31 but the thing is ang mga kabataan nowadays ginagawang role models ang mga artista which is sad.

      Delete

      Delete
    8. 3:42 PM and 12:02 AM, you guys probably have never been to a Leni Robredo Rally. Aaminin ko, maka Leni ako, but I bothered to go to at least one rally ni BBM for comparison.

  20. Excuse to all who misunderstood - VP Leni said “you are in a Good place now Kim” does not mean RIP. She did not say you are in A better place. Please check the meaning of good place - it does not mean RIP. 🀦🏻‍♀️

    ReplyDelete
Talagang umabot tayo sa "good" vs "better" hahaha good luck pinas!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mga mars, as a language teacher, ang idomatic expression na “You are in a good place” is someone is in a happy desposition. Pwede ding Kim's mental state is at peace.

Ang sinasabi niyo para sa namayapa ay yung expression na “You are in a better place.” Ibig sabihin patay na yun tao.

  23. Seryoso? Yun lang di pa maintindihan? Wag kasi puro tiktok ang alam. Pati yung iba dito nag explain pa ng difference between good and better place. Kaloka.

  25. "A good place"

The Free Dictionary refers to the phrase "come from a good place" to mean "to be motivated by decency, kindness, or good intentions."

"In a good place" is also a common phrase used to refer to "a person's state of mind, serenity, confidence, optimism."

I am in a good place right now, I am in a better place at work than last year... laging naririnig from expats dito. problemahin nyo yung pag iisip nyo bakit kayo boboto ng magnanakaw, sinungaling, corrupt and wala man lang college degree. that is the lowest form of mediocrity at its best.we Filipinos deserve so much better!

      Delete
  30. Wala naman talagang mali. If you want to go technical about. Kaya lang sa context talaga awkward. Poor choice of words. Only goes to show that the lady is really not that eloquent as she and her followers believe to be. Kaya siya napagtatawanan because of this.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 2:30 mas magaling pa rin siya compared to your choice. Imagine takot umattend ng debate? Panoorin mo previous interview niya with Jessica Soho, then balik ka dito, sinong mas mahina at hindi eloquent?

      Delete
    2. 230pm, the problem is the lack of comprehension of people and nitpicking what VP says to throw shade at her. Google is free, if you don’t understand idiomatic expressions.

      Delete
    3. true.

May google dyan. I'm sure mga world leaders alam ang difference niyan. Hindi katulad niyo.

      Delete
    5. Kaya ba mas preferred nyo un isa na sa mga debates and interviews pa lang eh umiiwas na because he cannot fully explain himself or express his thoughts? Then you are worried how VP will face other world leaders just for this simple message na unfortunately eh hindi nyo naintindihan? If you are truly worried abt that, the more that you should not vote for the other.

    ReplyDelete

Its just that, people in general are getting used of those words already if someone passed away.
