  1. Oh well lets move on if may next prospect pa pwede..

    1. Joining NBA is not a walk in the park. One has to undergo rigorous training for several years before ka mapansin talaga.

Kai is already there. Ba't pa need umuwi to train for the Phil team? Kalerks!

Sinayang nya tong pagkakataon na to.

      Delete
  17. if your good your good tapos usapan puro kasi hype mga nagmamagaling na pang nba daw eh uaap highschool lang yan tapos puro kalaban nya hanggang dibdib nya lang kaisa isang player na pwede sana match konti sa height nya eh kakampi nya pa sa ateneo hehe so ano magagawa nyan sa US lahat ng binabantayan nya iniiwan sya sa bagal nya

  18. Sino ba ang mastermind na pauwiin sya at paglaruin sa Gilas na hindi naman kelangan ang tulong nya in the first place?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
  19. As in yun lang talaga ang chance na makapasok sya sa NBA at 1 year lang yung kontrata na yun tapos hindi pa pinahalagahan... Wasted one time opportunity.

  20. Sinayang na naman just like with Paras.

Easy money kumbaga. Bat pa magtetrain. Lol

      Delete

      Delete
    3. between Gilas and NBA, siguro naman mas malakas ang exposure kung NBA. Aminin natin na malabo natin masungkit yung FIBA or Olympics.

  21. Do they come home because they struggle with the autonomous DIY lifestyle, lack of privilege and hard yards? I keep getting that impression. Life is much easier if they go pro in the Philippines. Succes is more easily guaranteed, and they can be close to family and friends, enjoying the privileged lives they were accustomed to. Nothing wrong with that, in fact it's pretty common with other non-athletes. Something as simple as doing your own laundry and housework, coupled with having to work from the bottom up is too difficult for some.

    1. True. Unang una talaga n struggle pag nasa ibang bansa ka ikaw lahat ang gagawa, coming from someone ha na lumaking wlang katulong, at pwede mo pa ipagpabukas lahat sa Pinas. 😂 Dito ang hirap at ang pressure.

      Delete
    2. I agree. Tingin ko din kasi hindi sila lumaki sa hirap like pacquiao kaya yung bigat ng training, both physical and mental tapos for the first time wala silang kasamang katulong to do household chores for them kaya hindi kinaya nila kobe at kai. Pampered boys sila sa pinas eh, pagdating duon sila lahat gagawa... SHocking yan sa kanila.

      Delete
    3. Now that you say it...oo nga no? Parang hindi nila kaya yung struggle coz they lived privileged lives sa Pinas. Dito instant celebrity, instant PBA draftee, instant star player.

    4. He doesn’t have what it takes to be in the league. His handler is saving face pretending that he’s so busy with Gilas

      Delete
    5. itong Gilas wag na mangarap na mananalo yan. Sa Asia lang mananalo yan. Tigil tigilan na dapat pag hype nito.

      Delete

      Delete
  23. As a basketball player shouldn’t the NBA be his priority. There should be nothing else in his agenda except for that because it is super competitive and the window of opportunity is very slim.

    ReplyDelete

Wala eh. Ganun talaga.

    1. That’s what I feel as well. I don’t think it’s all power play. NBA teams are also after money they will not let go of someone who is genuinely good. I think he is not good enough. He’s tall but he’s not that good for his age especially compared to African Americans who are way more athletic. It’s not all about height.

  25. Oh well, not good enough. Just move on.
