    1. May isa pang test. Antigen rapid test, swab sya.

    2. Rapid test has only 80% sensitivity. No that reliable. Pag nag positive, need pa yan i confirm thru PCR testing which is highly accurate. Marami cases actually na positive sa rapid test pero negarive sa confirmatort PCR test.

  2. Rapid test IS NOT the swab test. Rapid test blood prick or sputum test which is done sa US. Here it prick lang siya litle blood then sa test kit na yan.

    2. You are referring to the antibody test. There's a new rapid test kit which tests for the antigen. The sample used for antigen rapid tests is naso/oropharyngeal.

  7. Antigen is not as accurate as the PCR test. Daming false negative, kaya nauuwi pa din sa PCR

  8. Ano ba point for getting the test? Unless they plan to completely disconnect from the outside world they can still get infected. Kahapon walang covid, baka ngayon meron na; depending on several factors, including having someone in the household going out for groceries.

So paano yan magpapa rapid test sila every month para lang mapanatag? Baka on the way to get the test or back dyan pa sila mahawa. Or may symptoms ba sila why they felt the need to get tested?

Nagtatanong lang naman as it seems to me showing negative test results is becoming a trend nowadays. To me, it is just a waste of time, money and safety, unless if may sakit ka and you want yourself and others around you to be reassured.
