During times like these, makikita mong andaming social and economic disparity sa Pinas. These need to stop. Let’s put social media to good use. Wake up na tayo.

This has been happening for decades now. Ngayon nyo lang pupunahin? Oh, vote for the same person again next election tapos mag tataka kung bakit trapo parin ang naka upo. Yup, that is insanity people.

    1. This! The outrage when this has always been the case - power and money can buy you anything and has reigned for a long time in the Philippines. It's not news. Elections are expensive. Wealth is celebrated and idolised. Look at the repeat politicians and the fashion parade during SONA and such. Hopeless. Now it's come into the spotlight because of this sad predicament. I hope the people will actually remember and not just forgive and reelect useless, insincere politicians time and again. It's madness.

    2. ibash nyo na ako ng ibash pero it turned out, one good thing this veerus has given us is the chance to see those leaders who are truly for the masses against the trapos that are so hard to root out from our culture. kaya sana naman this serves as a wake up call, moving forward.

  28. the thread isnt a discussion about the immorality of the law's execution where someone poor is thrown in jail and someone rich is let go even if their wrongdoing was the same. Nope. Lots of people are taking issue with the author of the post- Jake- and ignoring the immorality of authority in the Philippines. It says a lot about what kind of people they are.
