Laging lugi. Defensive mema

    5. 10:36 a lot of essential workers sa mga first world countries are filipinos, some of them barely even make ends meet cause they don't have proper documentation.

    6. 917 nowadays you cant get hired without proper visa documentation, especially sa health sector. you need registration sa medical board and proper work visa rights para ma employ..

    7. 1:24 I wasn't just pertaining to nurses, but min wage workers na din, especially yung walang legal status. Yung mga nasa US don't have any chances of getting their share of that stimulus check, and they have to pay rent.

    3. Its not that simple... pag suction lang ng secretion becomes aerosol.. iba equipment kailangan.. close circuit suction... ilan lang ang ganun.. dapat sa positive mo lang gamitin...lahat gagamit ng ppe kahit hindi covid basta pneumonia lang.. MEMA lang?? Tingin mo hindi pinagaaralan yan? D ka doctor i bet.. kaya wag comment ng comment.. everyone wants this to end and nobody want to get infeccted.. its like your teaching a doctor how to do their job.. in all caps pa ha!!

      Delete
    4. Kaya malaki percentage namamatay sa atin kasi they wanted to wait for the results first. Kita mo pag politiko at artista, nakaka recover kaagad :(

    5. Our family doctor advised us Na magpabakuna ng pneumococcal, esp my parents to protect us from diff kinds of Bacteria that causes pneumonia . Pneumonia kc ang cause of death ng covid patients .

      Delete
    6. Hi, frontliner here, as our daily mantra, we treat the patient's symptoms and holistically, not just the the labs.. As we get to know more of this pandemic, we get to be keen with its presentation, before pa lumabas ang result, if okay ang ECG, walang contraindications we give those "investigational" meds...

    7. I think because she was initially admitted for pneumonia with SOB so she got treated for it. They did the test later on.

      Delete
    10. 1:11 i dont get your point.

      Delete
Get mo na?

    14. Your pneumococcal vaccine gives you a false sense of security. COVID pneumonia is caused by a virus, not bacteria. If ever, walang magagawa ang bakuna na binigay sa yo dahil for bacterial pneumonia yun. Check mo WHO website for more tnfo.

    15. And if I may add lang, Iza presented with Shortness of breath kase. Priority ang symptom na yan sa triage. Whether SOB due to Covid or possible cardiac arrest, you get admitted agad. Ironically and unfortunately, yang SOB na yan ang basis for admission unless ... and I stop here coz Im not sure how other hospitals will handle you if packed na sila to capacity.

Kabukot!

    2. She was right though. She wouldn't have learned a very valuable life lesson if she never caught COVID. Pretty sure she'll be a completely new person with a deeper understanding of the meaning of her life and her privilege after this.

    3. 10:47 is just trying to tell Iza something positive.

    4. Yes, Iza said that several days ago.

  4. I wonder how she was treated, from fighting aggressively to testing again to see if she's in the negative? I hope whatever they gave her will work and that it will become the cure we all gave been praying for

  5. Ewan ko kung paranoid lang ako pero I've had diarrhea, low grade fever and a dry cough. Last time I was out of the house was march 14 and ever since June quarantined myself at home. I just treated myself with diatabs and biogesic. Water therapy, relaxing and inaaliw ko sarili ko by reading FP. Could it be possible kaya may Covid ako pero nalabanan ng immune system ko? As far as I know, malakas ako. I don't smoke, drink or have a preexisting condition. We can be infected but if healthy ka may chance na gagaling ka lang magisa.

    1. Who knows. COVID is flu na mas mabilis lang kumalat at nakakamatay within 2 weeks time. Ako I chew on garlic for immune system booster. Honey, onion, luya, tsaa. Savage pero masasanay din. Stay healthy mga kapatid. Keep praying. Kung intentional man ito, I pray that God will not let evil win. Health for the sick. Justice for the dead.

    2. Bakit June?

    3. It’s possibke na nalabanan ng immune system mo yun. Some people only experience mild symptoms. I’m glad that you are ok baks!

    4. It might be a simple flu with gastroenteritis. But still it’s better to isolate yourself.

    5. Lol sorry since March 15 quarantined at home medyo nahihilo lang ako. Thanks for pointing that out. Last out of the house march 14. Thank you din pala kay FP and tuloy tuloy pa din yun blog. Reading showbiz news here relieves me of my stress and worry.

    6. It's a relief na you are doing things to keep yourself occupied! Tuloy tuloy lang pagaalaga sa sarili with the water therapy and eating healthy foods. If you're body allows you, do some light exercises na din. Wishing you the best during this trying time, as well as fast recovery

    7. If you ARE infected, then it's good nalabanan ng immune system mo. You still need to quarantine yourself though. It's highly contagious and you must avoid infecting somebody who might not be as lucky and healthy as you. Stay inside, stay safe.

    8. 12:58 pls don’t be misinformed and misinform others. Covid is NOT like the flu. It hits your respiratory system and it is a different kind of virus. not even experts know much about it yet. Best to have it x rayed to see the condition. I’m glad you feel better doe. Pls stay home

    9. Relax and keep calm. First thing to do is understand the nature of the source. Covid-19 is first and foremost, a virus, no matter contagious it is, they still have the same weak spot as any virus, and that is - all virus are self-limiting. May specific time span lang and mga virus, for Covid-19, it is usually 7 to 14 days, but some goes up to 21 days. Yung mga usual symptoms na naririnig natin from infected individuals such as dry cough, fever, difficulty in breathing, diarrhea, etc are signs showing that your body is fighting the virus. Thing is, it all goes down as lakas ng immune system ng tao. More than 80% ng infected individuals only show mild symptoms (cough, fever, colds) but some would display severe to critical symptoms (having pneumonia is one of them). Ang goal is to maintain normal body functions and homeostatis until the virus expires sa katawan mo (again it is around 7 to 21 days).

What I would suggest is this, kahit sino pa once magkaroon ng related symptoms (kahit mild pa lang) consider yourself already as a PUI and put your in home quarantine and distance yourself with other members of the family. Wag mag-panic at sumugod agad sa hospital. Rest, take care of yourself and monitor your improvements. The moment you fell that nag-worsen yung symptoms mo, then it is the time to go to the hospital.

Please everyone, don't panic, limit your self in reading Covid-19 stuff in the media to prevent hysteria. Keep calm, well informed and prepared.

    10. 11:38 Too much water can kill. Your sodium level will drop and will result to too much fluid in the body causing your brain to swell up. Google mo water drinking contest in Califonia radio station. A contestant dropped dead after drinking a lot of water. Baka naman yang hilo hilo mo is caused by that.

    1. Hindi lang naman mayayaman ang galing abroad. OFWs - hindi naman sila lahat mayaman. It's just that yung iba, hindi talaga nagpapa test kahit may symptoms.
