Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon have been served a prison sentence on charges of aggravated rape (refers to rape that involves two or more perpetrators).

On November 29, judge Kang Sung Soo of the Seoul Central District Court delivered the verdict against five individuals including Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon.

The courts have sentenced Jung Joon Young to six years in prison and Choi Jong Hoon to five years in prison, finding them guilty of sexually assaulting an individual who was incapable of resisting. They will also have to undergo 80 hours in a sexual violence rehabilitation program and will face restrictions of employment for five years in any organization related to children and teenagers. The prosecution request to put the five defendants under protective supervision was denied.

Five individuals including Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon were charged with aggravated rape in Gangwon Province in January 2016 and in Daegu in March 2016. They also faced charges of filming and spreading footage that was illegally taken during that time.

The prosecution had initially asked for seven years in prison for Jung Joon Young and five years for Choi Jong Hoon, as well as participation in a rehabilitation program for offenders and a ten-year restriction of employment in any organization related to children and teenagers.

Rape should never be tolerated. Good for the Korean Courts. Justice served.

Tsaka feeling ko masydo mababa yung hatol no?

    2. I read an article that korean actors are the highest ranked entertainment personalities in Korea. After them, athletes, and then MC's ata or something else, and then fourth lang ang kpop idols. Kaya kung tignan mo mga actors nila, most of them are from upper class families.

    3. Di ka rin sure. Hindi lang masyadong exposed sa social media lahat ng actors nila kaya most of their controversies walang international reach

    4. 8:04 Not really. May pagka-elitist lang ang fans ng Korean actors but they're no better than idols.

  9. These were lucky pa because I read somewhere na they was able to reach an agreement with their victims, if not then they will be sentenced much longer pa. They deserved it.

So sad that in Goo Hara's case justice was not served. Her ex also filmed them doing the deed and threatened her to release the video but sadly court didn't favored them.

    1. Baka dahil may consent niya yung pagfilm ng video? Idk. Baka may lusot yung ex niya dun.

      Delete
Revenge porn ata yung tawag dyan.

      Delete
    3. Consent to film is not consent to distribute.

      Delete
    4. 1:16 super true. Napakagulo ng law nila. San ka nakakita na ang media ay may access with kkt chat witch are supposed to be private (usually can be accessed if hiningi na sa court) then after presented saka palang mag start umaksyon ang mga law enforcers. But well, law nila yun. Ang gulo lang initindihin lalo na if invested ka sa Kpop and your bias will be faced with scandals.

2:00 and yes even my consent ka mali pa din yung threatened siya. And the judge even watched the video before ruling the case. Imagine yung pain and humiliation non with Hara. Hay

    2. Reclusion Perpetua

      Delete
Eto nga mas mbaba dahil prior to this e nakikipag-ayos sila sa victim.

      Delete
    3. 3:03 I don't think mas talented ang mga k-idol compared sa pinoy artists pero they do have intense training before debuting. Wag mo naman maliitin ang mga pinoys over your k-idols

      Delete
    4. 3:03 hindi rin maybe mas magagaling ang mga korean actors kasi nga aside sa sagad ang acting workshop talagang karamihan sa kanila kumukuha pa ng course para lang makapasok sa acting department, pero ang kpop vs pinas dancers/singers? mas magagaling pa din ang pinoy sa totoo lang no, jusko kahit blackpink walang panama sa dancing skills ni maja and yassi. wala silang swag and fierceness kaya nga wala pa ding makapantay sa 2ne1 kasi sila lang ang may overall impact sa dancing and stage presence the rest pabebe dance and pabebe voice na.

      Delete
    5. 10:55 nadale mo. Wala pa nga masyado training training yung mga dancers and singers natin dito pero ang gagaling pa rin, what more kung bigyan ng marubdubang training. Saludo ako sa koreans for their love of hardwork pero kung sa talent eh di naman papatalo mga pinoy.

      Delete

  18. I've watched the video.
