    7. pag ang aso or any kind of animal threatened kahit sino presidente mayor ordinaryong mamayanan or celebrity they will defend theirselves. sa paningin nila tao tayo (parepareho) hindi ang status ng tao sa buhay.

    3. EXCUSE ME? ANONG PINAGSASABI MO? May karapatan ang mga hayop fyi.

  7. Wag na kayong mag shame shame keme. Alam na dapat yan ng lahat. Let the dog approach you, not the other way around. Kahit pa gaano sila kabait o kalambing, syempre kapag nasa labas guarded yung senses nila. Respect din natin yung private space nila. What you should do is ask the owner first kung maamo ba yung dog, then after non let the dog approach you. Kita naman sa dog kunf natutuwa sila sayo or ayaw nila.

    1. Not everyone knows this kasi. Atleast ngayon alam na niya and di na niya gagawin next time.

      Delete
    2. Tama. Kahit naka leash pa yang dog na yan if you petted the dog and the dog did not feel safe mangangagat pa din. If sya yung nag pet meaning sya ung lumapit so kahit gano pa kaiksi ung leash it really did not matter. Learn to respect boundaries kasi, kahit hayop pa yan, or be ready for consenquences, like getting bit by the dog.

      Delete
    3. Not everyone knows that you shouldn’t pet a dog who doesn’t know you? What?? I am not a dog-owner, but hello, common sense lang yun. Gosh!

  9. Paulit ulit mga comment jan sa post na never pet a dog without asking the owner eh nakalagay na nga sa post ni kim na Yun ang natutunan nya so bakit paulit ulit tapos yung sinasabi niya na Unattended hindi naman niya sinisi yung owner pinapaalahanan niya lang lahat ng tao

    ReplyDelete

    2. 2:31, Kasi, it is a must anywhere else that when you take your dog out in public, dapat naka leash. Do not assume...

      Delete
    5. At fault din naman yong owner. Pano if it was a kid who got bitten? That’s why owners should never leave their pets unattended in public kasi responsibility nila yon.

      Delete
    6. 11:27 if a kid got bitten, at fault din yung parents. I am a dog-owner and I thought my kid as early as he started to understand things that he can not just pet every dog he sees. He has to ask the owner first. Responsibility rin nila to watch their kids.

3:41 the dog has every right to be at the parl just like everyone else. Just because may mga talot sa aso hindi na sila pwede or dapat naka-leash lang. Most dogs in BGC are well-trained, hence they are off-leashed. SOME places dapat talaga naka-leash ang dogs, BUT IT IS NOT A MUST IN ALL PLACES.

      Delete
  10. End of the day, once you take your dog out in a public place, it is a must to put them on a leash. Dito sa Dubai, you cannot own a dog without its passport and health card. They are to be chipped and has to undergo a yearly check up with complete vaccinations. They put a stamp on their health cards and get a colored chip which is different every year. This chip is mandatory to be worn on the collar of the dog whenever it goes out in public. You will also need to show an updated health card whenever you take your dog to the groomers here...

    ReplyDelete
  11. Dog shame? really.... what has become of the world.... hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thats why I never allow people specially kids to pet my dog when I walk him on BGC.
Let the cats exist and live their lives hindi ka nila inaano

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nakakatawa nga yang i-leash ang pusa. Lol.

No negativity. Be responsible. Our place should be prepared if we have to bring dogs or any pet.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
Simple lang naman, people should be responsible both the owners and everyone around pets. Kung nakagat take it up to the police station or baranggay to make the owner responsible.

      Delete
    3. Chowchows are quite aggressive. I had a nasty experience with one in the lift where I live. His owner could barely control his dog. The lift stopped and opened for me when his dog lunged and growled at me. I was able to immediately step back out and avoid getting bitten.

It's scary to think if it was a mom with a small kid or a baby in stroller waiting for the lift. Usually the kid or stroller goes in first when the lift opens for them. I still shudder thinking if it was them by chance who encountered that aggressive chowchow. They would have been mauled.

    4. 2:54 Agree.

      Delete
    5. Ikaw na lang kaya wag pumunta sa mga public places where dogs are welcome, 2:53? Lol.

      Delete
  16. Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public places and where owners can attend to control their animal. If the victim here is a baby or small child what will be next excuse of the bashers

    ReplyDelete
  17. Good of Cara to respond. Some ‘netizens’ who are berating Kim and her friends and arguing with Cara are also over reacting. Kim used her experience and platform to put out an important message to the public and admits she made a mistake that led to being bitten. No more, no less. Let’s focus on this and stay safe people!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Not a pet lover here kaya honestly ngayon ko lang nalaman na may parang rules pa pala before hawakan ang mga aso para di sila mangagat.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You don’t have to be a pet-lover or owner para malaman na hindi mo basta basta dapat hawakan ang isang aso na hindi ka kilala. Hindi yun rule. Common sense lang yun, 6:04.

      Delete
    2. I beg to disagree, 10:25 PM. Tendency for most people, especially if cute yung dog, is to try to reach out and hold them. That's what I did, and I got bit. So, lesson learned - the hard way.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dito pag nangagat ang aso, they put them down... kaya ingat na ingat ang mga pet owners.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Dog shame the dog" wow!

    ReplyDelete
  22. There are two people at fault here: Kim & the dog owner. Kim shouldn’t have pet the dog without asking the owner if it’s ok. The owner should have put the dog on a leash while in public places.

    ReplyDelete
  23. There is a right way to pet and greet a dog leashed or unleashed. Apparently she did not get the memo. The first rule is to ask the owner . The dog is not to blame, as a celebrity, she had her day on social media already. Cara im ashamed that you took sides to a celebrity where clearly it was her fault

    ReplyDelete
  24. Seryoso ba yang dog shaming na yan. What!? Mali si Kim to pet a stranger’s dog pero mali din yung dog owner for not keeping the dog on leash. They should be a responsible pet owner lalo na pag nilalabas nila yung mga dogs by keeping them on a leash.

    ReplyDelete
  25. some dogs aren't leashed because they are carried on a stroller or doggie totes. there are already signs around BGC, especially at the back of shang fort to not feed & pet dogs

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kalma people! Kim said she learned her lesson. That means she knows na mali sya sa pag pet ng dog without asking the owner. Read her previous post again.

    ReplyDelete
  29. As if may makakakilala sa dog na yun pag nasalubong.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  31. If you are the dog owner, you are responsible. Period.
