    2. THE THING WITH RELIGION IS IT TEACHES YOU TO ONLY FOLLOW WHAT YOUR RELIGION TELLS YOU TO DO. KUNG HINDI MO KAYANG SUMUNOD, TUMIWALAG KA PARA KAHIT ANONG GAWIN MO, HINDI MATATAWAG NA KASALANAN. GANUN LANG KASIMPLE.

      Bakit ka galit?

    4. robin is Moslem but Mariel is a practicing Catholic. May anak sila whom I supposed is being raised the Catholic way. Why deprive the child of Christmas when only his father is Moslem. I believe Robin did "celebrate" Christmas for the sake of his daughter. Can he be faulted for that? I don't think so

    5. Im a member of a religion who don't celebrate X'mas and I can relate to Robin. Mahirap dedmahin ang Pasko sa Pinas where everyone is celebrating.

  3. Real Muslims tolerate the practices of Christians and Jews and other religions so long that it doesn't harm others. Here in UAE, the government donates lands where various religious sects can build their houses of worships. The sheikhs join the masses or services when a church is inaugurated. A mosque is even named after Mary.

  5. wala pong problema jan.. im working here sa Saudi for ten years now.. even my colleagues sa hospital celebrate Christmas with us and greet us Merry Christmas the same way we celebrate with them during Eid.. it's a matter of respect sa religion, culture and beliefs.... Mas lalo pa siguro si Robin, hello asawa nya mismo ung nagcecelebrate ng Pasko, so for sure makikicelebrate din sya but that doesnt mean na tumatalikod na sya sa religion nya..

    1. Tama. How respectable they are sa Catholic faith. Mas nirerespeto pa nga nila ang Pasko kesa ke ibang relihiyon. Same way n kaming mga Pinoy, pag panahon ng Ramadan...

    3. let him be, as long as walang inaagrabyadong tao.

Why question others belief and practices why cant we just respect each other for as long as a religion promoteas peace and love and brings people and families together there is nothing to question.

      Delete

For him, Christmas is more of a culture and tradition and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Sana mag sink in ung meaning niyan sau. Merry Christmas 1:11!

    1. hindi nya kaya pilitin kasi magagalit pamilya nila Mariel.

      Delete
    3. Because Mariel is a Christian and is a "woman of the books". Books - Tora and Bible. There's no problem for Muslim men marrying Christians or Jewish women.

  13. Dito sa UAE, even muslims greet you a merry Christmas. Just yesterday, we celebrated Christmas in the office and even my muslim workmates brought food. Some malls here even decorate or sell christmas decors and christmas items. So what? It's not only about religion, it's about loving and sharing. After all, muslims recognize the existence of Jesus and His name in Islam is Isa Al-Masih.

  15. ang tawag dyan ay tolerance , wherein the person is free to express his religious belief.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Christmas is more of a tradition naman talaga eh.

Anong sine-celebrate niyong tradition? Yung pambonggahan sa social media?

  17. The kind of people who are reacting negatively to Robin's choice to respect Christmas with his Christian wife and child are the reason why there are wars in the world. Why don't you spend your energy doing positive things for the society rather than finding faults in everyone?!

    4. Well Dubai is different than other Muslim states since they cater more on foreign tourists and has large expat community.

Question to you 7:06 am, did your boss join the Christmas Dinner?

      Delete
    5. 6:52 In hub's company, they didn't join Christmas dinner because obviously that's after office hours 😊 But before that, in office, they treated the Christians with parties and joined in the gift-giving. We're also based here in Dubai.

  21. This is why my family and I decided to practice Deism. We believe in God but we don’t follow any organized religions. For us, religion divides people. Religion is a money-making business. The truly loving God, the Source of it all loves all of us no matter where you pray or what “holy” book you read dahil hindi naman sya nagsulat ng mga librong yan. We celebrate the Holidays because it’s fun tradition. Happy Holidays everyone!

    2. Anon 1:37 Who says I was trying to be kind? That was not even my point. You take it or leave it, I don’t care. Kung makatulong sayo, eh di ok. Kung hindi makatulong, eh di ok din. I’m just puting this out here for those who need it. All the best!
