    1. Sinabi na dati na 2 scenes with lines yung appearance nya.

    2. Kung nasa credited cast siya that means kasali siya sa final cut my dear. If extra lang siya na walang speaking lines, her name would not be included in the cast. You know how many people there are in an actual movie? Imagine if all those were named and credited.

    4. Because of people like you with crab mentality that Filipinos cannot accomplish ANYTHING as a whole.YOU settle na everybody should be DOWN to your level rather than some of us succeeding so we can be pulled UP to their level too. Kaya tuloy tayo associated with being mga DH and we settled sa stereotype dahil kapag may isang umangat hinihila pababa.

    1. Pano? She's not even Filipina in the movie. Binobola na naman kayo ni Kris.

    2. may hanash ka lang kay Kris baka ikaw ang nagpapabola or mahina ang grasp mo of reality kaya madali kang magpaniwala sa roles 2:23

    3. I'm happy for Kris at yang sinasabing role niya dyan.

    4. You know what, most people do not even consider Filipinos true Asians. I'm here in the US, nagaway pa kami ng medical staff bakit daw chineck ko Asian under ethnicity. In other Asian circles too we are considered inferior.below Japanese Chinese and Koreans. Ka level Marin ( in other people eyes) hung ibang mahibirap na Asians like Cambodians Indonesian whatev, you get the drift. Para napili nila so Kris to be royalty , THAT is a welcome change my dear! Deadma na kung Filipino or Hindi Ang role. Kris is Filipino and they chose her, end of story!

      Delete
    5. They chose her kasi rich naman sya at anak ng ex president and sis ng ex president

    6. 1:51 its not the role that she is proud of but a holywood movie chosing a filipina to do the role because she is not the only one who auditioned for the role.

      Delete
    7. She might mean ikakaproud dahil Philippine actress with a significant role (though quite short appearance) sa Hollywood film.

      Delete
    8. 5:41 am weird nga kasi even in school demographics (greatschools.org) Filipinos are a separate statistics from Asians. Filipinos are Asians.

      Delete
    9. 5:41 What's wrong with Cambodians and Indonesians? Siguro kasi pareho naman Southeast Asians iyon, like Filipinos. Japanese and Chinese are East Asians.

  10. I’ve read the book 4 yrs ago over and over again because the plot is so good. Princess Intan is surely a good exposure for Kris in the international market, thou not really part of the mainstream cast, proud of u Tetay! This is THE 1st Asian movie in the history , full Asian casts and director

    1. nahiya naman ang crouching tiger sayo

      Delete
    2. "Good exposure to international market", haha. Then maririnig nila magsalita si Kris in her Kris voice accent.

      Delete
    3. Alamin mo muna meaning ng “extra”

  12. I cant wait. I loved all the books. And while I am not a fan of Kris, I will surely look forward to seeing her.

    1. the story of the movie was rewritten by the author and her character was included.

  14. Aside from Kris there's one Pinoy Nico Santos na credited as other cast. Extra sila ni Tetay with good exposure di yung EXTRA EXTRA na dumaan lang na parang hangin.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nico Santos has a significant and much bigger supporting role than Kris. If the film will follow the book, he would have a lot of scenes, not just 2 like Kris.

      Delete
    2. Nico Santos a filipino born who is an American citizen and thus representing the US of A.

      Delete
  15. It doesnt matter how small the role ng pilipina. ano gusto nyo bida na katulong ang pinoy o minor role pero princesa. gusto ko minor role pero princess para naman ma break ang stereotype natin.

    ReplyDelete

    1. She's not playing a Filipino princess even.

  16. Kris Aquino. Nico Santos (Philippine born). Take that!

  17. lets just all be proud dahil all asean cast ang movie na ito! d nman every year eh my gnitong movie! at lets be prouder dhil my nksamang filipino dto! iwasan ang crab mentality!

  18. She has speaking lines. Her role is important in establishing Rachel’s dominance in the story. I’ve seen the early screening last Wednesday.
