    2. Weird rules! Its not illegal drugs but just a prohibited substance? So whats the difference?! If its prohibited then its illegal! If its illegal its prohibited!

      Delete
    3. @1:14 baka for the athletes lang. The drugs are prohibited to be consumed by athletes but they are not illegal drugs.

      Delete

Kakalowka. Kuda kuda

    1. oi di ah. im a pba fan, ive seen his dad play. and keifer is way better than his dad. yung papa nya magaling lang mag 3 pts

    2. @7:32 pm, his dad won rookie of the year sa pba

      Delete
    3. 12:58 rookie of the year is not a measurement of a person's lifelong career. Maybe he was good that year which earned him the award but what about the years thereafter? Did he carry the same momentum throught his career?

    4. So dapat talaga icompare sa tatay?

Nangyari rin yata kay Maria Sharapova yan dati dahil sa gamot na tinetake niya for an injury...at any rate, they have to clarify for transparency.

    5. Ito daw baks:

The substances are as follows: Higenamine, 1,3-Dimethylbutylamine, and 4-Methylhexan-2-amine.

He took a drink called DUST which is a pre-workout drink.

Maging aral sana sa lahat ng mga atleta at be more mindful of the things you put in your body. Sana pati mga coaches and trainers and parents ng mga athletes natin maging partners to help support Philippine athletics para maiwasan na yung mga incidences ng ganyan.

    7. Excusw me 8:36.. Sharapova knowingly took a banned substance. She's been taking meldonium SECRETLY for 10 years to enhance her performance. Meldonium is given to people who suffers from a heart ailment and should only be taken for 2 months. In short wala syang injury. At kung meron man talaga, you are required to list everything you take as medication para mabigyan ka ng exemption. But no, she never listed it for the past 10 years even when the substance was not banned yet.

  7. Its strange that you wont or dont know what you are taking.

    1. Sa dami ng mga drinks ngayon like mga energy drinks and all other stuff malamang hind nya namalayan.

      Delete
    2. Baks ikaw alam mo lahat ng active and inactive ingredients ng isang drink or med? Matanong ko lang. he knows it’s his fault naman and he’s taking responsibility pero it happens.

      Delete
    3. 2:02 He’s an athlete—it’s his job to know what he’s taking or drinking. I don’t know what’s hard to understand here.

      Delete
    4. The problem is, not all drinks list down ALL the ingredients so if you just rely on what they list down in the packaging, you won’t know, unless there is a list of all the energy drinks that contain banned substances in it.

      Delete
    5. Sige nga baks, anong substances ng last juice drink na ininom mo?

      Delete
    6. 9:02 - That is why professional athletes are very careful. They only take proven safe drinks or medication.

1130 - Di naman ako athlete. Walang governing body to check my blood and urine to make sure I don't have unfair advantage over other players.

  8. Ravena was postive to this stimulants: Higenamine, 1,3-Dimethylbutylamine, and 4-Methylhexan-2-amine as per (World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)who made the tests.

  9. I find it hard to believe that banned substances can be found in sports /energy drinks available over the counter.

    1. That's reality, drugs nga over the kanto eh,yan pa kaya na hindi illegal, banned nga lng sa ibang sports org.

      Delete
    2. he is taking C4...on the day he was to get tested for drugs naubusan ang C4 then he took DUST...how convenient naman ng kwento mo kiefer!!! wag kami! OBVIOUS!

      Delete
    3. 11:56, do you mean he took it on purpose just so he would test positive and be banned? What for would he do that? For publicity purposes?
I don’t like this guy but I’m baffled by the logic (or lack of it).

      Delete

      Delete
    5. What 11:56 means is that he is not buying Ravena's story. Ako rin doubtful. Pro athletes don't just buy drinks anywhere. And whatever they take for medication, they have to list down and submit to the governing body para mabigyan sila ng exemption.

  10. I hope soplahin sya ng FIBA kasi i don't think Yung alibi nya is valid na May nainom lang syang sports drink. Come on. Common issue na to abroad and common na rin ang alibi na yan pero palusot lang.

    1. True. Hhahahaha and this athlete earns millions of dollars.

  12. Higenamine, 1,3-Dimethylbutylamine, and 4-Methylhexan-2-amine.

  13. Bakit kasi kung ano ano pang iniinom. Kung hindi naman kelangan, skip the supplements. Kawawa ang liver

  14. Kasama PBA Career nyA sa suspension coz pba is under fiba??

    ReplyDelete
  15. Na-injure ba sya or may type of illness na kailangan ng medication? Kasi kung oo I would understand why the prohibited substance somewhay flew off his radar.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dami mapanghusga,eh kung alam nya eh di sana hindi sya uminom ng ganun, haller,it's just an honest mistake.

    1. The thing is doping is cheating. If that’s ok with you then you are a fan of the player, not the sports. You have to understand there a lot of athletes who are not given exposure and opportunity only to be outshined by someone who uses illegal performance booster meds. Wag maging fantard. Maging critical din minsan.

      Delete
    2. 2:40, not defending and not judging too but has anyone cared to check beyond what was written here? I read an Inquirer article about FDA odering recall & investigation on these energy drinks. It seems to me these drinks were sold on the premise that it did not contain any prohibited susbstances. The label and the website itself do not list any of the prohibited 3 ingredients. How would one know what’s in it if FDA, the very agency which is supposed to be aware of it, does not even know?

      Delete
    3. grabe maka judge ang tao?? the international basketball committee suspended him.

      Delete
    4. The officials themselves already judged him and suspended him. What else do you need? You can’t defend cheaters. Never.

      Delete
    5. WADA (Word Anti-Doping Agency) gives out the list of banned substances. It's up to you to check your drink kung may bawal na ingredient.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  22. dapat kasi ang talent/skill mo natural not enhanced. e si lance amstrong nga stripped off ng mga titles nya s cyckling considering same day ang testing. un kanya after how many years nalaman. russisn athletes may issue rin ng doping kaya ban sa olympics. etc. e ung iba hardcore tinuturok pa ang pang enhance ng performance. imagine sa cyckling ilang kilometro mainit malamig pataas pababa. that’s fair play if they find banned substances sa athletes ban sila di lang pinoy. at kung totoo bakit sya lang ang uminom ng energy drink na un samantalang gatorade sa nba ay sapat na. Sus! sayang ka boy. or talagang magaling ka dahil jan sa ininom mo. banned substance kasi later on in their lives me epekto sa katawan kung mataas na degree na ng doping.

    ReplyDelete
  23. nakakahiya naman ang mga co-athletes, artists .... support para saan? if tested positive for doping, it is what it is. Now suck it up. Doping is doping.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ung c4 mo me banned substances din. in short ang performance mo ay hyped ng energy/prework out drinks mo. hmmp.
