    2. Finished up to picture lock stage lang naman. Hindi talaga kailangang tapos na ang film. After ng picture lock stage, pwede na nga ienhance in terms of audio, visual, etc except yung babaguhin ang script, actors, story flow... ganern.

  4. True. Sana kung mag-iimpose na rin lang ng bago at pinaayos na rules, panindigan na. 'Di yung babaliin para i-accomodate ang ibang pelikula. Di ba nga ang goal naman ng MMFF sa pagsasaayos ng rules at proseso, is to have films na mas pinaghandaan..mas maganda ang quality..mas maipagmamalaki ang kaledad. Hindi yung paspasang shoot para lang maisama sa festival. Kebs na sa quality basta yung kikita. Kapag magiging strict kasi ang MMFF, matuturuan din ang producers at film makers na mag-alot ng mas maagang time to shoot films. That way, dahil di nagmamadali, mas napapaganda. Even sa post processing, mas mapagtutuunan ng pansin. Kaya sana, panindigan na ng MMFF ang rules na sinet. Di yung babaliin depende sa kung anong convenient for the other films.

  5. To give way siguro mga "favorites" nila na hindi pa natapos ang shooting or post-prod sa movies nila.

  7. Baka walang masyadong entries na finished na. Syempre i bend nila ang rules kung alam nilang magiging money maker ang film maski hindi patos nung deadline.

  13. Is it fair for the viewing public? To be taken out of the right to view good foreign films, a lot of good foreign films are released on christmas and what a treat for us to see good films on holiday.

    Pero wala... only to give way to these basura films (well not all). Mga madaliang films, basta makagawa lang, basta makasali lang. And to showcase filipino creativity? Talaga? eh box office lang habol.... same theme, same title even for some, same basura concept, and same artists.
