    4. Did you read?

The least thing she could have done was to apologize to ms. Rita. No question asked or justification for that matter.

    15. It's funny how people take this issue wrong. Bottom line - "what is the right thing to do." Customer is always right, you pay a lot, you expect top notch service And WE Filipinos shld always fight and get what we deserve. We should not delve into mediocrity to make our country prosper.

    16. Still not acceptable, no matter where it came from. Don't accept it, fight it for change.

    17. the issue isnt about kung kaninong buhok, its how the manager handled the complaint.

Is it because we've been conditioned na rin because our government itself does not provide good public service in return despite high taxes. Been traveling across Asia Pacific, other countries do say sorry & give something to console the customer (esp Japan). Iba ang Pilipinas, probably next to india for poor customer service. Maybe, lack of discipline na rin due to excessive push for democracy. Although, one professor told us one time that our history of long oppression and colonization before indirectly had taken its toll on this kind of our attitude.

    6. Anon 907. Look at Singapore. It was stressed by their gov't that discipline is key to progress. The leaders tell them to trust the method even if it is painful. It was also discretely inculcated to them that arts has no big place given their resources, so they pulled out all the stops to prioritize a science-driven economy. And they admit that arts is not their priority, work lang mostly. If you can notice, hindi emotional citizens nila but rational & firm. Now tell us if walang point si anon 1231 haha. Broad understanding yan

    7. To people saying that we should stop complaining about poor customer service: the moment we take it as a norm & standard and cease continuous improvement, hindi natin macocorrect ang mali at lalo nating pinapabulok ang sistema. So wrong! Tapos iniinsist natin sa ibang bansa na maayos tayo magtrabaho when in fact we still have a lot to learn from Germans & Japanese in terms of productivity and work ethics.

    8. Excuse me but the customer service in India is far way better than here. With a simple complain they will give you a free meal and apologize.

  10. Doesn't matter where the hair came from, customer or staff, the point is there was hair in the laing. The staff go around the buffet checking on the food, if they notice anything that might be deemed unsanitary, then they should bring the food in. Seriously, hindi ka-murahan sa Vikings, so you would expect that they would have that courtesy of having their staff checking on the status of the food that they have on the buffet di ba?

  11. So If not customer, yun cook or staff nag buhol ng hair?

Yung mga gantong pangyayari, nasesettle 'to inside the premise, not in social media.

Minsan sana wag tayo manghamak ng kapwa for the sake of fame.

  17. No customer service in this country. The place should be shut down until they can pass sanitary rules.

So since para sayo normal sa restaurants yan, dapat ba okay lng sa consumers na madumi kinakain nila at eat at your own risk? Duh

    3. Hindi lang ako hypocrite. Ang aarte nyo ah! Wala sa reality!

      Delete
Oh well syempre lagay lagay lang.

  23. I hate it when pinoys complain that we pinoys give poor customer service-really? ever been out of the country? this is crab mentality and colonial mentality. I have dealt with customer service in the US and other country and believe they also have lapses -they even have the gal to tell the customers to "shut up" and lines like, "go ahead and sue us-we always win anyway". I think that minsan maxadong mataas lang standard ng ibang tao and they cannot be pleased and people should understand may hangganan din ang customer service kasi there afe rules that you have to follow or work around with-kung customer lage mong pagbibibgyan eh maluluge din biz mo. Yung iba dito sobra naman maka judge about customer service-try nyo kaya mag work tingnan natin kung madali lng. That being said, the manager should have apologized and take the food out-end of story. ano pa bang ibang pwede niyang gawin? ilibre lahat ng kumain ng laing?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yung binabayad dun, pinagttrabahuhan so dpat lang naman siguro that you should expect na masatisfy ka sa kung anong binayaran mo.

Based on the story, ni hindi nag-apologized yung manager so that makes it worst.
