    1. This can happen to anyone at any store in any country. Not a big deal and not a huge embarrassment if you didn't do anything wrong. Get over it. If nag-apologize yung guard or cashier, move on na. Wag OA.

      Delete
    2. So maarts. It happens to anyone!

      Delete
    3. Kaysa madala mo yung security tab sa bahay mo, and you will not have any idea how to take it off.

      Delete
    4. Lagi nangyayari itong ganito sa abroad kahit sa mga malalaking stores and never nagiging big deal. If alam mo na wala ka naman talagang ninakaw, be calm, show the receipt, and if they apologized for the inconvenience, move on. On the other hand, dapat maging careful nalang yung mga staff para di na ulit makaiwan ng security tag.

      Delete
    5. I think hes over reacting. Happens all the time. Ako nga nadala ko pa yung sec tab sa bahay, just went back sa store to have it remove. No issues there.

      Delete
    6. Daming arte! Di naman ako nag shoplift so anong issue? Maliit na bagay pinapalaki. Haha. I love Uniqlo!

    7. Oa much ni direk...

You are ranting about incompetence pero when the guard is just doing his job nagkaganyan ka

Ang take note tao yung cashier hindi robot bound to make mistake

      - cashier sa uniqlo na nasigawan

    9. OA!! It happened to me before, pero bakit ako mahihiya? Alam kong bayad. At nagsorry yung staff.

      Delete
    10. Meron pang I love H&M!

    3. Well, its very obvious that the 2( anon 3:35 & 6:56) of u have never been to europe or other parts of the world..its a very ordinary scene sa mga stores ,but nobody would make a big deal out of it. The world doesn't revolve around you Mr. Joey Reyes.

    4. True. Minsan nga maski car keys mo will trigger the alarm. Wag masyado mataas tingin sa sarili, happens from time to time maski sa high-end department stores dito sa US. Uniqlo lang yan ha. Pwede ba.

      Delete
    2. backread ka te, the cashier forgot to take the tag from one of the purchased item kaya paglabas nag alarm So lumabas tuloy na may ninakaw sya kaya dapat i search bag nya.

      Delete
    3. Obviously the other employees were not doing their jobs by forgetting to remove the anti-theft device.

      Delete
    4. Anon 1222 was referring to the guard... Mga bobita

      Delete
  8. Had the same experience in Forever 21 The Block. Sometimes it's incompetence. Sometimes it's but an honest mistake. Just shrugged it off. Might be harder for Direk though, as he sees himself as an important personality.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ang OA niya. It can happen to anyone. Just cooperate peacefully and you can go on your merry way.

    ReplyDelete
  10. So overreacting. It happens. Employees get tired din naman and it's not like it was deliberate. That already happened to me as well, but not in uniqlo. I let them check my bag and verify the receipt. No big deal. They're just double checking naman. I bet they apologized to him after. And I bet they also heard a mouthful from him already. Self-absorbed Lang siguro, feeling everyone's looking at him kaya embarrassing.

    3. Its happens everywhere. No biggie. Best you can do is shrug it off and walk away with a smile. Lelz

  17. Failing to remove the tag happens all the time & at any store(h&m forgets that a lot too!). So unless the employees were rude to you, there really is no reason to blow your top & degrade them that way. Honest mistakes should not be blown out of proportion just because you're some known director. It can be embarrassing but believe you'd rather have that tag removed in the store & spare yourself the headache of doing it yourself. Sobra naman mangmaliit itong director. Accept the apology & just move on.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  20. Same thing happened to me sa Uniqlo Gateway Mall. They said their apologies naman kaagad because they saw me with some of their staff assisting me while shopping.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Oh no direk, they're both brought in by SM!

    ReplyDelete
  22. this is quite embarrassing for anyone at that

    ReplyDelete
  23. oh puhleaze direk its no biggie ! if your conscience is clear why make a big fuss about it? mistakes do happen so better not make any mountains out of molehill.

    ReplyDelete

    1. It kinda is. Yung mga guard sa SM North like Forever 21 and Uniqlo they'll let you stand beside the censor then iwawagayway lahat ng gamit mo sa censor while people look at you as if you stole something.

      Delete
    2. iwagayway? so what? if malinis naman konsensya ko that i bought everything then why the heck would i feel embarassed? chill people, not everyone's looking at you!

  24. Mistake po naman yan Direk, di naman nila intend pahiyain ka and it unfortunately happens. And btw, those who brought uniqlo also brought h&m so same management lang sila.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nobody's perfect, direk Joey. If you didn't steal anything and you know that those items have been purchased and with receipts, there is nothing to be ashamed about.

    ReplyDelete
  30. grabe, nagkamali lang naman yung cashier sa ginawa nya. at syempre yung guard i-ccheck yun kung tumunog nga. it happens, and it's not as if may namatay na dahil dun.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sadly, uniqlo staff seems to lack training in good customer service even in their other branches around the globe.one time,my cousin who is currently pregnant that time, went to a uniqlo store somewhere in the US.she was about to enter when a uniqlo staff stopped her from entering because "there are no items for pregnant women here".what kind of customer service is that?that was very rude.my cousin just shrugged it off because she doesn't want to make a scene anymore eventhough she is pissed to the core.

  32. Get over it Direk. Halatang first time nangyari to sa iyo, kaya rant agad! Sa Pilipinas, I haven't had this kind of experience pa, but this incident has happened to me countless times when going shopping outside the country. Especially to those na mahilig mag.shopping, this will happen to you one way or another. When the alarm goes off sa exitdoor, sales associates will stop you right there & check your bag and shopping bag, check your receipt, some shops kinakap.kapan ka pa, but ganyan talaga eh...ganyan talaga yung process. In the end, the associate would apologize kasi nakaligtaan lang nilang tanggalin during checkout yung security tab ng item mo. Walang feels na 'embarrassment' at all because once that alarm goes off, mananagot ang employees sa management ng store kung meron mang kulang sa inventory nila, so they have to be strict with all that checking shebang. You can't exactly label how 'incompetent' employees were because of one untimely mishap na it just so happen na ikaw yung naging costumer at that time. Whether it's a high-end store or not, konting understanding lang na nagkakamali din yung employees. Oh well... first time mo, Direk?

PS: I am in no way associated with Uniqlo or any retail establishment. Just simply an avid shopper.

    1. Totally agree w you. Happened to me more than once na rin and although it is a bit embarassing, it isn't a big deal either. I'm sure they didn't do it intentionally naman.

      Delete
    2. sana mangyari sayo to para maintindihan mo si direk. not a fan of him though.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. At 2:25, sabi ko nga diba, 'this incident has happened to me COUNTLESS TIMES.' Hindi ko sya kailangan intindihin kasi alam na alam ko what it's like, and it's NO.. BIG.. DEAL.

  33. Aguy!

At least ginawa ng security trabaho nya and checked his stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ako nga kinaladkad ng lady guard ng H&M HK nung tumunog yung security chenes last year pero it's not a big deal actually. Sinigawan ko nalang yung guard ng "could you please wait, i'm not a shoplifter" bilang ganti. haha.

    ReplyDelete
  41. It happens to everyone! Masyado namang pa-star si direk!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Grabe si Direk. Jusme, 1st time nga cguro maexperience yun...

& so what kung tumunog alarm.. the staff forgot to take it out.. shit happens

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wag kang OA director. Dito nga sa ibang bansa, it happens event to super rich people, they are humble enough to follow protocol.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Nangyayari nman yan. It is not as if sinadya nung store. Ano ba gusto ni direk, wag sya i search kasi sikat sya? Imas mali nman ata kung pag nangyari yan sa ibang buyers e icheck nung store tapos pag sikat e palampasin na lng. It happened to me before. I was not offended or embarrased at all, i was not guilty anyway. I was even laughing. No biggie.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Im a fan of direk joey but i think he feels entitled on this one. One rant is enough but.. mutiple rants... hay.. oh well, its his account. To each his own then -ofw in la

  47. Susmeeee Direk That happens everysingle freaking time!!!!! kaya ikaw next time check mo rin kung meron pang mga aning aning dyan sa binili mo Lmao!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Kaloka. Palibhasa THE Direk Joey Reyes ka! Feeling entitled!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  50. It happens all the time. We're never short of dumb sales clerks...and store managers.

    ReplyDelete
  51. this thing happens all the time, no need to rant and be primadonna about it! get off your high horse!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ohmaygahhdd ang OA mo Direk feeling entitled!! Kaloka. Ano gusto mo Direk, to let you out the store without checking your stuff kahit tumutunog na yung alarm?! Aba syempre they have to check. Of course they have to check. Maybe because this happened to me na ilang beses na and not even once did I feel that I was 'embarrassed', more like understanding sa kapwa na walang extremely perfect na employee, nagkakamali at nagkakamali din, na.tatimingan ka lang. As the matter of fact, nakakatuwa nga everytime this happens to me!! haha. I actually agree dun sa isang nag.comment above, especially sa US, once the alarm goes off, you have to be the one na bumalik dun sa cashier. By the looks of it, feeling ko nag.tantrums si Direk while chinecheck yung stuff nya, and pinagalitan yung staff ng store. If so, kawawa naman sila. No sympathy for you at all Direk.

    ReplyDelete

  54. Hello!!! Aka nga lagging nagaganyan sa galleries Lafayette! No big deal! Nde ko naman ninakaw eh m not guilty it happens!

    ReplyDelete
  55. It happens to the best of people. I don't see why you have to make an issue about it. Just because you're some personality? People make mistakes, and I am sure the employee apologized to you. Oh, and it happens at H&M too!

    Overreaction, IMO.

    ReplyDelete

  57. Okay na din that he called the attention of the branch, so they know that they should do their job more carefully. It happened to me before and I let it slide, mali eh. Dapat we call the management's attention.

Big deal yun kasi they're putting somebody's reputation to be judged right then and there, diba I mean kung napadaan ka at nakita mo yun, may judgement ka na agad diba about the other person? Ewan just my two cents.

  58. I used to work as a Sales Consultant in one of SSI's brand. During our orientation, sobrang pinaliwanag sa amin ng ganitong incident kasi pede talagang magdemanda ang customer kapag ganito ang nangyari.

  59. excuse lang po direk. it happens everytime and everywhere..sa ibang bansa po,. kapag tumunog ang alarm, balik agad ang customer inside the store.or check agad ng staff.pero wala pong violent reaction...tawanan mo na lang direk.kasi baka honest mistake nun staff.baka pagod na.kasi busy sa store.or baka aligaga kasi my celebrity direktor na customer..

  63. When the alarms came, were the security/checkers discreet and courteous when they asked if they can check your purchase? It can really happen as sometimes these security tags aren't removed at the counter...experienced it too, in another store, but the way they asked, and how they did, it wasn't embarrassing at all. Plus they thanked for cooperating. I would react like the director though if I had been given the gung ho treatment.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The same thing also happened to me. But its okay, it happens once in a while. I didn't felt bad, its not my fault anyway. Wag masyadong balat sibuyas direk! Tao lang diba? Hindi perpekto.

What's nice is that most families that I've talked to, nakaka.intindi sila, and hindi naman super grave nor lifethreatening yung mistake ng doctor. Hindi din naman sila na.fire out, a simple incident report lang. Now, with Direk Joey natunugan lang ng alarm ng store kasi hindi natanggal yung security tab, complained like a 4yr old on twitter because he was embarrassed kuno, na sya namang naging sanhi ng pagka.sesante ng employee. Grabe. Grabe talaga. Sobrang babaw.
