    1. Oh c'mon. Ang OA lang. You need not be in a beauty pageant just to advance your advocacy. Seryoso. Yung parang deaf people should be recognized kaya dapat nasa beauty pageant for the sake of being inclusive. Tsk.

    3. Ano ba naman itong si christine balaguer ang mga beauty pageants is like high class prostitution for kings and the super rich of this world, yang mga ganyang advocacy e pang question and answer portion lang talaga mga yan to showcase na me substance yung pageant. Bikitima ka din ng mga donald trumps…

Beauty Pageants man yan or corporate office, dapat bigyan pa din sila ng chance if they can perform the job well.

    6. 12:33 wag ka ngang basag trip dyan! Actually if this girl can join and will win, she'll be a good testament that nothing is impossible if you believe and work hard for your dreams! May ganyan na dati sa Canada or certain US state ata, yun nman inborn missing limbs pero mukhang Barbie doll. Kun di nman sagabal sa minimum requirement, she should be allowed, let's not discriminate, she's a person too.

    1. I doubt na mangyayare yun.

    3. 12:35-- 12:19 was just being realistic. Totoo naman eh.

    4. Oo nga. Sa totoo lang. I doubt they will let her win sa miss universe talaga. It's one of the unwritten rule na. Like miss jamaica's short hair making her 4th runner up lang.

  7. Xa ba talaga gumawa noon? Parang the top part was good grammar then the last medyo sablay? I have nothing against her but I agree with bb pilipinas. I guess it isnt the proper venue for her... They have standards, maybe being deaf isnt one of them. She should also respect that. She can still be a role model naman. Ako I would love to join pageants, but my height isnt enough, and I accept it kasi yan ang rules nila. It isnt for me, I'll just find a different path that is fit for me, and I'll do my best to excel there. Sana ganun din xa.

    1. It's natural for deaf people na hindi ganun ka-correct ang grammar nila. Remember, ang sign language di parehos ang syntax compared to spoken English. There was even an article recently about a Benilde student who was bashed online because of that. Intindihin na lang po natin. :) Cheers!

    2. ^ true.

She was made to resign meaning she was qualified as a candidate otherwise how could she have been asked to resign? Obviously, whatever the reason for the resignation had nothing to do with her being deaf. That is what FP has to find out. FP is very resourceful though.

  10. May sumali na rin na deaf candidate dati si Priscilla Navidad but she didn't win. Naging official candidate lang BP 2009. Naging official housemate din xa ni big brother TE+ prior to BP so the question is what made her resign from the competition? Or did the BPCI disqualified her?

  11. Oooopps! Ako yung nagcomment earlier about it being edited. I checked her fb page, nandun pala talaga yung message na yun ✌️

  12. lahat nalang pinagreresign o pinagququit!!!
ganyan talaga kapag sa mga tv contests

Research research din tayo pag may time.

    1. Hindi lahat ng tao maraming time like you to obsess about beauty pageant contestants. Haha.

    2. Christine doesn't have any contract with elite model management. It's still unfair! The BPCI forced to resign the poor girl.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Sumali na sya sa miss world philippines, hindi naman sya dinisqualify. pumasok sya nun sa top 15 or top10 ata yun. at sya yung pinalabas sa MMK last last saturday

    ReplyDelete
  18. Dapat hinayaan lang nila sumali, kahit di siya manalo at least naexperience niya yung dream niya. Parang ang off naman na they forced her to quit sobra naman ang discrimination. Pero I dont think Miss U will let someone with a disability join, alam na

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sya ba ung nasa MMK last time?

    ReplyDelete
  20. try natin mag-aral ng ASL para maintindihan natin na iba ang syntax ng sign language sa english grammar. wag tayong masyadong maalam if hindi naman talaga natin alam. kalokang mga bakla!!! napaka insensitive nyo!!!-- gay relay operator for the deaf, hard of hearing, and speech disabled

    ReplyDelete
  23. Here's the truth from a very reliable source from BPCI, she was asked to resign because she has published nude but high fashion photos of her. She wasn't pulled out of the competition without notice, she was informed beforehand and then asked to resign.

Now every girl who desires to enter the competition needs to know the rules of Binibining Pilipinas first before even going through the screening because their backgrounds will be thoroughly checked.

The lady should have known better to avoid getting into trouble and falling into a "depression".

I also think that she should just keep quiet instead of trying to gather sympathy while deviating the the real issue as to why she was asked to step down. I think it is just fair, even to the other girls who screened that the ones entering the competition should have adhered to the rules of the competition.
