Rich List: The 50 Richest in the Philippines

Forbes magazine on Thursday released its list of the 50 richest Filipinos for 2014.

According to the latest Forbes Philippines rich list, the country's 50 wealthiest are worth a combined $74 billion, up 12% from $65.8 billion in 2013.

Here's the list of the richest Filipinos and their estimated net worth:

Forbes said the minimum amount required to make this year's list was $170 million, up from $105 million last year.

The list was compiled using shareholding and financial information obtained from the families and individuals, stock exchanges, analysts and other sources. Net worths are based on stock prices and exchange rates as of close of markets on August 18.

Wag na kayo nag network war kung sino mayaman...obviouly mas malaki ang kita ng GMA kasi individually sa big 3 they get profit from the network..samantalang ang Lopez eh madami yan sila and madami sangay business nila..and besides bakit kayo nag aaway eh sila super yaman tayo na mga manonood ng teleserye nila mahirap pa rin..

    1. madami nang nabenta sa lopez holdings like meralco, maynilad, nlex. currently, yun broadcasting segment nila ang driver kaya exag man, hindi imposibleng 80% ng 700 million ay galing sa abs cbn.

    baka nakalimutan isulat jan si MVP nasa top 10 yun dati tapos wala aa top 50?! Eh sobrang laki ng net nun compare kay gozon at duavit.
