    1. Nasaktan ka? Siguro naki-sali ka rin sa ice bucket challenge without knowing what it's for noh?

    2. Tama naman sya. And when you do the challenge you should also donate

      Delete

    5. Why? why? Why???!!!!! nakikigaya tayo????

    7. Let me guess ANON 12:16 am, you're one of those folks na nanghihingi pa ng Likes sa FB kasi nag-post ka na sumali ka rin sa Ice bucket challenge pero hindi mo alam na it's for charity?

    8. Naging self glorigication and famewh**e opportunity nlng din!

    9. HE IS DEFINITELY CORRECT !!!
SA DAMI NG NAG ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE ILAN KAYA ANG NAG DONATE AT ILAN ANG NAKIKIUSO LANG ???

      Delete
    10. Actually yung initial mechanics ng challenge is kapag ndi ka magddonate atleast do the IB challenge to raise awareness and then nominate. Pero kung gusto nila mag nominate then mag donate then pwede rin. Bottomline is to raise awareness about ALS.

    11. if u know ALS ice bucket challenge po kasi, accept the challenge or donate, pag nag accept k ng challenge, then u can dare someone else, un lang po, kaya un iba nag accept ng challenge at d nagdonate, un mga tao d2 masyado nagmamarunong

      Delete
    12. 1:23 wag mag marunong. Gawin mo man o hindi ang challenge, once you are nominated, magdodonate ka pa rin. Ang pagkakaiba lang, required amount pag di mo ginawa yung challenge is $100.pero pag ginawa mo naman, you can donate any amount you want.

  2. Don't or won't?

Anyway, he has a point. I agree, sir Joey.

    1. Don't. Bakit naman Won't aber?

      Delete
    2. TO clarify, did you mean na ang dapat nilagay ni Joey is "Don't nominate if you WON'T donate?" If so, I think it works either way. If "don't", it's short for "do not" so it works. If won't (or will not), it still does. Ang difference lang is yung don't is in the act of not donating after participating in the challenge, whereas yung won't is sa simula pa lang eh wala ka nang intention of donating. Again, it works either way.

    3. Please do your research on if clause then you'll now why. #Boom

      Delete
    4. No. It's a conditional clause. The apodosis part should have used a future form of verb. Since ginamit niya present, the protasis cannot use the same form of verb.

    5. Nahilo ako.. hahaha

    1. I agree. Kung uso sya sa Pinas ngayon, sana it's for a disease na widespread dito sa atin, like heart disease or even better population control. Wala namang masyadong may ALS dito sa atin.

      Delete
    2. Yung iba nga naman kasi, akala yata trend lang ito like posting selfies or makeup transformation kaya nakikisali. That's what's sad about the whole affair--imbes na for charity, nagiging opportunity nanaman for certain people para magpapansin.

      Delete
    3. 1:06 am. May mangilan-ngilan na rin accdg to rappler. At mahirap magsalita ng tapos for all you know widespread na pala siya sa pinas.

      Delete

      Delete
    2. 12:20 originally it is not for charity, its for peoples awareness sa ALS, it is to put urself in their shoe

      Delete
  5. May point naman sya. Yung iba kasi nakiki-uso lang, akala yata nila eh katulad ito ng makeup challenge na free for all. It's for CHARITY.

    2. Yes, true, guada. Noted ko rin na sa boy A upper case ang gamit mo, while your name isn't. boy A and Joey have brains on a level really way beyond your reach. That is why both of them are in print media and on TV at ikaw di pa mababasa ang opinions mo kung di dahil kay FP.

  7. He has a point naman. Pero ang alam ko sa mechanics ng ALS Ice bucket challenge, you will only donate if you fail to respond to the challenge within 24 hours. Pero personally, I think those who join should donate anyway, like Charlie Sheen.

    ReplyDelete

    1. i think you have to donate even if you did the ice bucket challenge. For less money ata like $10. But if you didnt do it at all, you have to donate $100

    ReplyDelete
  9. Magre-react dyan si Yokaba for sure.

    3. ANON 12:49 and 1:02 am, so nag-react nga si Yokaba? Tama pala si 12:23? Trololololololol

  11. Mabuhay ang henyo master! Totoo naman eh. Ang iba nakiki-uso lang pero di naman nagdo-donate.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Me point naman sya. Grabe yung kay Matt Damon, tubig galing sa toilet bowl nila ang ginamit, sayang daw pag galing sa tap., yung iba nga daw halos walang mainom at saka mas malinis yung sa toilet nila kung meron mang maiinom yung taga ibang lugar

    1. If you read sa 9gag or other such sites, yan din ang sentiment ng mga tao. Maraming nauuhaw sa Africa at sa ibang parts ng world tapos ang ginagawa lang ng mga tao eh magsayang ng tubig just to avoid giving money to charity? Kaloka lang diba?

      Delete
    2. ^ They just don't get it. They (Africans - okay some part of Africa) just don't have enough technology to turn water into potable water. I pity them for that, but it's not like because it's our fault. Water is not really wasted, there's a cycle.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge's purpose is for us "to put ourselves into their (victims) shoe".

  13. "Opo nagdonate ako bossing"--Marian kanina during Sugod Bahay

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tamaugh!

    2. thumbs up... agree ako sayo.
though the ice bucket challenge is a good cost. others are just doing it for popularity. ika nga para magtrending or nakikiride on lang

      Delete
    3. ANON 1:24, sayang ang english teh, "good cost" ka pa dyan.

      Delete
    4. Tama!

I personally know someone na may als and i can tell you that its as devastating as having cancer. Being part of the minority doesn't mean that you'll just ignore it. Equality lang sana.

  20. Tama ka jan henyo master!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Unlike dun sa iba na sinasabi na wagna gawin yung ice bucket challenge, ang sinasabi ni Joey is essentially "by all means participate, pero also make sure you donate". Yung mga nagre-react negatively are obviously those na hindi aware na for charity pala yung ice bucket challenge at hindi lang basta nauuso.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  23. so joey na forever inggit much hahahaha hindi kasi nya kakayanin ang lamig kasi majonda na sya hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  24. He has a point. Everybody who wants to participate should donate. It's for a good cause anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  25. o.a na ang pilipinas sa panggagaya. or pakikiuso. about this guy, wa ako care. di sya nag I exist sa tv screen ko.

    ReplyDelete
  26. For me dapat you still have to accept and nominate even though di ka makapag donate Dahil kinulang ang Pera for whatever reason, because if you will not accept and nominate the chain will end, whereas Kung mag nominate ka parin May tendency na the people that you challenged ay maka pag donate and so on. And sa Mga taong pang show off lang Hayaan Nyo na di natin Alam Kung ano ang nasa puso nila talaga

    ReplyDelete
  27. totoo nman tlga sinabi ni Joey. yung ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness sa als and donate sa org nila. kaso yung iba kating kati mag ice bucket challenge dhil trending. yun lang yung dahilan nla. dami ko friends sa fb na nagpopost ng video nla ng gnyan. nominate pa more!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Stupid ang mga comments dito .. ang ice bucket challenge replicates kung ano ang mga nararamdaman nang isang tao na may ALS .. na paparalyze yung buong katawan nila and all of them ay meron nang taning ang buhay .. hindi ito katuwaan or pasikatan .. awareness lang ang kailangan

    ReplyDelete

    1. finally saw a comment with sense..

      Delete
  29. May point namab sya talaga yung iba nakikiuso lang. I saw some in fb na kabataan magbabarkadang tambay sa kanto na nag ice buckey challenge, i doubt if they would donate. Feeling cool ba. It's true na mas madami sakit sana ang mas pagtuunan ng research like cancer.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think they are raising funds para makahanap ng lunas sa ALS. Yung cancer naman meron ng chemotherapy. Mas marami nga sakit, pero most of those diseases naman may treatment na. Ito kasi rare ito kaya may awareness at funding.

      Delete
    2. Yes, there are research, but it's not yet absoulute! And there are all other diseases out that has high mortality rate. I just hate when people just follow for the rave! #justsaying

      Delete
  30. While the main point of the exercise it to raise funds, raising AWARENESS is just as important. So go ahead and join the band wagon even if you don't donate money. You just night influence someone who does have the capacity to donate.
