    1. True! i thought SOP na yang mag research muna bago mag balita?

For those insisting that leprosy and necrotizing fasciitis are the same please read

commonly known as flesh-eating disease or flesh-eating bacteria syndrome,[1] is a rare infection of the deeper layers of skin and subcutaneous tissues.Necrotizing fasciitis progresses rapidly, having greater risk of developing in the immunocompromised due to conditions such as diabetes or cancer. It is a severe disease of sudden onset and is usually treated immediately with surgical debridement and high doses of intravenous antibiotics,[3] with delay in surgical treatment being associated with higher mortality.May patient kami meron nito last year and we have to remove the bacteria right away kasi in just a matter of minutes uubusin ng bacteria ang flesh nya. You have to be mindful that if flesh eating nga yung sa pangasinan, in just one day marami na sana patay. The bacteria will literally eat you alive!

While leprosy is an infectious disease that causes severe, disfiguring skin sores and nerve damage in the arms and legs. leprosy is actually not that contagious. You can catch it only if you come into close and repeated contact with nose and mouth droplets from someone with untreated leprosy.

  4. The credibility of ABS CBN is again at stake. They are only good in spreading gossips and not news.

  7. abs cbn news is far better than gma news. kahit ano pang paninira, mas pinaniniwalaan pa rin sila. they report what should be reported. bashers & haters will never gone but abs cbn news will stand strong and might. deal with it haters and bashers. kahit anong panlalait at paninira, andyan pa rin sila. sorry na lang kayo. LOL

  9. Napanood ko yung interview with the DOH rep, leprosy ung sa babae, psoriasis yung sa lalake.

    ReplyDelete
  10. actually napanuod ko to sa gmanewstv yesterday. sabi nung taga pho... leprosy nga raw yung diagnosis. pero nakaphonepatch nila yung dermatologist and she said;

Unang diagnosis sa pasyenteng may sakit sa balat sa Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan, hindi Leprosy. - Dr. Grace Beltran

    ReplyDelete
  11. napanood ko yung news and the doctor clearly said it was leprosy. at yung 2 kapatid nung babae eh nagka leprosy din daw pero gumaling na. yung sa kanya kasi daw kaya lumala kasi mahina ang immune system nya lalot suspetsang baka may TB din sya.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  14. It was really not Leprosy. It's a rare skin disease (i forgot the name) yan ang sabi ng doctor na nagcoconduct ng tests sa kanya. Ang abs cbn halatang walang kwenta magbalita at mas accurate pa ang gma 7 when it comes to news #fact. Solid kapamilya here but solid kapuso sa News Event.

  15. as usual, flop na naman ang abscbn

    ReplyDelete
  16. GMA is right! dahil pina-treat nila yung babae sa isang show nila!

  20. They are talking about the two cases. One is leprosy and the other is psoriasis.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think it is necrotising fasciitis. I had a patient here in New Zealand who had similar signs and symptoms from those patients in pangasinan. It can be leprosy too, it appears like.

  22. Bandila is correct. The girl in Sta Barbara has leprosy and the boy from Villasis has an extreme case of psoriasis.DOH ang me sabi niyan ha hahaha

    1. See, baliktad pa ang info mo. Yung girl ang may psoriasis at yung lalake ang may leprosy. Yan ang napapala pag ang news source nyo eh mali-mali.

  23. Ayan na, bangayan naman sila indirectly. But to be fair, kapams ako but GMA news has always been better for me. They are well-researched and parang less lang ang bias. Hehe. Even pa ngayon na naiirita ako sa pagmumukha ni Korina at Kabayan.

Pero, Bandila huh, two strikes na yan. Ika third, you're out na yan!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Leprosy po yung sa Girl. Psoriasis naman ung sa lalake

    ReplyDelete
  25. Dr. Yung nagsabi na taga Pangasinan din. She was interviewed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Necrotizing Fasciitis or flesh-eating disease.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Credible news program #GMA7, therefore I conclude its GMA 7 saying the truth..

  30. Whatever! The fact remains that the diseases are NOT FLESH-EATING! They are NOT RARE! They are NOT WIDESPREAD!

It was clear that the news of ABS-CBN Bandila last monday was very misleading!

The damage has been done! Naaapektohan na ang Turismo sa Pangasinan. The news caused PANIC and ABS-CBN still remains SILENT!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Pyoderma gangrenosum ung sa babae.

    ReplyDelete
