Update: The Secret Keeper

I have just received the latest update regarding The Secret Keeper story that I posted last Wednesday. 

According to a very reliable source, the girl in the story, Miss C, has already filed rape charges against the athletes yesterday. The details of the charges are not yet clear. What I do know so far is that one of the athletes involved in the case has tapped the services of a very prestigious law firm located along Paseo de Roxas. 

This story has many different versions. I am in no position to tell you which one is right or wrong. Just like a court case, let me share two different versions with you and you can be the judge.

Version 1
After meeting at a bar, one of the athletes invited the girl to the house for some fun. When they were done, the girl was shocked when the two other athletes suddenly entered the picture. The two of them coerced her into doing it with them, while the other one was in charge of the video recording.

Version 2
The girl had group fun with the athletes and one of them was in charge of the video recording. When the girl found out about it, she demanded for the recording to be deleted. The athletes refused and kicked her out of the house.

  8. Huh... Wait, I'm confused. The initial BI said that the girl went willingly with them, and even confronted them about the video after they did the deed/s.

    So it's either the first BI was inaccurate or the girl is using the situation to her advantage to get some publicity for herself.

    My next question is, if they did rape the girl, why would they take a video? Why would you willingly document your crime? Only psycho serial killers do that. It doesn't make sense especially if you're a public figure with an image to maintain and so much to lose.

    I'm not taking sides here, but there are definitely holes in this story. Hopefully FP will investigate and update us when he gets more details.

  18. The "rape" claim will be difficult to prove. The 'unconsented 'recording' might be the only thing she can contest.. Still hard to prove cos she doesn't have a copy at all.. Unless leaked to the public..

  20. The real story is the girl willingly went home with E to have one on one with him. Secretly he videotaped the whole thing. Then nagulat si girl biglang nag-join si G and D sa room. Pumalag. Doon nangyari ang rape. The second video shows the girl crying. Ang masama, during the same night pinagkalat ni E ang video para ipagyabang sa ibang team mates. The next day eh kinulong sa bahay at ayaw paalisin si girl kasi nga kakalat ang nangyari. Then girl was offered bribe money in the millions to cover up the bad press kasi masisira image ng team. Kalat na kalat na sa sports community. Yan ang uri ng iniidolo sa Pilipinas.

  21. One of the three players involved in this issue is an integral part of their team and nearly irreplaceable. he is the only player who is physically equipped to do his role. His backups are very small for international competition. which is why if he gets suspended for this issue, the team's aspirations for the world qualifiers will be in limbo.

I am not saying that the guys are innocent but this girl is definitely not the timid/shy type who was just picked up from somewhere while she was on her way home and was forced to have sex with the guys. These guys are hot and i am sure when she met them, her panty was WET! So sorry for the foul language. This is just an observation..there are many women here in Manila nowadays who are sexually active and act like "sluts". You see them in the clubs, social events etc. with their mid priced platform heels. They ooze this sleazy sex image to attract the opposite sex but when this thing happens they act all virginal which is just foul!!!! Own up please or be really virginal the next time u go out. As for the guys, winning a few games does not equate to greatness! Be the no.1 team in the world first before all this media frenzy!

  25. I think hindi rape ang dapat na case dyan. Ang case lang siguro dyan e yung parang sinampa ni K against H. Sumama naman siya ng kusa, 'di ba? Ang mali lang is ni-record nila without the girl's consent. Please lang, wala sanang magmamalinis to be fair. I'm not a fan of the athletes pero dapat siguro matinong kaso ang isampa.

  26. The girl may have been willing up to some point.. However there are things that a girl may not want to do (ie., video, group s*x).. If that's still pushed despite the girl's resistance or without her knowledge, she's still violated.. It may not be rape but something wrong was still done to her.. And justice should still be served... Just because a girl is wild, it doesn"t mean she doesn't have the right to say no or foul.

  28. G and D liable as principals for the crime of rape. E is liable as accomplice plus his violation of the anti-voyeurism law. Might be difficult to prove but jurisprudence dictates that it is presumed that no Filipina will cry rape if no rape really happened.

  30. If this turns out to be false accusations, what's the case against those who fabricated the stories? Not much of a fan of the athletes but giving them benefit of doubt and leaving it to court if there's a case. They are very popular know so naturally they are bound to be entangled in controversies. This is a serious accusation and a great scoop for your blog, fashion pulis. Kudos for getting a headliner!

I'm not being righteous and I've had my fair share of mistakes that were life changing BUT I still agree that IF, IF, IF, the girl said NO, then they should have stopped. RAPE has nothing to do with the woman's disposition. Whether she's a slut, prostitute, dancing naked in a bar or went home with them to have "fun" doesn't mean she loses all her rights against being violated and it certainly doesn't give any man the right to force themselves on her. Meron nga mga babae na disente, tumatawid lang ng kalye nararape pa e. Did they deserve that too? And to the people saying that if it happened to them, they'd be in heaven and bragging about it, REALLY??? you would have 3 or 4 men, strangers at that, however handsome and popular they are, get their way with you? Really!!!?? Just because these men are handsome as hell, doesn't mean they don't make mistakes and in this case, both parties made mistakes. The girl made a poor judgement of character and the boys took advantage of that. To the people saying the girl deserved it, no one deserves to get raped. You go through hell and everyday you just wish you were dead. I hope it never happens to you and to any of your loved ones. Who knows what really happened in that place except for the 4 or 5 of them. Fact is, no one really knows whether it is rape or not. If the girl feels violated, she should be heard. I don't think rape is the kind of publicity she wants. Not in this country where double standards is every other person sitting next to you

  33. I think some of the comments are missing an important point here... The focus of topic here is not whether she was raped or not but its the VIDEOTAPING incident. We are all "sluts" male or female and if given a chance to make out with a gorgeous individual, I am sure we will grab the opportunity. Pero hindi na TAMA na kunan pa ang mangyayari di ba? Iba na yun eh. And sa 2 BI's presented, hindi naman sinabi ni FP na nasa usapan nila ang videotaping... They all agreed to have fun but not while the tape is rolling.

    in any case, the only thing foul here is the fact that the video was used to show the macho image of these creeps

    Anyway, how come this hasn't been reported yet? If a case has been filed, then it's public record already. I've been checking online and there's nothing.

  43. I completely agree with anon 1:23 PM. The law against rape protects sex workers as well. And it clearly stipulates that use of force to consummate the sexual act is considered rape. How to prove that rape indeed happened is a different story altogether.

And kung pinagkalat nga ng certain "E" ung video na kinunan nila eh that's a hard evidence nga.   53. To those asking, E,F,G and H are the ones involved. That excludes Miss C. You obviously know who E is, that's a given. As for F, he took the video, apparently, since he didn't wanna join the fun. As for G, there are a lot of G's in the team. But Queen B tweeted that she'd be representing a certain famous G, so that crosses one G from the list. (She obviously won't represent someone of a scandalous background, right?) Find out for yourself which certain "G" this is being pertained to by this BI. Lastly, H. This guy isn't really in the spotlight. But, based from what I've read he was also part of the dinner buffet/midnight snack.

    I am not saying they deserve to be raped coz no one deserves that. But it all boils down to "u get what u give"..u play with fire u will really get burned! A bit similar to the party girl and the US marine incident before. I will have my full sympathy and empathy if the girl, like in cliche rape stories, is an innocent bystander who was picked up by intoxicated horny hoodlum looking men.

    Di ako bitter at all. I was just stating an observation kasi besides this issue it deals with a bigger prob in society like people hooking up with strangers in FB which is rampant nowadays, saw it on the news. Also, i did not say na every girl gets wet when they meet these athletes i was just pertaining to the said girl. Hindi nga ba? i'm sure when nag hook up sila nung 1 guy (based sa mga stories here) e alam naman nya na makakascore sya diba? Though at the end, i concede that deep inside im not a big heartless jerk coz i do sympathize kahit katiting with the girl if talagang na violated sya.

    I feel really bad for the girl. Imagine the courage she gathered to file a case and risk public scrutiny. Ang hirap non. Not to mention the emotional pain not only to herself but to her entire family as well. Imagine if this happens to your friend, sister, or even daughter.

  57. Let's see... First, all we really know is she went to the athletes' place to have consentual sex, with one person or with 3 persons, we don't know. Second, we don't know if she cried rape when she was forced to have sex with all the athletes or when she found out she was being video taped. All we really know is something happened and someone was violated so let's save the judgements until there's more information. We can't even guess who the girl is. For all we know, she might be a rich girl who doesn't need the money nor the bad publicity

  58. If the girl wasn't raped and she felt violated by the videotaping then the proper case should be filed.
    What I'm wondering about is, if there is a video that shows she was a consentual partner to all 3 or 4 athletes then why would her lawyers allow her to file rape charges when there's a video evidence that she was a willing participant. Won't thier whole case be shattered by this video? I don't know what you call the charges KH filed against HK for videotaping their sex act without her knowledge but if you were the athletes and this girl is saying rape and you had the evidence that says it was consentual, wouldn't you present it? I'm not a lawyer but isn't it that a rape charge carries a heavier sentence than the charges KH filed against HK? If you were the athlete, wouldn't you present this video to show it was consentual and not rape then take responsibilty instead for the videotaping which is a lighter charge.
    This just makes more sense to me than she is crying rape because she felt violated about the video. She's probably crying rape because she was raped and her lawyers are probably going through with it because there's evidence

    What society teaches us is to NOT GET RAPED, when in fact, it should teach us TO NOT RAPE.

    For this particular Blind Item, let's just all agree that videotaping the act was AGAINST her will, and these athletes broke the Anti-Voyeurism Law.

  61. Suddenly, I remembered K's case. Their deed (K and H)happened a long time ago, unknown from everyone. But when the video surfaced in the internet, K cried for help accusing H for taking advantage of her innocence,she said she was only 19 that time.Also, remember "Nicole" who filed rape charges against (I'm not sure if their navy). Then this woman...all I could do is google this:

  69. Rape is definitely a greater crime than the unconsented recording but the video would a crucial piece of evidence. If I was the girl and I was really raped, I'd hope that the video still exists so it can be shown to the judge (in private chambers) as proof of the rape.

    on the other hand If the act was with Consent, the video could be shown by the athletes to show that the girl acted voluntarily. Hence, no rape.

    The proof should be in the video if she resisted the other 2 players.
    But they could have been edited by now and only show the fun part. However, if that can proved that it has been tampered, the guys are in trouble. They should burn all evidence so that everyone is happy.

    Also, in the first part of this BI, it looks like she 'accidentally' found out in the morning and demanded to be deleted. Therefore, was the romp okay with her just as long as there was no digital memento? Why didn't she cry rape right there and then? Because the jerks didn't delete when she asked nicely, now she's out to get them with the help of Queen B?

    There's no rape here, what we have is vendetta.

    since hindi naman makapagpakitang mukha si Miss C, this still remains a nasty rumor, smear campaign even.

    if ever na maapektuhan ang image ng team, i think one of the team members who was shown the video should cash in in defense of C at tuluyan ng wasakin ang team or kick out the bad weeds of the team for rebranding.

I used to be promiscuous like that and once u go with a guy who has 'friends' you should be wary already. Theres a strong chance you wont be sleeping with just one guy so you also have to be careful. It's commonly done in politics and corporate wars - hurl accusations whether they can be substantiated or not. Then if she's from a buena familia she has more to lose over the videotape. Again I don't think this is rape. Her distraught over the video the morning after clearly shows she was not raped. A rape's victim primary concern would be her safety, not her honor at those time. Yung honor part, later na un when she's safe and has had time to think things over. But they had to throw C out of the house. That is not rape. Sinong rape victim ang kelangan paalisin pa ng bahay ng rapists - plural pa to ha, we're talking about 3 very athletic guys. And they had to kick her out. Yeah, THAT sounds like rape. Honestly I'm sick of these animals. But you know what's more sickening the famewhores like him? An even bigger famewhore like C crying wolf rape! I hope she gets what she deserves!     And the one who started this isn't even the supposed victim (who still remains anonymous up to this day), it's this guy. Google the name of this foreigner, who's the source of this rumor (his name is in the news already), "+ football", see the articles that will come up, and let your mind do the thinking.
    And why wait for a month to expose this crime? Took them a month to plan this "demolition job?" If it indeed happened, this should've exploded in the news last month.

  122. I am trying my best to be objective about this, and so far, this is my assessment:

    On one side we have our athletes. Young, hugely popular, no one can blame them if they're a little mayabang, cocky. Also, given their foreign backgrounds, it's no surprise if they have more liberal attitudes toward sex. Plus, obviously, in a scenario where there are 3 (or 4?) guys and one girl, it's more likely that something bad would happen. So ok. Given all the factors, we could say that it's not outside the realm of possibility that the girl was raped.

    On the other hand, we have Mr. P, the accuser. Mr P has a LONG (as in dating back to 5 years ago and maybe more) history of making up stories, fraud, possible embezzlement behind him. He's set-up bogus organizations, websites, staged photographs, and a whole lot of other crap. In the province where he used to "work" he's considered a pariah because of all the crap he's pulled.

    So given that, who's the more credible party? The athletes whose background and circumstance make it seem that they're more likely to commit the crime than others? Or the accuser who's had half a decade worth of lies and scams behind him?

Wouldn't you be seething to bring the men who did this to her to justice, to see them rot in prison?
