A celebrity needs to undergo many trials to reach his/her current status. Celebrities who worked their way up the ladder appreciate their careers more than celebrities who gained fame overnight. While becoming famous is easy, staying on top is not. Fame can easily break anyone who has a weak heart and is easily distracted.

In a twist of fate, Troubled Singer (TS) probably did not expect the gesture of a Popular Performer (PP) who took time to ask about her. Sometime ago, when TS was most sought after, she commented that PP was off-key in a duet with a female singer. TS’s comment was heard throughout the holding area. Eyebrows were raised at the gutsy and tactless statement TS made. PP never reacted and as a professional, she has learned to hold reacting on instinct.

When PP found out that TS is undergoing a personal crisis, she had the initiative to see TS and advise her. Allegedly, PP told TS to own up to her errors and apologize regardless of the reason for her misbehavior. TS admitted that personal matters have affected her and she’s been feeling depressed. Anxiety has been winning its battle on her as well. With her motherly instinct kicking in, PP told TS to seek medical help, which was the most logical action to do. PP let out a sigh of relief upon hearing that TS said that she is indeed seeking medical remedies to help her deal with her situation.

Incidentally, due to the irresponsible behavior of TS, many possible gigs have cancelled her name from their list of performers. Even if TS has potential to be a world-class performer, booking managers are afraid that she might bail out at the last minute and their events would fail. Thus, for the coming holidays, when corporate parties are left and right, TS is no longer priority as guest. Sadly, her management has warned TS that if she does not straighten up her act and her reputation, she can kiss her career goodbye. Other than talent, attitude toward the job matters.
