Many celebrities would often espouse that real friends are hard to find in showbiz and even cast doubt that showbiz friends are merely using their acting skills to take advantage. Hence, whenever celebrities are seen with a constant set of celebrity companions, the public assumes that such adage is not true. On the one hand, celebrities feel more comfortable with people who understand the time and demands of their work. On the other hand, certain celebrities prefer the company of private citizens for them to be away from being reminded of the pressures of their work.
The public image of Pretty Celebrity (PC) is one that is full of accolades and her popularity abounds. Her smile and refreshing disposition light up magazine covers, posters, and her social media posts. She seems to be approachable and kind. Hence, fans gravitate toward her and this following is translated into hordes of social media followers and most importantly, in box-office receipts. In other words, PC seems to have it all.
However, PC has a secret that very few actually know and many would find hard to believe. Allegedly, PC can be insecure, aloof, and snobbish. In contrast to her attractive and amiable looks is her opposite personality. To protect her nice image, her management is always alert to do damage control in case PC reveals her true self to unassuming fans. Even the staff are careful on how they treat PC, who is allegedly often ready to complain and tell them off in case she’s displeased.
PC once had a close friend from the same management. They even did unforgettable movies together, but the friendship fell through as the hypocrisy level might have reached intolerable levels. All is not lost, however, as PC has one Male Friend (MF). PC and MF have done movies together and almost started out at the same time in their careers. Well, MF can be a flatterer, which is good for PC’s ego.
