Zanjoe Marudo has finally reacted to the rekindled friendship between his former girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, and the actress’ ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

During the press conference of “Tubig at Langis” on Saturday, Marudo said it is good that Alonzo and Anderson have become friends again since they were estranged for six years following their separation in 2010.

Marudo also hinted that he has nothing against Alonzo and Anderson if ever they get back together.

"Mabuti 'yun para sa kanila. Kung meron man silang nararamdaman ngayon, maganda 'yun para sa kanila, ‘di ba? Parang kapag pag-uusapan mo 'yung nakaraan nila, ‘di ba parang medyo mahirap 'yung pinagdaanan nila? Mabuti 'yun at least open sila. Makakagalaw sila. Lahat ng pwede nilang gawin, pwede nilang gawin,” he said as quoted by entertainment site Push.

When asked if he still has feelings for Alonzo, Marudo said: “Ngayon wala na. Masasabi ko na talaga parang okay na ako. Okay naman ako.”

Marudo, however, clarified that he and Alonzo do not have any ill feelings toward each other.

“Okay naman kami. Kapag nagkikita kami sa mga event, nagpapansinan kami. Friends, parang ganon, parang normal na single,” he explained.

Following their breakup more than eight months ago, Marudo said he is now happy.

“Yung estado ng puso ko, masasabi kong masaya, masayang-masaya. At ako ngayon ayaw kong i-pressure 'yung sarili ko sa kahit anong bagay kasi sa ngayon committed ako sa sarili ko, sa trabaho ko, sa family,” he said.

Aside from “Tubig at Langis,” Marudo is also gearing up for his upcoming movie with Sam Milby and Angel Locsin

Must Orchestrate a Change in Her Image

When she began her career, Persistent Talent (PT) showed much promise and viewers eagerly awaited if she would indeed earn her place among the well-loved and respected talents of the station. PT possesses one of the prettiest faces in the roster of talents and for a network to have given her the break indicates that she had much potential. PT started at a young age and the network slowly built her up.

As a teen, one hit came after another even though these were short exposures. Step by step, PT was carving her name. Then, a major break was given to her, and starring in a soap was the dream of the tens of talents in her network. With high expectations, PT was pressured to deliver. After all, the said project was the vehicle to launch her and other talents. Unfortunately, the project failed to deliver, but instead of putting PT in the freezer, the network gave her another project. Similar to the earlier one, PT was criticized for her lack of mass appeal.

However, the network was not giving up on PT and she showed how much she loved the business. Yet, behind the scenes, negative stories of her alleged haughtiness and indifference continued. While PT tried to address all these issue, her responses were still criticized. Soon, followers and bashers watched her every move closely. Bashers questioned every statement and truly picked on her. As more bashing came, PT had learned to respond without losing her composure. However, the bashers seemed to increase in number, and PT was caught between their flooding her social media accounts or her shutting down of her social media accounts. The latter was out of the question because every celebrity knows that social media accounts are ways to keep their presence in the consciousness of netizens.

After more projects and more candid statements, even her positive accomplishments invited bashing. The negative image alarmed her endorsements. Future endorsements allegedly wanted to back out, while her present major endorsement was already in panic. Luckily, the management of PT has an ace and a Powerful Insider (PI) made a call to an Influential Figure (IF). A statement coming from IF could improve the image of PT. Known as a staunch advocate, IF has convincing power, which PI hoped could deflate the negative image hounding PT. Thus, out of the blue, IF suddenly reacted to one of the issues hurled at PT. Soon, other major celebrities expressed support for PT. As expected, PI got what he wanted and IF was able to raise awareness to a significant issue. However, the measurement of success is indicated by the attitude of bashers towards PT.
