During a screening of a movie, a loud voice was heard reprimanding Someone (SO) in the audience who had opened a cellphone to check messages. Not minding the loud voice, SO continued to tinker with the gadget and the light from the device shone as the movie continued. After a few seconds, the same voice was heard, but this time, the statement included a curse and almost an insult. Because the voice sounded familiar, SO immediately shut off the phone. The loud voice was no longer heard after. Finally, as the movie ended and theater lights were opened, a very noticeable image was seen leaving the area where the voice came from.
Having spent most of her life in the entertainment industry, Powerful Personality (PP) will always be a person of interest even though some sectors think she has already reached her prime. While most of her followers have remained loyal, PP is slowly making a calculated comeback into the limelight after relaxing in her career in the past years. For some stars who can rightfully claim the title ‘Diva,’ PP can definitely fall among that category. PP has the power and the clout for her requests to be granted.
Being a celebrity has limitations that PP has learned in the past decades. PP cannot be seen in public without being mobbed by people and being stopped for selfies. PP might not even be able to walk leisurely in any mall without being recognized, stalked, and watched. For instance, when PP attempted to exercise a right, her car was surrounded by fans, who made it difficult for her to go down from her car. Thinking of the safety of the fans who had waited for her, PP had no choice but to leave the premises. Had she insisted on going down, the mob would crush people.
Being able to attend public events is a special time for PP. While she tries to blend in with the crowd, she has certain expectations. Thus, one could not blame her for acting rudely in the darkness of the theater towards a stranger who made a very grave mistake. For all we know, PP might have actually expressed the sentiments of others who were in the same venue.
