How toxic is fame? Is it always a right of any celebrity to be demanding and swell-headed the moment they feel they are popular enough? Should the public be always expected to accept such attitude hook, line and sinker? At the rate reports are making the rounds online about Young Star YS, it seems that YS’ true colors are out.

For quite a while, there have been serious negative press about YS that have damaging implications to her on and off-screen persona. From her personal life to her public demeanor, YS is favorite target of showbiz followers and critics alike.

As alleged, the once wholesome and pleasant YS has turned into an arrogant and swell-headed star ever since she hit the big time. Suddenly, the public have witnessed her attitude, something that astounds even those within her circle.

In provincial shoots, YS makes it a point to avoid being ‘disturbed’ by anyone as much as possible. Allegedly, she is allergic to fans, most especially those seeking her out for photos - even if it means the owner of the place where they are doing the shoot. There was even an incident in one of her mall tours where fans witnessed a very cheerful and friendly YS performing on stage, only to turn very snooty and aloof backstage seconds after her number.

There were already several instances where YS allegedly showed her fangs, one of which was her recent stint as a guest in a weekly show. Allegedly, while she was singing, as expected, fans became unruly and mobbed her – to the extent that one grabbed her hand while holding the microphone, thereby exposing to the audience and televiewers that she wasn’t singing live but only lip-synching!

YS was so pissed that she complained to the production staff and demanded that bouncers be always to protect her from fans during her number. She was so mad and without batting an eyelash, even threatened that she will not perform the next time that she sees no bouncers around her. Geez!

What’s funny is that unknown to her, these rowdy fans are reportedly part of the script and are gathered there to have a semblance of a huge fan base. Really? Isn’t that a Lol – aka lots of love? Cheers!

Gretchen and Marjorie, What's the Real Score?

For months, the gossip mill is abuzz as to the real reason why celebrity sisters, Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto have suddenly gotten cold and had distanced themselves from each other. It has become a guessing game for their fans and followers alike who ask them via their social media accounts why the sisters who used to be such close allies amid their family squabble have not been seeing eye to eye for quite a while.

There were earlier speculations that the feud began when Gretchen expressed her admiration for fast rising Kapamilya star, Liza Soberano, who is supposedly a rival of her niece and Marjorie’s daughter, Julia Barretto. Heard from the grapevine that Gretchen was even quoted saying that Liza, Kathryn Bernardo and Janella Salvador are the future stars of Kapamilya. Reportedly, Marjorie was so hurt and insulted, and that’s how things began to sour between her and sister Gretchen. Or so we thought.

But now it can be told! The silent war allegedly began when, during a tete-a-tete at a party hosted by Kapamilya Dreamscape Entertainment Head Deo Endrinal, Gretchen reportedly told Deo that he should have invited Julia’s father, Dennis Padilla so that the family can begin to settle whatever differences they may have. This report reached Marjorie and allegedly did not sit well with her – she was mad at Gretchen.

Reports have it that Marjorie called her sister on the phone and did not mince words in her conversation with her. Reportedly, hurtful and insulting words were exchanged. Henceforth, right that very day, things were never the same between the two siblings.

If you ask those who know them, this feud is nothing new to this family. But for whatever it’s worth, their friends and family hope that eventually, their troubled relationship will be patched up soon.
