  1. A mother grieving the loss of her child, na ipinagkatiwala sa Ateneo para sa training at mas magandang future… isa sa mga buhay na nawala dahil sa negligence πŸ’”πŸ’”

    2. Omg initiation ba? If true, dapat may makulong! 2 bata ang namatay!

    3. Nope. Team building is not the same as boot camp. Ok ka lang?? If pinalabas nila team building yung boot camp, somebody lied.

  5. Basketball player anak niya. Bakit ginawang pang swimmer ang training??? This must be further investigated.

Jusko, wala man lang liaison officer!

    1. Diba? Grabe my heart breaks for her.

  10. Ateneo should be accountable! Wala nga sila update sa parents, parang walang respeto, pinag hirapan ng magulang yan tapos ganyan ganyan lang ginawa nila, puro pa sila post na they support daw kuno ek ek, pero hindi naman nag reach out sa parents. Kakagigil!!

  11. Let me guess, after Ateneo finished investigating themselves, no one will be responsible for his death :D :D :D

  12. This is truly heartbreaking!!! Prayers to the family. There are lots of issues here. I wonder why they do this kind of training in an open sea. Hope they will get the justice that they deserved.

  13. Grabe iyak ko dito

  14. Accountability. Dahil may nawalang buhay at di lamg 1. Dalawang buhay pa. Kailangan may managot. Kng ako yung magulang, wala akong pake kahit sino kang respetadong coach or school.

  15. Bakit ginagawa tayong tanga ng Ateneo?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Sana meron criminally liable. Ang magiging defense ng ADMU ay aksidente ang nangyari kaya merong not one but two casualties. Justice and peace for the victims and their beloved families.

  17. This is so heartbreaking, condolences po.

  18. GRABEEH! JUSTICE FOR THESE TWO!!! LET ADMU HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!

  20. You gonna do risky and dangerous stuff like that, you need to have medics and rescue on call...this is hazing, not team building. This is endangerment, not empowerment. This is reckless and irresponsible. This was a tragedy waiting to happen.

    Let justice be served.

  21. She can sue the school, she was not informed of anything. Grabe uso ba ang hindi nag iinform or nag send out ng slip sa parents?

  23. Dapat may managot talaga nito. Hindi pwedeng wala lang.

  24. Dapat ban na sa UAAP yang Ateneo.

    1. Tama!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Coach Ayo of UST was banned indefinitely from all UAAP leagues due to bubble training during pandemic. The worst thing happened there was pinakain daw ng mamantika yung players kaya nagreklamo. Jusme, may buhay na nawala d2 sa ADMU.

Ilan championship na ba ang Atteneo under that coach? Sana talaga makuha ng mother ang answers kung bakit may pasa ang anak niya dapat Atteneo investigates and gives her the answers

    ReplyDelete

  29. The strong waves may have been a factor during the training, but that doesn’t erase the serious questions that still need answers.

Coach, not every athlete has the same physical condition, endurance, or limits. Just because some players were able to handle it doesn’t mean everyone could. That’s exactly why proper assessment, supervision, and safety measures are so important.

Most importantly, a family lost a son. They deserve transparency, accountability, and direct communication from those responsible for the program.

And where is the leadership now? The family should not have to search for answers on social media. They deserve to hear from the people who were in charge.

I sincerely hope there is no news blackout. When a young life has been lost, the response should be openness, accountability, and respect for the grieving family.

  30. Coach should be incarcerated. Afam ba ang coach? Dapat bawal sya lumipad. Someone has to be accountable.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The coach should be put in jail. Gross negligence. Ateneo should pay a hefty amount to the distressed family. Those tuition fees na kinukuha nyo sa mga students, ibigay nyo lahat sa dalawang pamilya, mali rin kayo for getting a stupid, ahole coach.
