DeleteDami rin kasi paandar ng ibang parish church. Minsan overboard na rin sa normal mass rites. Tinatawag pa ng pari mga birthday celebrant, nag celebrate ng anniversary bago matapos ang misa. Ayun, matagal na ang sermon ng pari, mas lalo pa natatagalan ang mass rites. Noong holy week nga, may isang parish priest na usual na naghuhugas paa sa mga disipulo, pati deacon at sakristan, sinama na rin sa paghugas paa. Juskolord. 😭
ReplyDeleteThis Pablo guy didn't really apologize at all but instead minimized the animal abuse. Instead of showing humility and accountability, he put the blame to the lower ranks.With his post, we can surmised that he was well informed of the dove cabled, but didn't get the result of what this whole thing was all about. VIRAL. That is why he is offended. He was schooled by the public.

Its just an animal not a human being therfore people shouldn't make a big issue out of it. Complain if I used a human being.
Lecturing people about their reactions towards his failed presentation is cringey. If you cannot respect animals, how can we expect that you are respectful of human beings?
He just made his bed now lay on it.
If you read carefully, thoroughly and precisely what Cardinal Pablo David said he was regretful that this animal abuse had happened. He was unaware of the pigeon tied more so if he knew he would have disallow it. I have surmised that you wanted to act cool by saying this Pablo guy but hey he is Cardinal Pablo David. A rank lower than the pope. I believe that you are smart but acting suspicious on every level of this unfortunate event and targeting the Cardinal leaves you the unfortunate one. And a sad dude.

ReplyDeleteIn terms of religious traditions, I’m still very conservative. Kahit pa we are living in a modern age, may mga customs na hindi na kailangang i-adapt sa panahon just like how some priests are doing the mass nowadays, pati na yung mga santong binibihisan ng kung anong popular na costume sa prusisyon just for the sake of going viral.

ReplyDeleteIn this day and age, it’s surprising that so many people are still oblivious to the suffering of animals.
They could have easily used cut-out cardboard or styrofoam, so why use a real, living dove, only to restrain it just to keep it from moving? It’s heartbreaking. 💔Animals don’t deserve this kind of treatment. Do better!
GMA reported that the dove eventually died after being released with the balloons. 😢
